I could go on and on about this game. Between 64 and Galaxy, this game is the best of both worlds and also my favorite 3D Mario game. F.L.U.D.D helps the gameplay feel more immersive. It’s fun, and has those sick island vibes I love about Wii Sports Resort.

Mario sunshine is a ok game but with awful flaws that make the game painful. Levels with no F.L.U.D.D is brutal. Mario is twice as more slippery then Mario 64 which is known to be slippery

Super Mario Sunshine can be completed in roughly 20 hours with nowhere near the 120 Shines hidden in Isle Delfino. Completionists will want to go back and get everything, and considering how addictively fun this game is, I wouldn't blame them.

Combine the wonderfully fluid control system, level designs that ooze the 'one more go' appeal and the fact that it's Mario, and you've got one of the best games in a long time and certainly the GameCube's finest hour to date. [Import]

To say that the camera in this game is atrocious is like saying being kicked in the teeth kinda hurts-it gives the person an idea about how bad it is, but it doesn't even begin to describe the agony in detail.

Honestly not a bad game. Most if not only the ragequit types of gamers say this game is bad so this rating is coming from somebody who sees games through no matter what challenge awaits me btw. Maybe not as good as Oddyssey but if this was somebody's top favorite on the 3D Mario side of games I'd see nothing entirely wrong with that take.

The premise and ideas behind this game are original, and the fludd is a great gimmick. However to me there is one BIG problem: it doesn't have the long jump, a move I deem mandatory in all 3d mario games. A big letdown for someone like me who wants to travel quickly without being limited by fludd's water supply.

I love 3D Mario games, but this one is a dumpster fire. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the level design feels so random and unrefined.
