Obliterated isn’t trying to be anything more than what it is, which is a fun show with a lot of action and sex. And it succeeds at that in spades.

Obliterated is such an amusing concept, executed with utterly reckless abandon, that it mostly steamrolls over is abundant excesses and the challenge of stretching it out over eight episodes. Proudly raunchy in a way that recalls Amazon’s “The Boys,” this series from the creative team behind “Cobra Kai” merits a toast, or in the spirit of the show, five or six of them.

wen't into this with the expectation of a funny, raunchy comedy and that's what I got. **** to watch with the boys and a couple of beers

Obliterated relies on its humor and charm to cover for its limited A-list star power and general lack of narrative momentum.

Obliterated is a delightful but frustrating watch, a square peg trying desperately to fit into a round hole. The cast has infectious chemistry, it makes creative use of its budget and its Vegas setting, and there’s enough raunch there to satisfy the whims of anyone bristling at how tame and puritanical mainstream media has become in recent years. But you have to sift through a lot of dead air, repetitive twists, and hazily-staged action.

While its talented cast does their best to liven things up, their contributions fail to keep Obliterated from being a boring and otherwise forgettable series.

The pace is so excruciating and the show so repetitive that by the third hour, nothing would seem more heroic than someone detonating the bomb and putting us all out of our misery. The characters may look and act like good old-fashioned American heroes, but taking a fun premise and making it this boring is pure villainy.

Obliterated” is a baffling, nearly unwatchable hodgepodge of nonsense littered with penises and explosives.

The critics don't seem to like this, but I found this to be a good watch, despite not having enjoyed many action flicks and shows in recent years. A good mix of comedy, hedonism and gratuitous violence. Reminds me of a special operations version of The Boys. Didn't go into it expecting much but was pleasantly surprised.

Some series are created with one simple goal: to entertain without asking for permission or forgiveness. Obliterated clearly fits that mold. Constant action, explosions, sex, crude jokes and characters permanently dialed up to eleven. It doesn’t aim for sophistication or deep character study. It goes all in — and at least that makes it **** premise is straightforward: a terrorist threat in Las Vegas and a team of agents who think they’ve completed their mission, only to discover the night isn’t over. From there, everything is excess — excess violence, excess vulgar humor, excess bravado. In that sense, it channels old-school action filtered through modern-day **** issue is that this tone works in bursts but wears thin over time. The humor is openly sexist and often deliberately crude, which can be uncomfortable if you’re not willing to meet it halfway. There’s little subtlety; the show favors shock value and relentless provocation. If you approach it with strong objections, it will likely lose you quickly. If not, it can be genuinely fun in **** cast has enough chemistry to keep things afloat, and you can feel the influence of the Cobra Kai creative team in its blend of nostalgia and exaggerated action. Still, the episode length hurts the pacing. The concept might have worked better in tighter, shorter installments. There is filler, and you notice ****’s not a prestige series, nor does it try to be. It’s loud, messy and unapologetically excessive. If you accept its rules, it’s watchable and occasionally entertaining. If you expect refinement, it may exhaust you.

DEI killed this show. When making a show that's supposed to appeal to men don't constantly put men down in the show and take them out of leadership roles and stick women in there and then put a bunch of gay stuff and mix in every color of the rainbow with ethnicities. Stay true to your Target demographic. Go woke go broke. We are so sick and tired of this Dei nonsense

This show should have never made it to production. Bad acting and even worse screenwriting. As someone who's lived in Vegas, this show and Vegas are fake as the concrete form sculptures used in the Venetian/Palazzo.

Just when you thought Hollywood couldn't produce a more disgusting piece of trash to ever befall one's eyes...they put this crap out. Obviously targeted to gay men that need to get their jolly's off looking at **** and faces in another's butt. Stopped after the 2nd **** eyes started bleeding. This is a great representation of the state of our country and what passes for entertainment these days.
