You won't find a better looking DS shooter and it's engaging while it lasts, though your hands and eyes will hate you for playing extended sessions. [May 2010, p.57]
It's creepy, mysterious, and spooky, and while it isn't perfect by any means, it's a horror experience well worth your time.

Dementium II tem controles melhores que seu antecessor. O jogo é muito bom e divertido, mas o final pode deixar alguns jogadores decepcionados.

One of the best games i have ever played, on any system or console to be honest. The graphics are fantastic, especially for the ds, the story and game-play are fantastic, really, there is nothing bad about this game that i can think of. At some points it is pretty damn scary. I would recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of video games.

For a Nintendo DS game Dementium 2 is really amazing. The graphics are way over the average and the controls are running smooth with 60 frame per second. The short - stunning - experience is only clouded by the short amount of the time until the credits roll up the screen as well as the open ending.

While the first game offered a frustrating gaming experience that frankly defeated many gamers, DII has solved all of the previous reasons for criticism, providing a true horror gaming experience unmarred by mechanical flubs.

Not much freedom, and a lasting appeal that leaves much to be desired, but else, a notable FPS, smooth, brilliantly programmed and unique in its genre in the gigantic DS software library.

The game is dumb scary fun for starters it has some of the best graphics on DS and is amazingly beautiful for a game from the new developers Renegade KID and the game also will scare most people. The main fun element are the boss fights and the main scary element is the plot which has to be one of the best plots on DS so far. The interactivity is great and the voice acting is brilliant and compared to the fisrt one this is a god of ture horror gaming. The only main flaw is the game has not enough reward and difficulty levels are not quite balenced enough however replayability is also great and makes this game the most fun, scary, pretty, and intensly large games on DS and will be so forever.

Even scarier and more action-packed than the first. [June 2010, p.88]

Dementium II does a beautiful job improving on it's predecessor. It maintains the creepy atmosphere, the level of maturity, and the originality of the first game. However, the title is still plagued by a vague plot and annoying enemies.

Nintendo Life
Dementium II is a decent game with lots of interesting elements combined with a surprising amount of impressive technology, but sadly it just comes together in a very bland, uninspired way.

Eurogamer
To put it bluntly, Dementium II represents one of the better survival horror experiences on a system not known for its support of the genre.

GameZone
Dementium II desperately wants to be one of the big boys of horror, but it's hard to be scared of a modern game that barely looks and plays up to the standards of the original Quake.

Awesome. Renegade Kid has done one of the most interesting game of the Nintendo DS library. Scary, emotional, and a lot of stuff. A great story, great locations, great atmosphere. Seriously, this is better than Silent Hill 3, but not than the first and the second. This is phychological horror, and this is scary... not Resident Evil 5 ...

SummaryA sequel to Renegade Kid's Dementium: The Ward, the next chapter in this horrific story promises to take players even closer to the precipice of madness than its predecessor. Continuing the storyline from the original, Dementium II promises to deliver better visuals, more haunting audio, and sharper scares than its predecessor. [SouthPea... Read More
