Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition

Ultimately, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most remarkable games you can buy for the launch of the Switch 2. Firsty, because the port proves what Nintendo's console is technically capable of. And secondly because this is just a massive, excellent RPG that has matured nicely, indeed.

Despite some issues with the Phantom Liberty, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is a fantastic package filled with content that will give those who don’t have another way to play it or who want it on a handheld a game that has risen from the ashes to be what it should have been from day one. Cyberpunk 2077 still isn’t a perfect game, but it is an excellent one which anyone who enjoys the genre needs to give a second chance if its poor launch put them off.

Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition is a true achievement for Nintendo’s new Switch 2 that will pave the path for more next-gen AAA titles on this console. The game not only looks great but plays exceptionally well and being able to play Cyberpunk 2077 on the go is worth the admission price of Night City!

CD Projekt demonstrates what Nintendo's new console is capable of with a fantastic port that will serve as a benchmark for all third-party games coming to Switch 2. If you prefer to play on a handheld rather than a TV, this version of Cyberpunk 2077 lives up to its name: it's the ultimate edition.

Cyberpunk 2077 on Nintendo Switch 2 succeeds where few expected. Accepting the technical compromises required for this format, the experience is robust, immersive, and close to the console versions in terms of content. It was a risky bet, but it's generally a success. This port demonstrates that Nintendo's new console is capable of hosting recent AAA titles without relying on the cloud, which opens up interesting prospects for the future of the catalog.

Even though the Switch 2 version of Cyberpunk 2077 has some performance issues, especially with the Phantom Liberty expansion, there is still a great experience to be had. The game performs surprisingly well when you use the Switch 2 as a handheld, which makes this the best version for Cyberpunk 2077 on the go.

The Nintendo Switch 2 made the choice to add Cyberpunk 2077 to its list of launch games, and this was clearly not a good idea. Unfortunately, it's neither good for the console, which we know is capable of much better, nor for the game, which we can't fully enjoy as it deserves. The game is ugly, no matter which mode you choose, and of the 4 possibilities for playing it, only one remains viable and will still require you to make major concessions: Performance mode with the console in its dock. For the rest, it's best to pass. It's a pity, because this version of Cyberpunk 2077 makes excellent use of the feature that transforms the Joy-Con into a mouse, the sensations are very good, and as a bonus it includes the Phantom Liberty DLC and all the updates released to date. It was ambitious, and well attempted, but it falls flat. Asking gamers for 70€ and telling them to make concessions, at the very launch of a new console, is just not possible. So avoid it, unless you really have no choice but to play the game for a very long time.

One of the best games I have ever played that shows what a bleak future our country may be heading towards. I know that when the game first released it was utter garbage but I am very happy to see that they continued to work on the problems and have created the amazing game we see today. That is why you should never let marketing have any form of leadership, developers should be the in charge.

I was looking forward to this game and I was really amazed by the graphic and the world itself. It was quite fun for first two hours but then the struggles started. Controlling is so hard on switch 2 (only playable is joy cone mode but only for fights, car mode totally unplayable especially with shooting included), I dont know why there is no gyro support for pro controller. The game also overwhelms with basically too much of everything, within the city, durin the fights when you basically dont know what is happening. I can imagine this game on PC but for my switch 2, it is definitely not my cup of tea.

i dropped it halfway, haven't really felt the urge to pick it back up again. not sure what it is, but i just don't care how the story ends, the characters are deeply uninteresting to me
