Mad Max

Mad Max the game isn’t only a fantastic time, it’s a great addition to the franchise, and one of the few games that completely destroys the expectations that a movie based game has to be bad.

Mad Max just breathes the atmosphere from the movies, though it has only a little to do with them. On the other hand the game offers nothing new and doesn't shine specifically. Still, it is a lot of fun to wreak havok across the immense desert.

So yeah, it can feel repetitive and a little mind-numbing at times but it might be the perfect stress-reliever. I say give it a shot.

Mad Max runs well, has a lot of content and the vehicular combat is fun, but the overall story missions get repetitive fast and it’s easy to lose the drive to play through to completion. I would recommend Mad Max as a rental or wait for a price drop.

Mad Max has the basics right and looks great, but beyond the first few hours it's a monotonous grind.

When it comes to simply chewing through yet another open world game, Mad Max does suffice. It’s a substandard but largely competent “AAA” game in a sea full of them, and those who do value the idea of content above all else will find more than their money’s worth here...There’s simply no reason to pick it up, however, if you’ve yet to try The Witcher 3, Shadow of Mordor or Batman: Arkham City. There are tons of better games that go for what Mad Max went for and do so in a superior manner.

One of the most underrated AAA games of all time, it's pure fun. Can't believe people buy crap and not this one.

Узнал о яко бы разработке The Mad Max 2 и решил вспомнить о первой части. Честно говоря, для меня игра Mad Max стала как и очень интересной, так и одной из ненавистных мне игр. Вот такое неоднозначное отношение к ней. Начнем с того, что это отдельная история молодого Макса не имеющая отношения к последним фильмам. Стилизация и вообще атмосфера на высоте. Авторы очень хорошо передали ощущения постапокалипсиса. Мне очень понравился геймплей за Макса пешего. По началу немного непривычно, но когда привыкаешь враги разлетаются в разные стороны как от взрыва. И всё хорошо и сюжет, и драки, и атмосфера самого мира безысходности, но... Начинаются покатушки на машинах и вот тут весь интерес к игре у меня исчез! Прохождение превратилось из интересного приключения в бесящую нудятину. Первые 2/3 игры на машине ездить не удобно, не интересно, гибнешь от одного пердежа. Пока не прокачал машину к концу игры я реально страдал на дорогах пустошей. Что самое главное враги то не меняются на протяжение игры, не в сильную, не в слабую сторону, какие были такие и остаются это ты криворукий. Сносил игру раза три, только чтобы не разбить телевизор от злости, так меня бесили эти сраные покатушки. Вот как так можно сделать один геймплей великолепным и в то же время другой до отрыжки неприятным и всё это в одной игре. Как будто пешую часть игры делала основная команда, а гоночную часть отдали заштатной дочерней студии где-нибудь в Камбоджи за копейки делать, на отъебись. И в этом вся игра. Я отдыхал, лазая по каким то свалкам и пещерам, обыскивая "крепости" и блокпосты. А затем страдал садясь за руль. На прохождение у меня ушло пол года! Сейчас говорят о выходе сиквела и надеюсь, что хоть фильм в основном про заезды на машинах, но авторы всё-таки сделают упор на пешей боёвке, а покатушки сведут на минимум или загонят в кат сцены. Хотя верится в это слабо..

Jogo tremendamente enjoativo. Joga e joga e parece que não sai do lugar. Não aguentei nem terminar o jogo de tão chato que estava.
