Honestly, if the Low and High Rank portions wasn’t as polished and an incredible experience to go through. This score would be 7/8 margin just because compared to previous games, the rotating event quests, RNG investigations for RNG loot, reduced weapon and quest pool, and less challenging solo player end game. But, with the incredibly constructed world, incredible combat experience, and cohesive experience, the downpoints are more just demands for more content.
I won't rehash the problems I had with World simply because they make me profoundly sad. I wanted to like the game, I hoped the new direction would bring the series to a new level, but instead, the whole thing blew up in my face like a Marshmallow Peep left in the microwave too long.
Excellent add-on to the series is friendly to newcomers. Its world is alive and self-sufficient; therefore hunting is natural and catchy. The gorgeous graphics, along with the sophisticated monsters’ behavior make the great experience even better and you can forgive the absence of a more interesting story.

If you're looking for a game that respects your time, Monster Hunter: World isn't it. A huge part of the experience is repeating the same hunts over and over just to get materials with frustratingly low drop rates. The story is forgettable and feels like nothing more than an excuse to send you from one monster fight to the **** controls can also feel clunky and unresponsive, especially for new players, making combat more frustrating than rewarding at times. On top of that, the interface is overloaded with menus and tutorials that make the game harder to learn than it should be.While the graphics and monster designs are impressive, they don't make up for the repetitive gameplay and excessive grinding. Unless you enjoy spending dozens of hours farming the same monsters, this game can quickly become more of a chore than fun.

As a longtime fan of the franchise, I found this game exciting and unforgettable. Its impressive visuals, richly detailed world, and carefully crafted gameplay all show the developers' dedication and craftsmanship. My only significant criticism concerns the newly added hook system. While the core combat and item mechanics remain excellent, the hook can feel somewhat inconsistent and unresponsive when it comes to target recognition and execution. This occasionally interrupts the otherwise smooth flow of combat.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)
Moving to real consoles has paid off for Monster Hunter. The fifth installment is bigger, nicer and funnier (a bit). In addition, a number of free addons will extend the entertainment for another dozens of hours. [Issue#283]

It's difficult to imagine another game capable of drawing our attention like this one. Monster Hunter World is huge, captivating, challenging and addictive, especially if played with a group of friends. Capcom has improved so many things over the original formula, it's almost impossible to keep track. Seriously, there's no better moment like now to begin your hunting career.

The game that expanded the franchise to many fans across the world, and brought a huge development on the series, Monster Hunter World is an incredible 'Hunter'RPG. The game is filled with fun fights, lots of variety, and some of the highest replayability in a game. The monster and creature designs are some of the best in the industry, each carrying a uniquely designed personality, moveset, and sometimes even their own OST! Multiplayer can be a bit frustrating to set up with friends, but it comes with it's own charm, and adds a lot to the replayability with the multiplayer aspects. Overall, this game is a big recommend from me.

Making one of gmaing's most complex action RPGs accessible was a tough ask, but Capcom has pulled it off in style. Offline it's a challenge, online it's your new co-op obsession. MHW is already one of the year's must-have releases. [March 2018, p.76]

Monster Hunter: World scratches the itch for complexity, both in hunt for rare gear and skill with its weapons, but this time it’s a game that no one should be intimidated to get into.

Monster Hunter finally arrives on the new generation consoles. Its soul is intact: it is always divided in two main sectors, the preparation and the hunt, and it’s fun as ever. The hunts are long and secondary quests or activities, like collecting the pieces to craft armors and weapons, could take months. The monsters are now moved by the most complex and smooth animations we've ever seen in a videogame, but maps are not so big and interactive. Monster Hunter: World is a big step up for the series, not for the current videogames scenario.

Monster Hunter World is an incredible game, the new consoles have simplified many old gameplay mechanics and the gameplay has an enviable variety and depth. Too bad about the lack of true innovative mechanics and the technical aspect.

This is the ultimate Monster Hunter experience—pure, unbridled co-op hunting at its absolute best.

This game is just not for me. I don't like how hard you need to grind for the most smallest of upgrades. Just makes the game progress way too slow for me, at which point it's no longer fun for me to continue playing.
