They had a movie and tried to stretch it out for streaming. I am so bored with that. If your story is two hours long, then tell it in two hours. Do not drag out every scene trying to make more content. That is lame, stupid and disrespectful. This might have been an interesting story but I was too bored to keep watching.

I have one positive thing to say about this show. It’s not as bad as Rings of Poop. Almost, but it manages to squeak past that abomination because I don’t mind some of the performances. Sadly, they have puss filled moldy garbage to deal with, but some of the actors do a decent job. Everything else about this show is atrocious, especially the writing. Septic Hideout **** at Star Trek. Star Trek needs to delete and forget everything Septic Trek and start over with new writers who both understand and respect Gene’s vision. It was Gene’s vision that made Star Trek special.

While the premise had potential, the execution is too effing slow. This is a short story they are trying to drag out into a five-novel series (going with the writing theme). Every scene is drawn out way past what is necessary to convey the point, then it’s draw out even further into absurdity. Boring absurdity. Boring absurdity. Boring absurdity. Boring absurdity. Boring Absurdity. See what I mean? I made my point with two words, but then repeated them four times to make more content out of little. This show is a blaring example of a tactic that plagues the modern “entertainment” industry. Too little story stretched, strained and over extended for streaming.

Too effing slow. Every scene is drawn out; every line of dialogue is spoken so slowly. And there are many segments where the camera focused on the actors doing nothing. No story, no characterization, nothing. It’s like they only had a little bit of story so they are dragging it out. I’m ten minutes into the first episode and I’ve learned very little about the characters or the story. Instead, I’ve only been bored waiting for the show to begin. It’s similar to waiting in line; I’m sitting here waiting for the show to start. Give me some story, introduce the characters and start the plot. I’m not wasting my time waiting on this boring crap. I have limited entertainment time and I’m not wasting it watching someone stretch a movie into a series. If you only have a movie’s worth of story then make a movie. You don’t have to stretch it into a series and make it boring.

Like a lot of modern shows/movies, they didn’t have much story and they tried to stretch it out with fluff and exceedingly slow pacing. Almost every episode felt like 20 minutes stretched into 45. And whatever they were going for with the weird camera work failed miserable. It was just annoying and stupid. But I will give the show credit for not being a sequel, a prequel or a remake, not being about superheroes from comics and adequate acting.

Obliterated was actually a decent show, especially by modern “entertainment” standards. Most of the characters are generic, but the writing is funny (in a Porky’s meets Airplane kind of way) and there is the occasional character twist. The plot is predictable with twists too, but the purpose of the show is humor, which they nail repeatedly. This show is more entertaining than most of what’s on these days. That it was canceled is awry. They’ll give garbage shows like Rings of Poop multiple seasons, but something entertaining gets canceled. Sadly, we are suffering through the dark ages of “entertainment.”

This has become a cliché. Nothing more really needs to be said, but since there is a word count minimum I’ll repeat more clichés. The writing is atrocious because HollyWeird is populated with incompetent buffoons, the plot is infantile and filled with holes, the characters are cardboard, dull and annoying, and the theme is ridiculous. It’s ok. Not great, but watchable. Considering it came from the maker of the abomination Rings of Poop, I was expecting it would be horrid. And Amazon made the garbage Wheel of Time show too. Amazon has a history of ruining established IPs. But Fallout was passable. The story was typical for the setting; anyone familiar with Fallout would recognize the standard plot. The characters were acceptable. I thought Ella Purnell was decent in the lead role and she wasn’t a total girl boss. At least they tried to explain her combat skills. Her performance was a little flat at times, but passable. Aaron Moten was decent. I liked his character’s arc, but his performance was sometimes unconvincing. Like Purnell it was a little flat. I wonder if this was more about directing than acting. Walton Goggins was excellent as The Ghoul, definitely the best character in the show. I’m a fan of Michael Emerson and would have liked to have seen more of his character. More Dogmeat please! None of the characters made me want to stick a fork in my eye when they came on screen, which was refreshing for modern “entertainment.” There was a little identity politics sprinkled in, but minimal compared to most movies/shows and it did not distract from the story. I probably would not have noticed it if not for the in your face saturation that happens in most shows these days. The ending was weak and really drawn out. Showing something slowly doesn’t make it more meaningful. Again, Fallout was ok, but not great.

Most of the characters are not interesting enough for the drama to be anything other than tedious and annoying. Cate is decent and Anna Sawai is doing a good job with the role, and I like Kurt Russell's Shaw, but the rest of the modern characters are bland, generic and boring. Well Emiko Randa isn't bad, although she has a small part. The flash back characters are ok although unidimentional. The show would be better if they did more with the monsters, the science and the mystery and less social drama, especially about Kentaro and May's relationship drama. That is just effing boring. Season one was decent. Season two crashed and burned. My primary issue is the pacing. I do not know why these morons in modern entertainment think scenes consisting of characters engaging in mundane activities while music plays is engaging story telling. Common activities they often choose include driving, preparing food and brushing teeth. I do not watch shows/movies to watch characters engage in mundane activities I do every day. It’s just filler material because they do not much story and need something to make up the run time. This became even more obvious when they started dragging out scenes. They ran out of story and had to come up with some way to fill up the run time. Boring. I, and I guess most people, have limited entertainment time and I will not waste it on boring. Another show with some potential went down the drain. People consume entertainment to be… surprise, entertained. Not bored, definitely not preached at, and not bullied. This is another “slow burn” that’s slow because they do not have much story so they drag out every scene to create more content. This is more like trying to start a fire with wet leaves. The only thing burning is your eyes. A slow moving story requires well written characters, an interesting story and/or a meaningful theme. Otherwise viewers will simply get bored. If you have bland characters, a dull story and no theme whatsoever, then the show/movie needs to move along so there’s something to keep viewers interest. I, and I suspect many people, have limited time to spend on entertainment and I'm not going to waste it on a dull, boring, slow series with bland characters and an uninteresting story.

Compared to most of what’s on TV these days, this isn’t bad. But it’s also not great and compared to some of the great shows from the past, the Quantum Leap remake is weak. I like the music (I’m a Bowie fan) and it seems like the cast is giving it a go, with mixed results. The same is true for the writing; it vacillates between decent and mediocre. I like the relationship between the leads, although I think the writing for Addison could use some polish. I think the cast is too big for the story. I like Magic and Ian isn’t bad, but the other characters need more personality which suggests the story could do without them. The writers could easily meld skill sets together and go with four characters. I think that would help the story and lower production costs. Effects have become expected rather than something that makes a show or movie stand out. The days of special effects being “special” are over. Overall this show is a pointless.

Season one was really good. Seasons two and three were decent, with a few exceptional episodes. Season four was horrible. Many episodes were gimmicks, the story telling watered down and they started inserting political propaganda. For these reasons I stopped watching the show during season four. When season five started I decided to give the show another try and I was glad to see they had shifted back to storytelling. Lowered rating because they started the goofy as camera crap again.

The writing is bland. The characters are cliché and dull. The “mystery” is not compelling. The acting is adequate but not inspiring. There is nothing here that persuades me to expend any of my limited entertainment time on this show. Maybe, if I was bored and had nothing else to do, I might run this in the background while I played a game or cleaned the bathroom, but this show did not capture my attention or interest. There is an entire generation of “writers” in entertainment who lack originality and creativity. Almost every show has the same boring exposition, meandering dialogue and pointless plots. It’s all bland porridge.

This is boring, stupid, smelly garbage just like I’ve come to expect from Marvel. I’m so tired of Marvel, super heroes and comics. Meladrama plus action plus CGI does not make an interesting story. Generic characters, cliché plot lines and uninspired dialogue are not worth watching. This is just shiny candy that gives you tooth decay and diabetes. There is no nutrition for the body and definitely nothing for the soul. All of these Marvel shows and movies are a waste of time and resources. One show at a time and one movie every five or so years would be plenty. But they keep making this boring garbage over and over.

Hollow plastic presented by a coward. It’s pretty, mostly, but has no soul. If they had called this Amazon’s dull fantasy story instead of lying about it being Tolkien, then it might be tolerable. But making a mockery of Tolkien’s work is unforgivable. Galadriel is one of my favorite characters from the books and what they have done to her is criminal. Guy-ladriel bears no resemblance to the character Tolkien wrote and was wonderfully portrayed by Cate Blanchett in the Jackson movies. This “version” is as snotty as the entitled white bread little girl playing the character. No acting going on. And the Elmer Fudd guy with pointy ears is pathetic. The scenes between Guy-ladriel and Elmer Fudd are a joke. The writing, characters and acting in this show are atrocious. The “hobbits” are stupid and obnoxious. The show would have been better without them. Most of the dialogue in the show is pathetic. It’s like something written for a high school freshmen dull writing class. To think thousands of Amazon workers had to piss in bottles so this travesty could be made. The show should not exist. It’s a waste of time and resources. Amazon could have done some good in the world with all the money they wasted on this puss filled pile of moldy garbage. Also, Amazon is a coward for blocking reviews.

It's disappointing they can't produce decent fantasy shows. Or decent hows of any kind actually. I like the fantasy genre but not this version. I'm not surprised because I hated GoT and did not expect to enjoy this show either. It's just high school cosplay.

Mediocre book ruined by the same group of high school freshmen writing almost everything on TV these days. Boring, mundane and yuck.

This is just another boring, loud, adrenaline seeking action show with cliché characters and generic plot lines. The current group of writers in TV and movies are incompetent and inept. Amazon should stick to losing packages, treating its workers contemptibly and sending billionaires to space.

This show is comprised of cliché characters and generic plot lines. The story is not interesting enough for a drama and the humor isn’t funny enough for a comedy. An unsuccessful blend. The current group of writers in TV and movies are incompetent and inept.
