Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous0
Oct 27, 2023
Recurrent bugs, crashes and way too long loading screens make this game a living nightmare. The crusade mode where you have to manage your own armies is absolutely terrible, you get ambushed all the time and go through random encounters time and time again which mean more and more loadings screens. Better play this game on PC.

An absolute classic for all lovers of RPG and martial arts. Gameplay is fun and exciting, learning new moves, good or evil choices also influence your character's combat style. The music and the graphics are very immersive, the lore and all the characters make you want to dive deeper and deeper inside this marvelous world. I wished it was longer and we could explore more locations. Where is the sequel?

Marvel's Midnight Suns8

Better than I expected, I enjoyed customizing my own superhero and his abilities. Creating bonds with all my favorite superheroes like i was fighting by their side, building my own legend. The deck-building and DoS style of strategy with a little pinch of XCOM on top of that, everything blends so well and make it a very solid experience. Unfortunately, game keeps crashing every hour on PS4, otherwise i would have given a better grade.

Weird West7
Aug 22, 2023
The game is fun overall, i like all the RPG aspect, the dialogue and character development, you can make some interesting choices so you feel more immersed in the world. But the story didnt really make it for me, since it was divided into 5 parts with different points of view which is kinda original, it kinda prevented me from really feeling attached to one character since I kept switching from one to another.

Aliens: Dark Descent6
Aug 22, 2023
The game is very original, i love the atmosphere and the mechanics to manage stress and ammo from your squad, always having to mind your position against waves of alien or use stealth to your advantage. Problem is, it is bugged and laggy as hell on PS4. Shame.

Sakura Wars6

Dating sim and hack'n slash game, with a lot of cutscenes. If you are into anime, you might somewhat like the game, because it has japanese voice acting. The story is kinda interesting and have some nice sequences, but the main characters are definitely the reasons to play. However, if you are looking to feel stimulated throughout the game and have a lot of fun with compelling gameplay, i would not advise you to spend time with it.

The concept is nice and stimulate your imagination, making you find how to make the best games while taking into account the market and the synergy between the type of game and its story while also selecting on which platform they will be published. You really feel immersed and entertained for a few hours but when you end up having a full team inside the biggest office you can buy, and more money than you need, you feel like there is nothing left to see of the game. Game is a little bit too easy and repetitive.

Nice gameplay and rpg mechanics, great graphics, decent story and lore. Love the protagonist, although I didnt care that much about the other characters. The choice of dialogue didnt seem to have much impact unfortunately except for slightly changing some lines. I wish the final boss was stronger or had different phases. The extension is nice.

Idol Manager8
Mar 31, 2023
The game is kinda fun and offers a lot of options to manage your Idols and make them as efficient as possible. Every idol has unique features and different stats like in a RPG so you must take everything into account when recruiting or training them. You can choose what kind of concept and music they will perform, which titles they will do during concerts, and so on. You are competing against other Idol companies which is kinda challenging, in a good way. Unfortunately there seems to be no negative effect of giving a low wage to my idols, which is easy to abuse and that can be game breaking.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony9
Mar 31, 2023
Danganronpa 3 still manages to subvert my expectations with amazing plot twists, especially during the first trial. Just like in the previous releases, characters are well developed and unique, the mystery is as thick as it gets. I enjoyed every trial, and some characters were very memorable, some definitely more than others. The debate scrum mechanic is absolutely EPIC with the background music, it makes the trial more intense than ever. The english voice acting is perfect. The mastermind reveal was very cool but the rest of the ending didnt really do it for me, the mini-game was absurdly hard and not fun. Also, Kokichi's scary face is burned inside my brain forever.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc9
Mar 31, 2023
Unique characters with defining personalities, very compelling story and lots of dialogue and exploration, although the best part is the trial where you start uncovering the truth like Detective Conan. The gameplay is kinda similar to Phoenix Wright since you use evidence and point out contradictions, sometimes you play mini-games, and so on. The only flaw of this game would be it does not have enough interactive content and feels more like a visual novel.

My favourite Danganronpa game. I liked the characters of this one the most, because of the cutscenes and memorable personalities of each one of them, especially Nagito. From the opening of the game to the end, you are engaged and want to find more about the characters and what is the identity of each killer. I enjoyed the new trial mechanics which add some epicness to the game.

Loved playing from Miles Edgeworth's perspective, with unique way of solving things with his deduction skills. The new characters are truly memorable, the story is just as good as the other Phoenix Wright games if not better. The trials get you hooked like always. Nothing much to say except its a true classic. And great sountrack.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses10
Mar 31, 2023
One of my favourite Fire Emblem games, with great choice of characters for all the three houses and they all have so much depth and personality, you want to know more about every one of them, interact with them as much as possible and possibily find your romance interest. The main story is very engaging and is unique depending on the house you choose to play, so a lot of replayability value. The gameplay and maps are well done. The story takes place in a military school with three different houses, an amazing concept which reminds of Harry Potter. I love how the artwork and the portraits of the characters overall.

Mar 31, 2023
Just like its previous release, Nirvana Initiative offers a great compelling story and an amazing cast of complex characters. Dialogue and voice acting are top notch as usual and the philosophical depth of the game was really fascinating for me.

Great detective story with an event tree which reminds me of the Zero Escape : Nonary games since you are living every branching possibility in the story in order to find out the truth behind the mysterious murders. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition10
Mar 31, 2023
Great open world game with fighting sequences reminding you of typical police kung-fu movies where the good guy who is incredibly good at martial arts and takes down all the bad guys by himself, except here everything is even more violent and satisfying. The story is engaging, characters and voice acting are immersive. You learn new moves as you progress and you can use the environment to your advantage, Jackie Chan style. You feel like a true badass, like you are the hero of this kung fu movie.

Mar 31, 2023
Great turn-based tactical RPG with loads and loads of customization for your soldiers, even better than its previous release. There is a lot of different maps and types of enemies which make the game harder as you progress. I wish there were more types of objectives aside from attacking a base/payload or saving civilians, it can get a bit repetitive.

Great tribute to the manga and the story is very well reconstructed through the lens of this game. Mar 31, 2023
Very fun gameplay, as a fan of Captain Tsubasa, it was really satisfying to relive some childhood memories and play some of the most emblematic and badass moves in the manga, thats basically the main reason for playing the game. The story is very short but has some replayability with every football team. The soundtrack is very good, and every match is intense and challenging enough to get you hooked.

The DioField Chronicle2
Mar 31, 2023
Bland and boring, waste of money. The tactical gameplay and the artwork are the first things that made me try the game but then I realized after a few hours of playthrough that the mechanics of the game are very limited. Customization is almost non existent, you can barely call it a RPG: all it has is a skill tree for abilities and another for weapons. Some characters development make no sense and their motives are unclear. Story had a flicker potential, not enough to keep you hooked, and the ending is disappointing but still hinting at a sequel, which I found kind of insulting since this game isnt close enough to being worthy of a sequel. If you have other tactical RPG games to try, dont even bother playing this one, I only played it to the end to see if the gameplay would evolve at some point but it never did.

Days Gone10
Mar 31, 2023
Amazing survival horror game in open world, probably the best in my opinion, and the closest experience to the Walking Dead, kinda reminds me of Daryl Dixon riding on his bike and his crossbow. I enjoyed this feeling of riding my bike across large expanses of silent and deserted lands, looking for gas and scavenging supplies and ammo despite risks of encountering zombies or other scavengers wandering around, its really immersive and prompts you to play smart and stealthy otherwise lots of zombies will come your way and overwhelm you. You can also use that to your advantage in order to distract other scavengers while you make an escape. The story is engaging and the characters you meet are very well developed throughout the game. I will never forget the sheer panic i experienced when fighting or running away from hordes of zombies.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord9
Mar 31, 2023
Great 3rd person battle simulation with realistic tactics and RPG elements, where you want to think about how you position your troops during battles in order to make the most of it. I get the best feeling when Im riding with my cavalry and charge from the top of the hill inside enemy lines and tear them apart. This is definitely the only game that can provide me with such unique experience. The only flaw in the game would be its campaign mode which is absolutely bland and not worth playing since it only overwhelms you with stupid quests where you have to go accross the whole map just to take down an army, so its much better to play the sandbox mode.

Crusader Kings III10
Mar 31, 2023
Very complex strategy game with never seen before range of options to win your way to the throne, be it through politics, conspiracy or brute force, the most challenging aspect is to manage your kingdom and maintain power. Managing one's bloodine to make sure they stay in power or undermine other clans so they get weak, there is so many layers of strategy to make sure you stay at the top, even though at some point you find the best way of doing that, there is lot of mechanics that can turn things around like your ruler having bad traits or getting assassinated, and so on.

Valkyria Chronicles 48
Mar 31, 2023
Lots of improvements compared to previous releases. Characters are much more interesting and likable, the voice acting is adequate, the gameplay is fun and gives you enough options to manage your army according to their chemistry between soldiers. Some nice character development going on with side stories. But, i didnt enjoy fighting the same kind of boss with broken powers over and over, makes you victories feel meaningless, so boss fights feel like a chore more than a rewarding achievement.
PlayStation 4
Mar 31, 2023
Mafia III10
Mar 31, 2023
Great game overall, i think its one of the best games of its genre. It is not meant to be played like a GTA where you can just **** around and interact with everything, its an open world with San Andreas mechanics where you have to conquer districts after districts by taking down mob bosses one by one. I think the story is very simple but solid enough to make you root for the protagonist and destroy everything in its path like a true killing machine. The main story and sides stories are both worth playing, and the expansions add a lot of variety and fun to the standalone version. Capturing districts did not feel that repetitive since you fight in different settings with complete unique environment and sometimes some places where you wouldnt expect to fight. You can either go the stealthy or guns blazing. Also, the lieutenant system is very well made, especially how the lieutenants get jealous or angry when you dont give them the district which can lead to different outcomes.

Ghost of Tsushima10
Mar 31, 2023
Incredible story, magnificent graphics and landscapes set in Tsushima Island, you really feel the immersion since you roleplay as a fallen samourai looking to retake the land from the invaders. The main characters have great voice acting and their dialogue really pulled at my heart strings, the relationship between the protagonist and his adoptive father is absolute masterclass storytelling. The protagonist's constant dilemma between saving his honor as samourai and his will to protect Tsushima at all costs really makes you identify with Jin Sakai. You understand why he feels so conflicted and why he must do what he does. Combat mechanics is top notch. The soundtrack in this game is absolutely epic.

Wasteland 310
Mar 31, 2023
Great RPG game set within a post-apolyptic world in the US, heavily inspired by Fall Out New Vegas, the story is very straightforward but the gameplay is incredibly fun and complex, makes you really think about how to build your team in order to get the most out of every situation. The comedic and satirical aspects of this game are a nice touch.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life9
Mar 31, 2023

Yakuza: Like a Dragon10
Mar 31, 2023
I did not expect this gameplay which is a huge change from the previous Yakuza releases, but It was amazing and a great change from what we were used to play. I would never imagine this JRPG turn-based system to work so well within the Yakuza universe, but somehow it just does and in a incredibly triumphant fashion. The story is very well written and the plot keeps thickening as you progress through the game. The characters in your group are unique and have great personaiity that make you care for them, the side stories are comedy gold, the mini-games are entertaining, and the ending is the perfect icing on the cake.

Yakuza 37
Mar 31, 2023
New setting, new characters. I enjoyed this game a lot, not because of the plot but more because of the characters in the orphanage and your friends in Okinawa, it feels like living in some paradise island except it is tainted with corruption and yakuza plotting to take everything for you. The remastered graphics look decent enough, but you can tell this is an old game because of the very cranky animations and gameplay. Still had a good time though.

Yakuza Kiwami 29
Mar 31, 2023
My second favorite Yakuza game after Yakuza Zero, not only because of the new characters but also because of the new gameplay features, animations and environmental damage you can cause during the fights. Everything feels even more polished and the mini-games are even more fun than before. The story is still very good and engaging, with a cool antagonist and an interesting romance interest.

Yakuza Kiwami8
Mar 31, 2023
Great sequel to Yakuza Zero, I enjoyed it a lot, the fighting sequence is just as fun and satisfying. The character development of Nishiki was interesting but its hate towards Kyriu felt kinda forced and was not consistent with his character in Yakuza Zero where they had a true bromance. The final boss fight was more annoying than challenging, but the fight before that was rather fun.

Yakuza 010
Mar 31, 2023
My first Yakuza game and introduction to the series. After playing most Yakuza games, I can tell that this one is the best one not only because of all the incredible acting and compelling characters you encounter, but also because of the very satisfying fighting sequences where you beat the **** out of hundreds of yakuza just so you can beat the **** out of their lieutenant, with a badass background music. The seriousness and complexity of the main story is perfectly balanced out with the side stories filled with comedy which truly represent the spirit of Yakuza, a game that does not take itself seriously. You also spend a good deal of time in mini-games which help you take a break from the never ending beating you are giving to your enemies.

Resident Evil 39
Mar 31, 2023
Gameplay and graphics are just like RE2 remake, but instead we get chased by Nemesis. The story takes you through new maps around Racoon City but only through the point of view of Jill Valentine, and some through the one of Carlos, but its not like RE2 where you can play the entire playthrough with Leon or Claire, which makes the story shorter and replayability non-existent. I enjoyed the game playing as Jill and I'd rather have a short game but intense than long and boring at times.

Resident Evil 210
Mar 31, 2023
The atmosphere in this game is everything and really reminds you how horror games should be instead of never ending jumpscares. The graphics are very detailed, everything feels very polished.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age9
Mar 31, 2023
Never have I ever experienced such an engaging adventure, with such endearing characters and greatly structured story, one of the longest also. The soundtrack is amazing. The gameplay is really simple and turn-based but provides you with enough evolution and variety to keep you going for 100 hours of gameplay, since there are so many enemies and ways to defeat them. The only aspect I didnt like was the fact that your protagonist doesnt talk at all, no voice acting to give him some semblance of personality. When a NPC would talk to him with great voice acting, your protagonist would simply nod while smiling like an idiot. And also, I wish the game was not so "grindy" in the end in order to defeat the final boss.

God of War8
Mar 31, 2023
A true classic (slightly overrated) with great graphics, great story and amazing fights. But little variety of enemies and especially bosses. The skin customization is very minimalist. What I liked the most is the relationship between Atreus and Kratos, evolving as the game progresses and puts them into more and more challenging situations. The voice acting and characters in the game are fantastic.

Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition8
Mar 31, 2023
Really enjoyable road trip experience, really immersive overall as you explore beautiful landscapes with your friends, taking photos, eating at dinneries or camp outside. The fights are very epic and cinematic, especially boss fights. Soundtrack is amazing, graphics are stunning. The story however is very straightforward, and there is a part towards the end of the game I disliked a lot where you have to go up a tower floor after floor, killing the same enemies: it felt tedious and repetitive. The ending is epic.
