Overall, really boring. It's one of the most uninspired games I've ever played with an okay story, pretend RPG choices, basic combat that becomes mind numbing due to the dumb and unvaried enemies, and tedious repeat quests and map markers. The amount of loading screens and length was utterly ridiculous for this grind fest. The scummy store is is so blatantly gross I can't believe they got away with it. It's just so nothing, not an RPG, not an Assassin's Creed game, just eh. An idea of a video game that gets tired extremely fast.

Gave it a real go, but overall, extremely boring. I get the point is to explore a post apocalyptic world, but I've never experienced one so empty and mind numbing to traverse. Most of the game is walking or riding from place to place, only to discover the place is not even that fun. The world never gets more complicated or more interesting than the tutorial area. Maybe if the map was smaller it would be better. I love the total freedom and creativity allowed to solve problems, but that just wasn't enough to hold my interest, especially when a lot of the time you couldn't really apply it out in the world. Enemies and combat is repetitive, weapons always breaking kills any feeling of progression and it makes you feel like you can never really use your good weapons in case you don't find something good again. I just kept waiting for the game to actually start if that makes sense, but it never really did.

I really wanted to enjoy this game based on all the hype around it, but unfortunately what was in store for was me was a slow, boring, and confusing mess. Thrown into it with zero instructions and a lot of reading kills any momentum, clearly expecting you to have everything about DND memorized already. The combat is slow, tedious, and frustrating, not based on any skill you have but on random dice rolls you can't influence, which I get is a big part of DND but after missing five times in a row for no reason it takes the fun out it, especially cause in DND you're sat with your friends at a table so the vibe is so very diffirent here. Fine for a board game, bad for a video game. It's one of the worst turn based combat systems I've ever seen. Dialogue was not as free and impactful as you would expect it to be. The character creation was crazy over hyped. Everything about the controls and menus was super clunky and confusing. The camera has got to be the worst things I have ever experienced. The map is horribly done, only adding to the frustration and making it easy to get lost. Glad I stopped playing based on all the game breaking bugs I've heard about due to the terrible port to PS5 instead of finding out 60 hours in. It's so odd to me that the wouldn't translate DND into a video game (improving on it and really making it mesh with the medium), instead choosing to just copy and paste it when DND is already a game you can play.

This franchise continues to deliver in the most amazing ways, deepening all the game mechanics and world. The weakest part of the game are the collectibles with lackluster rewards and I found the DLC underwhelming, but the base game was just incredible. Excited to see where they take the story of Aloy!

An excellent way to spend to your time if you just wanna relax. Loved all that you could do on your own little island, even though endless games aren't for me, this was really fun. My biggest gripe was the 'one island per switch' which just seemed kinda scummy to me, but if you aren't sharing a switch then it shouldn't be a problem.

I think that games that challenge the norm are very important, and that even includes asking the question: do games even have to be fun? I think art should sometimes make us feel negative emotions. Unfortunately, in this case, the emotion this game evokes is boredom and makes me wonder why some people just don't make movies.

I love a game that lets you figure things out on your own and challenges you, but there is a limit. Some times I would figure what I was supposed to do and the game wouldn't work or it would be so convoluted it just took the fun out of it, making it more of an exercise in frustration. I love that the story pulls the rug out from under you and the game play can be really fun and satisfying, but it just wasn't a lot of the time. Also, I just ran everywhere cause the horse was so annoying to control.

A stellar game with a story and characters that always keeps you engaged. Pretending to be a cowboy was just so fun and I loved exploring the world as an old-timey outlaw. Arthur is such a great game protagonist. I didn't mind so much that a lot of the game was riding a horse because I could just ride off into the hills and the story more than made up for it in many cases.

Felt a bit like an expensive DLC, but not necessary a bad one. All the important parts for a video game were nailed, aka the gameplay, but some of the characters were just a little nonsensical to me as they made strange, confusing choices in some cases. Still a good time overall though.

It was really fun to pretend to be a pirate! The game was easy to jump into as a new player. The present day didn't clash super hard with simulation, but I would rather the fun part of the video game wasn't interrupted like that. It was just a good time.

Extremely difficult to truly become invested with the hole Joel leaves behind. None of the new cast are well written enough or have an interesting enough relationship with one another to really carry game. It also doesn't do much to improve on its game play and the writing choices in a lot of places can be really lackluster or bizarre.

One of the best linear games out there! The dynamic between Joel and Ellie is truly the highlight of the game and is what keeps you motivated to survive. It truly earns its ending with just how well it manages to make the player invested in their relationship.

This franchise needs to decide between being Assassin's Creed games or historical fiction games, cause trying to blur the line is doing more harm than good. For people who wanted to play a viking, they will be disappointed to learn that you cannot have any lasting impact on the world and the present day keeps interrupting the fun part. For people who want more from the over arching plot line between games will not enjoy what is relegated to the background for them or the fact that you don't play an assassin.

Snappy, reactive, and fun gameplay that never once lets up. Super fun and quick, making what could have been a boring loop into an awesome frenzy. I wasn't super keen on the platforming and the last boss battle was just not for me, but overall it was a good time.

Honestly, found the game boring. For a series famous for big crazy boss battles against gods, it was odd you fought very few. The game loop of fighting enemies was fun at first but it got tired quickly, which only worsened since it felt like I wasn't getting anywhere. They just kept moving the goal post.
