Прошёл Sponge Bob: battle for Bikini bottom 2003 года на эмуляторе gamecube. Это буквально самая культовая и всеми любимая игра про Спанч Боба, её надо было когда-нибудь пройти. Тем более это классический коллектофон, которых сейчас почти не делают, очень жаль что жанр умер в забвение. Игра очень балдёжная, классический детский платформер, сеттинг Спанч Боба идеально накладывается на жанр, куча приколов и всяких персонажей. Никогда не любил Спанч Боба, но даже я оценил насколько толково шутки и атмосфера с приколами перенесены из оригинала в игру. Графон на момент выхода порядочный, музон балдежный, но по большей части из мультфильма, куча прикольных локаций. Однако, чисто как платформер игра очень кривая, её как будто вообще не тестили, почти каждый уровень можно пробежать/пропрыгать непредвиденным разработчиками образом (буквально заскамить механики игры). Разработчики как будто вообще не проверяли что делают, и все уровни такие, я такое впервые вижу – очень плохо. Кому-то такое даже понравится, но это какая-то лютая безалаберность. Сравнивая с топовыми коллектофонами тех лет она не дотягивает совсем, но в целом норм – 6/10.

Had a fun time and really enjoyed the mechanics, abilities, characters and environments, but when it comes down to the actual platforming and the placement of the spatulas i thought it was lacking. I liked the boss fights because of their smart design and intuitiveness. The game as a whole has a really nice vibe and i still generally look back on it fondly

A well-made title with a load of personality. This is a no-brainer buy for SpongeBob fans, but platform enthusiasts can’t go wrong here either.

Now, a little warning for the kids, I'm about to **** this game so hard I'm gonna get stuntpoints and airtime for the tricks I be doing on it.
As the dearly beloved (Kingdom Hearts reference) follower might know, this game has the same jump sound as that one scooby doo game. An even more dearly beloved follower will know what was said in that review regarding nostalgia, but I have a counterpoint: "En Contaire!" like all my portuguese homies say.
Not only was this game influencial during my childhood (not sad), I still know every single part regarding the gameplay 15 years later (even less sad). If Sandy Cheeks was a real character, those cheeks wouldn't be safe anywhere (I hate you for thinking this is sad, get over it (gaming reference, bennet foddy!), if you know what I mean. I be spanking those cheeks with a golden spatula (Spongebob battle for bikini bottom reference).
12 street rag is the best song that was every composed in human history and it WILL NEVER BE TOPPED.
Now I can hear you hollering in the back "take the rose tinted glasses off!", buddy we can hear you, no need to scream, you're being loud. So lets induldge that guy, lets take the glasses off, what do we see? A 10/10 because glasses are just some schitzo illusion and arent real (unless when I say they are, looking at you Bam28).

I'm constantly amazed by the how much THQ and Heavy Iron got right -- this truly is like playing through an episode.

It's all not as bad as it could have been, but nothing you can't get from dozens of other games.

All the stages are based around areas in the cartoon like Bikini Bottom and Jellyfish Fields, but it's all so low-res and blurry that everything looks plain bad.

This is the best SpongeBob game and makes you really feel like you are in the world of SpongeBob it’s a very good game even today.

The new remake BFBB Rehydrated is bringing this great game back to life and I am hoping for the best. Pax East was fantastic! The press demo really impressed me despite being an old build. Played this on gamecube as a young one and I could be biased because I am huge spongebob fan. Judging without nostalgia I can say that this is definitely worth your MONEY MONEY MONEY!

This is the best game I have ever played. Unfortunately, it is SpongeBob and it was boring up until you get to kill the lobster in that one level. Overall I'd rate it 9/10
