Death Stranding is a phenomenal and groundbreaking game in many ways. There's so much to say about this game but let's start with the good: It looks phenomenal. The music is phenomenal. Setting, story and world building is exceptional - and the gameplay and systems are unique and clever. What keeps it from getting a perfect score is its execution in essentially all regards: The music is phenomenal as mentioned, but it's almost never played. Most of the time you'll hear just footsteps or rain instead of music. The setting, story and world building is convoluted, spammy and it takes a (very) long time for things pieces to fall in place (but when they do it's very rewarding). The gameplay and systems are also convoluted and the game is still throwing new things at you until almost the very end. So in the end, a very good experience that I can highly recommend to anyone who has the time to spare. You'll need to cross the country in order for this to be a worthwhile experience.

This is such a phenomenal game that breaks new ground and sets a new standard for the genre. Not only is the gameplay fantastic, but even more so the progression systems with pictos and lumina etcetera which makes it possible to build a variety of different viable gameplay styles for each character. On top of that, it features an amazing cast of characters and storytelling that is seldom seen in videogames, even though it can get quite convoluted and confusing at times. Did I say that the game also looks fantastic, is set in an incredible world and features some of the best music ever featured in a videogame? No? Well, I did now. I think the only way this game could ever be better is if they fix movement which in my opinion is too imprecise for the game to feature parkour segments. Oh, and perhaps be a little clearer in some parts of the story.

There's a good foundation in The Origami King with a lot of charm, good graphics, funny dialogues, good enough of a premise, good characters and good music - but it becomes too frustrating to play too often for it to receive a higher score. The puzzle elements are more often than not frustrating, and the collecting aspect (whether it's confetti, coins or collectibles) does not feel rewarding enough.

This game builds on the foundation of the original reboot game, and is in many ways equally good if not better - however it does for the most time just feel like more of the same and it gets quite repetitive. Game looks and runs good, story is good, gameplay is good. If you liked the first game, you're going to like this game as well.

The game plays well and there's a foundation for something good, but the gameplay loop feels so incredibly pointless. You go and loot a million things that you have no idea what they're for but they¨'re probably useful somehow so you loot them anyway, and then your inventory is full so you go back to store your loot and hope to not get killed while extracting. If successful, you can hopefully build stuff to do the same thing all over again. It doesn't feel rewarding at all.

From a gameplay perspective, BF6 has all the ingredients to be an excellent shooter. It looks great, it plays great and there's tons of different game modes. Unfortunately there's a ton of things surrounding the gameplay that ruins the experience to a great extent. My biggest gripe is that EA is forcing players to level weapons to get some arbitrary sense of progression which to me is a deadly sin because it automatically excludes those of us that can't pour every single evening into this game, especially when those levels are CRUCIAL to even be able to compete on the same terms. My second biggest gripe is that everything is so extremely convoluted - with micromanaging all weapon attachments and learning everything in the Battle Royale mode etc. And on top of this you have a ton of other poor decisions related to battle pass and other stuff that makes me unable to recommend this game, DESPITE it having great potential.

It takes some time to get into the game, but the more you play it the more you end up loving it. It's a fantastic game with great gameplay, great graphics, great story and great characters. It has complexity both in its gameplay and in its story. I particularly like the way the game deals with resources, weapons and weapons upgrades. I also like that you can approach situations in different ways and that it's not just about zombies all the time. Simply put - it's just a great game.

For the most part Fire Emblem Engage is an absolutely insufferable experience. It's a pain to play through - not because the gameplay is bad, but because quite literally everything surrounding the gameplay is absolutely horrendous. Let me explain: - The least engaging story I've ever played through - Absolutely horrendous characters. I can't even fathom how you can make up so many characters that although most of them look very good, they are so deeply annoying - all of them - so that you can't connect with any single one of them. - Miserable experience in-between battles. You run around forcefully doing things to improve your squad but all of these elements are just miserable. They are a pain to suffer through. - Dialogue is painfully cringe-inducing and there's unfortunately TONS of it, which wouldn't be a bad thing if it had substance but it doesn't. None of it. Most of it is just repetition on, and on again. - Way too much micro management even by Fire Emblem standards with everything regarding emblems and inheriting skills and all of that nonsense. Despite this the battles are good, graphics are good and cutscenes can be cool. So despite being one of the worst games I've played through I'll still give it a 4. Honestly, skip this one. You're not missing anything. You'd be better of playing through Three Houses again.

Star Wars Outlaws is a great game that was apparently plagued by certain issues at release which is unfortunate. Now, having just played through the game, I can't see any major issues at all. Some of the highlights of the game is the fantastic world building, the engaging story and that there's tons of stuff to do including missions, treasures, collectibles, minigames, space exploration and combat etc. I'm not a Star Wars fan at all but this game really succeeded in getting me hooked in the world, and that is in no small part thanks to the fantastic characters we get to meet. Kay is one of the best characters I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing in a game. The only real downside I can come to think of is that the game feels a bit too unpolished to receive a higher score. I experienced a couple of game crashes throughout my 40 hour playthrough and a bit too many other bugs for the game to receive a higher score (although none of them were major and gamebreaking in any way whatsoever). I for one am really hoping for more future content with Kay and Nix.

Even though it's a brilliant evolution of Breath of the Wild, it does lack most of the originality of said title and thus I can't say it's as good. It does bring about a lot of quality of life changes towards the predecessor and it still is a fantastic game in its own right.

It's a game that hasn't aged very well. I find it hard to fathom how this game can get as much praise as it has, because there are just so many better games to spend your time on than this. There are only two positive aspects of this game. The combat is fine and the music is fine albeit repetitive, but other than that don't expect much. The story is pretty weak, and it takes an extremely long time to get going - it isn't until about 20 hours in that things actually start happening. Before that you can just expect absurd amounts of filler content with extremely annoying characters - almost all of them, and cringeworthy dialogue. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone over the age of 13.

Hogwarts Legacy is in many regards an absolutely excellent game, but it could use some more polish to receive a higher score. Positives - Combat is excellent - Open world is awesome with many wonderous sights to see - Great atmosphere - Much to do in-game Negatives - A little bit too easy - Story is lackluster and dragged out - Many annoying characters

There's a foundation in this game that I really hope it successors builds upon and improves, but calling this game perfect is absolutely ridiculous. This game is super annoying to play because it's basically fighting for 5 seconds, followed by a cutscene, followed by running for 5 seconds, followed by another cutscene (introducing the enemy you'll beat down in 5 seconds) and all of a sudden an absolutely ridiculous puzzle appears. The story? Well, I'm only halfway through the game but so far I would say it's about as ridiculous as everything else in the game. The ONLY saving grace this game has is its combat which is actually very good.

Absolutely amazing game in so many aspects. Three things prevent it from reaching a perfect score: - Barebones story - Forgettable characters - Essentially forcing you to google stuff because the game can't be arsed to even give you a clue as to how you should proceed a questline (if you're playing in offline mode) Other than that, it's an absolutely amazing experience in every regard.

I'm a huge fan of JRPG's, but I honestly can't fathom how highly regarded this game is. For me, I can't say that it's much more than a mediocre game. It does have a solid foundation for JRPG fans and I was genuinly intrigued for the first 20 or so hours, but unless you love dragged out stories with lots of filler content, cheesy characters and weird japanese humour (like the "Throbbing King" enemy near the end that has a striking resemblence to male genitalia) I'd say there are much better games out there in the same genre. Don't get me wrong, there are elements where this game shines, but I just had a hard time getting immersed in the story and the games characters. Hopefully this will be improved in future Persona games. Good enough for a playthrough, but all I could feel in the end was a sigh of relief that it was finally over.

Spider-Man boasts great graphics, sound effects, voice acting and of course gameplay, but is lackluster in the story department - but I guess it delivers just about what you can expect from a superhero game. One good thing to know about this game is that it's INTENSE. Not only is the combat intense, but the whole experience goes for a 100 miles per hour from start to finish. Your phone keeps ringing and you barely ever feel you have time to go for side missions and pure exploration. I feel that for some people this may be anxiety inducing - it is NOT a relaxing experience whatsoever. I'm not a big fan of Spider-Man, but if you are - then this game is a definitive must play, and even if you aren't a big fan of Spider-Man you'll probably enjoy the experience as I did.

(Review based on the first 3 seasons). It's a fun game for what it is. Interesting weapons, good map design and fun gameplay are the highlights. Technical issues, somewhat imbalanced characters and weapons, and completely uninteresting characters and lore holds it back. Some would say that characters and lore doesn't matter at all, and I accept that point of view, but I personally differ and a game such as Apex Legends can greatly engage players by simply adding those elements in a good way (in a way that for example Overwatch did).

When playing this game, don't expect it to be Call of Duty or Battlefield or any of the classic FPS franchies. If you do, you'll end up miserable and uninstall it quick. Think of this game as more of a strategy game and less of a FPS game. With that mindset, you won't be sad getting your ass handed to you a million times (from absolutely "nowhere") before you get your first kill (or did you?). Looking beyond some technical issues and the fact that it's kind of wonky from time to time, I think the one thing that annoys me the most is the lack of proper player feedback. You won't know if you hit something or not unless you spend a lot of time playing the game (and it's honestly one of the most unfriendly game I've experienced for newcomers), and I get that they're going for realism and all that but the game would be so much better if they could just skip that part. Overall: Cool idea, but it wasn't executed right.

I don't know how I could give this game less than a perfect score. Is it absolutely perfect? No, but no game is. It is, however, a masterpiece. It reinvents the legendary Zelda franchise in a way that only Ocarina of Time has done before - and it does so beautifully. Positives: - Graphics are amazing. This really is a beautiful game. - Greatest game ever made with exploration in mind - Fun shrines and puzzles (though not particularly hard) - Great combat - Gameplay - The stamina bar might be the greatest addition to the game since 3D. It allows you to gradually explore the world while keeping the sense of freedom intact from first minutes to the last. Negatives - Great music, but there's definitely too little of it. - Tedious (but kind of fun) cooking system. QOL changes would be appreciated. - Weapon durability. I get the system, and I don't absolutely hate it, because it teaches you to value your gear in a way that you wouldn't otherwise - but they could at least double the durability and keep that same sense of joy whenever you find a new (good) weapon. - The ending was definitely lackluster. I was intrigued the entire game, which is why the ending left me feeling a bit unsatisfied.

Having played Three Houses first, and then Awakening I was excited to continue my journey with Fire Emblem games by playing Fire Emblem Fates (Birthright). Oh, boy, was I disappointed. The story is probably the worst story I've ever had to suffer through to play through a main campaign. The characters are the weakest set of characters I've ever experienced in a game - period. They're not memorable at all, in fact they're mostly annoying - all of them. The dialogue is absolutely horrendous - even for a 3DS game. The music.. Well, it's basically one song for the most part and that's a pretty good song, but overall it's pretty lackluster. How come I'm still giving this game 6/10 despite this criticism? Well obviously, the gameplay is Fire Emblem so it's good - just like in Awakening - and if it hadn't been for that, I would never, ever have played through the entire game. Also the cinematics look pretty dope.

I played through Fire Emblem Awakening after having played through Fire Emblem Three Houses, and if I had played them in the other order I would probably score this game a bit higher. However, after having played Three Houses first I can't help but feel how dated Awakening feels. The story is somewhat dull, the music isn't as good and the graphics... Well it's a 3DS, so I guess it's about what you can expect. The fights are generally very good but the game suffers from a dull story and lackluster dialogue. It's still a good game worth playing through if you're a fan of Fire Emblem though.

This is a fantastic game in so many aspects. It's gorgeous and the story is absolutely fantastic. It's often critized for it's combat, but what usually only from people who haven't invested enough time to master the combat. The games combat system may seem utterly simple at first, but it quickly grows very complex without you as a player even realizing it. It wasn't until about 60 hours in until I finally mastered the combat system (after quite a lot of googling) and by then the fights didn't have to last for ages (which they did up until that point). Up until that point it was really just the story that kept me going, but after that it "clicked". The only negative thing I have to say about the game is that the side quests are a drag. They're absolutely dead boring for the most time and more often than not simply not worth it. I think if they had fixed the side quests, and polished the game in some other aspects, it'd been an absolute masterpiece.

It's a game that's aesthetically pleasing and a game that is perfect for a handheld console but it's definitely not for everyone. Its lackluster combat and story keeps it from getting a higher score. It's also short (which is to be expected when looking at what it costs) and, at least for me, there's no replayability.

I still fondly remember opening a christmas present and finding Ocarina of Time inside, some 20-ish years ago (I think it was 1998). It is one of my greatest memories, and when I started playing the game I was put in a state of awe and complete disbelief. I was Link - in 3D. What a time to be alive. Still to this date, I haven't played a game that was as revolutionary as this one. It's an absolute masterpiece for it's time.

This is a great game. It's super fun to play, but it's a shame that it's barely playable because no one is playing it so the queue times are unfortunately too long.

This game lasted about a week for me, and then I realized that this game really is FUBAR and I uninstalled it. It wasn't terrible in every single aspect, but it wasn't a pleasant experience either.

Highly recommeded for anyone who's looking for a game to play with their family (if their family mostly consists of non-gamers). It's a fun, casual game for the most part with a fantastic selection of minigames. However, there are elements of game design in the game that I for the life of me cannot understand. Why would you ever put random elements (completely out of the players controls) at the end of a board game that decides who actually wins? It's absolutely ridiculous and something that should never have been implemented.

There's many things that annoy me with Civ VI, one of them being laughably bad AI - and I really mean laughably bad. I can't count the number of times I've laughed at AI opponents for acting really weird (like being my best friend one turn, only to be a sworn enemy a couple of turns later). Another thing that, at least for me, is completely unique with Civ VI is the fact that winning isn't fun - and what I mean by that is that it doesn't really matter. You don't care if you win or lose, because you know you could win every game if you just went for the science victory (which is just about the only reasonable way to win a game it seems). You don't play to win, you play just for the fun experience of expanding your territory and exploring the world. Overall it's a good game. It's a fun game to play with friends if you're looking for a more relaxed experience.

I can't find any reason to not give this game a perfect score. It's intense, it's polished, it looks absolutely fantastic and is extremely fun to play. It's the reboot the franchise deserved and it certainly elevated what you can expect from the Tomb Raider series.

You know you can expect high quality for a flagship Mario game, and this game is no different. It's a very polished experience with great visuals, soundtrack and gameplay (including coop gameplay). However, it's a bit too easy for my taste and personally I don't find any replayability whatsoever in this game which is a bit of a let down.

This game is okay, at best. Visually: It looks gorgeous. That's the absolute best part of the game. Audio: It's repetitive and kind of boring. Gameplay: It's a very short game that's way too easy for anyone that has ever played ANY game before. Overall: It's a suitable game for very young children, but not for any experienced gamer (even if you're a big Yoshi fan such as myself).

This game is an absolute masterpiece. It is an absolute must-play for RPG fans. It is also the only game I've finished more than once in the last 20 years. There's so much content, so much story to explore - and the music.. Oh, the music. It's absolutely amazing. Granted, the various activities around the monastery got a little tedious the second playthrough but luckily you can automate parts of that if you're not into that. Personally I really, really enjoyed strolling around and exploring the monastery the first playthrough at least.
