It’s really nice to watch some simple, forward moving character development when there are so many other complex shows around that require you to watch with all of your brain power. That isn’t to say that there isn’t a lot to think about when it comes to Manifest, but the mystery and drama of the show have always been fun before they’ve been complex, and it’s good to see that it has stayed that way.

Its inquisitiveness and willingness to be bold and fairly uncynical given all the things it’s trying to be is more than welcome.

One of my first series I started watching on Netflix and it was absolutely superb from the start. The cliffhangers at every episode were great, and I loved how determined they were to help everyone even when times were hard. I finished the show in 2 weeks I couldn’t stop watching everyday. Absolutely incredible series and will be rewatching definitely soon!

Episode One is well-made and poses many more questions than answers. But you know the drill.

Manifest moves fast, but it plays like a ticket to nowhere.

It's always difficult with such concepts -- and perhaps this one more than most -- to see whether the producers can sustain enough interest to keep the show airborne.

All I can speculate based on the pilot is that either none of the characters on that airplane are interesting or else the pilot made a huge mistake in terms of which characters to lead with. The Stones are, simply, dull. They're very pretty, mind you. And they're very earnest.

The premise is certainly alluring, which is why it’s so disheartening to discover Manifest’s lack of imagination or intuition for what it might feel like, in the show’s lead example, for an extended family to be suddenly reunited. ... A viewer who might have been interested in the human element is instead served a cold plate of mystery meat--not the new “Lost,” but a feeble throwback to forgettable failures such as “The Event.”

The series is captivating. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. The story flows but also it leaves you wondering what will happen next. It is a 10/10 because it has a great story, for all ages above 10.

La série était bien au début. Pleins de mystère mais au fur et à mesure ça commençait à devenir long. La fin est extrêmement décevante et même incompréhensible. Ils ont clairement bâclé la fin car on leur a demandé. Tout ça pour ça.

Started strong with the first season, the had a low with S2 und S3, because instead of answers it was getting weirder and weirder. The religious parts were not mine. At least the end was okay but has left many questions open.

This show gets a 3 from me for the premise, which made the show sound extremely interesting. Take away that and it barely merits a 1. Some in my household found it interesting enough to keep watching and for that reason, I have seen every painstakingly awful episode of very bad acting and even worse writing. Aspiring/struggling actors must look at this show and say "I can't get work and THAT guy gets a role on a major network's TV drama?! I'm mostly talking about the actor who plays Ben, I'm stunned every time I watch and realize that a group of people watched him auditon for the part and said "yep, that's our guy" One critic nailed it with the critique that Manifest wants to be "This is Us" meets "Lost" and fails miserably. I loathe the emotional manipulativeness of "This is Us", but can not deny the writing and acting are consistently good, and sometimes excellent. As for Lost, Manifest can't hold up to even the late season Lost that so many people **** even close. I can only assumed that the folks who like Manifest have limited cable access and rarely venture out beyond ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox.
