This DLC could have taken a few more risks in terms of gameplay and new features, but that doesn't change the fact that Echoes of Sekigahara serves as a fitting farewell to one of the best open worlds of recent years.

Gears of War E-Day is one of the most important bastions right now for the Xbox brand and, although we don't think it will change the minds of those who reject the saga, it has provided a boost of energy for our old and muscular hearts. [Review in Progress]

TOEM 2 is a new photographic adventure that builds on many of the great ideas from the first game, whilst adding fresh ones. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it remains a little gem that draws you in with its good vibes, its charm and its unhurried pace.

The Witcher 3 Remastered brings us back to an RPG that looks better than ever thanks to the new graphical and gameplay features it includes. Perhaps we might have hoped for greater improvements in the latter area, given that this is a remaster, but that doesn’t detract from the fact that this is the best version yet of a must-play game.

Minecraft Dungeons II builds on the original with deeper gameplay and more fleshed-out RPG elements. It may not be the ultimate dungeon crawler, but it delivers plenty of fun for all kinds of players, whether you play solo or with friends.

The only real criticism is that, with this eighth installment, they played it safe. That is hardly surprising given the success of Ace Combat 7; naturally, they wanted to retain the players who came on board with the previous entry. Even so, this remains an even more refined—yet equally (or perhaps even more) epic—experience.

The wait was worth it: LEGO Batman: The Dark Knight's Legacy is another great port, whose only real drawbacks are that it doesn't go beyond 30 fps and lacks modes to achieve a higher frame rate. In every other respect, it excels, especially in its polished graphics.

FC 27 is just another instalment in the series. Nothing about this game is revolutionary, but if you can’t live without the ball, then you’ll find some interesting new features here, such as The Grounds, and gameplay that addresses several issues criticised in previous instalments.

Townfall is by no means a minor entry in the series. Scotland provides a setting that lives up to the legend that is Silent Hill. A well-written script and simple yet straightforward gameplay ultimately make for a first-person survival horror game that is as classic as it is enjoyable.

Diablo 4 arrives on the Nintendo Switch 2 as yet another superb port—both technically and visually—but it fails to reach its full potential by requiring a constant online connection, which is baffling for a console with a portable mode. And, despite having been available on other consoles for three years, it’s launching at a high price, with no option to purchase just the base game.
