Edit: 190 hours in I achieved Platinum. You can call me M'Lord and the rating still stands. I completed every former Soulsborne game and came straight from Horizon Forbidden West to this one. After ignoring the huge technical fidelity difference between both titles it is like always: Technically not on par with current gen but the design aesthetics in landscape and buildings and monster make it look good anyway. I for 99% did not encounter frame rate issues, just noticed some in one particular area. I guess that got patched or people are exaggerating. I am currently 80h in and since I couldn't stop myself from exploring and trying every boss I found I am apparently at only 60% of content right now. From Software truly delivered what they tried: Dark Souls in open world works surprisingly well and you still got enough linear segments that are really awesome. I really dug the underground levels and all legacy dungeons so far. I cannot imagine what I want to do if I completed this game, I already play it almost everyday. The people that criticize the game design related to open world should watch some youtube videos why elden ring is actually making something stale into something very good, like Zelda did somehow in 2017. I actually want to explore every niche and never got bored! At horzon Zero Dawn I got bored (still ~very good game, just for broad masses) and it is obviously that Elden Ring does not nurture the obvious open world boredom. You need to explore by yourself and you will miss a ton of actually rewarding stuff (if you don't look at wiki :)) Also I think it is the best game for starting with a Soulsborne game for people that got scared due to the difficulty of former games. Not that it is easier, but you will "almost never" rage quit since the last checkpoint is never far away and you have multiple solutions and areas to tackle a problem. The exact contrary to Sekiro and Bloodborne (which I loved most actually). This is the game of the year to me, it is so huge and full of rewarding stuff and battles and I don't see anything that might top that in overall score. Just buy this gem, git gud and get lost in it. See you online fellow Tarnished and might we encounter each other at some jolly cooperation. (The unusual multiplayer concept works well as always.)

I never really got into rougelikes and really like don't like most indie game styles. BUT then my friend gave this as birthday present and it's actually an AA(A) title that looks and felt very good. I did not want to stop playing. The most astonishing part is how captivating the atmosphere is. You really feel like on an alien planet. Best play this with the playstation headset! Incredible sound. Also one if not the best Dual Shock implementation. I actually didn't die that much, I always played safe and took no risks and did like 14 runs in 20 hours until I beat act 2. I can really see why Sony bought that Studio and am curious what they'll do next. So in the end if you like shooting and are not afraid of dying/challenge this is surely worth it's money and is among the better, if not best PS5 Games.

First: The graphics are jaw dropping. THIS and Ratched and Clank show the power of exclusives. The water, the clouds, the variety, the details...unbelievable to see this on a console. I do not recommend the performance mode on this one since you loose too much of resolution on screen. And the loading times are a blessing! I spent lke 75h and did platinum trophy. So, the good thing is, this game completely negates all it's former criticism: The melee combat is now good enough and how it should have been at part one. Furthermore the cities, NPC and open world are brought to life. And of course you can swim and fly now which makes a overall nice package. Fighting the machines is done very very well. The bad thing is, the story is "just" continuing what was started in part 1 and there is almost no mysticismn or secrets anymore despite...*no spoiler*. This is mostly why it doesnt deserve a ten. I really dug the apocalyptic story part one when you unrevelled the **** now you already know 90% of it. Also in direct comparision to Elden Ring I have to say that Forbidden West caters to the masses and is highly subjected to the standard open world formular. So if you are tired of open world games you will get one one the best here but it might still get a bit stale here and there with the many generic stuff to do, later on. But it's acceptable if presented in such triple AAA style and it is often more addictive than not. It's probably the second best PS5 game this year and I can highly recommend it. But in the end it has to bow before Elden Ring, which is just simply a better game with a better open world desing (though not graphically). If you can afford it, just buy both and play HZD first :D.

I can imagine it gets boring now, but well it was for free. Bonus point: the OST ist kind of rock/hard rock/metal(core) which I rarely see in games and was surprised cuz its my taste! I am unsure if I should give this a 9 or an 8. For the sake of Nier and possible further games...9. I feel the need to complain, though this is a great story driven game with an awesome soundtrack. In direct comparision to Nier Automata, which I platinumed in 2017 and is one of the best games I ever played, Replicant is one step behind in absolutelely every aspect. Combat, story, characters(ok not emil), soundtrack, graphics, art style, level and general game design. But it's like comparing a 8-9 to a 10 in most cases. In the end, I understand the nostalgia and am happy to have had this kind of origin story, but not motivation for platinum trophy after seeing every ending. What I seriously cannot understand: I have to play it in 1080p without any AA on my PS5. I regret to not have bought it on steam....what a f*cking lazy port graphics wise.

In summary, I really enjoyed this game. The game design feels very nostalgic, no frantic movement, some calm puzzles, some basic but wellfitting cannonfodder shooter. Top notch atmosphere, I was scared quite some time! (That f*cking basement baby...) Excellent next gen graphics (4k60pHDR with RT), holy crap especially the cutscenes or the lighting in general looked so good. Excellent 3d sound due to tempest. As some probably mentioned, the last part of the game is a bit like call of duty but doesn't really drag the overall fun down. I completed it in 15 hours or so and couldn't stop playing! Buy it!

This is a good/ok game. I actually completed it and spent 90 hours. The first half of the game felt like a 8.5 and if felt entertained without much enthusiasm. Then the immense scope of the game lashed back and it's just all the same and a huge drag later on, so dropped down to a 7 in the end. I think it's worth its money but don't expect much besides doing semi-fun things in a huge beautiful open world over and over again. The raids and animus puzzles I liked the most besides the graphics. Yes it's better than Odyssee. I think the developers need to take a pause again and rework the franchise ****'s getting stale again. Was my 8th AC game I think.

Oh boy what a blast! GOTY incoming. I call it (Cyberpunk, Last of us this will be not easy for you). I don't care if this is episodic and they added lots of new stuff since this is so amazing well done. This game is on another level, and the original always was anyway. This is what FF15 wanted to be and didn't achieve: a 'Final Fantasy for beginners and fans'. Graphics: 9/10 Beautiful as hell, artistically and technically. Just some low res textures are ....not nice, but I guess they would've needed a third blue ray if they did that in higher res. So much variance though. Also quite low LOD for environment shadows and FX vegetation resolution. Well but all in all stunning nonetheless, 1600p in HDR is nice. Soundtrack: 10/10 Soundtrack of the year. Airbuster Boss OST made me cry in joy. Story/Character: 10/10 They made a stellar story shine like the brightest sun. The chararcters are so lively, true to the original and bickering all the time, they are portrayed BETTER than in the original. Did not expect that. The ending and ghostly additions might be debatable but they don't hurt the overall concept that's been told in the lovely dystopian Midgar. And I regard FF7 as one of the best stories ever told in gaming with my opinion still standing. Gameplay 10/10 The battle system ist just damn perfect balance of old and new. I love it and can't stop fighting. Anyone who misses the old turn based system for this is nuts. I just finished Dragonquest IX before this and I am pretty sure this is the new way of gaming. The boss battles are incredible. I wished for more summons though. Awesome level up system, nice mini games. Yes there are some generic filler quests, every rpg besides witcher 3 has, but If I start to lower my rating because of this I would need to give Skyrim a 0. It doesn't bother me at all and I did them all to get interesting new materia. Edit: Got Platinum Trophy on this guy and took me 95 hours. There is a hard mode after completing and it's highly recommended to play that game through again, some, not all, boss fights are getting really hard then....Hellhouse and Bahamut made me almost ragequit.

This was my first Dragon Quest (I play jrpg since snes times, I just skipped the whole Dragonquest franchise.) and allthough it's 'good' it will be my last. Don't get the fascination about this series. This game is so traditional it's both 'refreshing again' and 0815 close to borderline boring, sometimes. Level design is average, the fighting system is good but nothing new at all. Characters are lovely, the story is boring. Had to stop playing for some weeks after 30 hours to get my motivation back. Did beat it at 74 hours. Graphics 9/10 (1440p60p on max details). Soundtrack 8/10 with orchestra mod. Story 6/10 Characters 8/10 Gameplay 8/10 So if you are fed up with modern JRPG, e.g. Final Fantasy then this might be a nice change. I can recommend 3 better current gen jrpgs on the spot, in that order. 1: FF7 Remake, 2. Xenoblade Chronicles 2, 3: Persona 5

Together with Grandia 1 this is my all time favourite game ever. I think I even did complete it three times(over years) with 99 level guys and all secrets on PSX alone. Quite..strange to write a review 18 years after playing it. BUT I saw this mixed score and I couldn't believe what I saw. Are people stupid? Yes people are stupid. I can sadly understand why this game did not get out of FFVII shadow back then, because it hit a more popular nerve and being released on Saturn first. I was bored back then and rented this game 3 days and thought this game might appeal to me. Then got hooked so pretty bad by every single characteristic of that game, that I amassed rental penalty fees. Then I had to return it...next weekend I rented it again and faked being ill at school to be able to complete the most emotional, passionate adventure story with the most likeable main characters I ever witnessed in a game. This adventurous passion the game **** don't even get me started with the OST arranged at Skywalker sounds, best game score I ever listened to. Back then the battlesystem is also to be mentioned as revolutionary fresh and superb, THIS ladies and gentleman is not any game, THIS is not any JRPG. This game is the pinnacle of JRPG and for me even games alltogether with (FFVII quite side by side). I play videogames since 1989 across many platforms and those two games are on top of it all. If I would believe in God I would wish for a proper remastered version of this game (without doing much changes...). The 3-4 times I completed this game was not enough. Sadly the sequels are not even on the same level, but hey... Square also kind of failed FF series over time, so...

My god, for every EA game there are too many people who shouldn't be allowed to vote. Like in reality. I am no EA fan, but I played almost every Battlefield game and I have no Idea why the people don't like this. The teamplay is the best since, I don't know...This is better and more fun than BF1, in some regards even better than BF4 but the point is....I have to admit I like modern warfare stuff more than old war stuff. So nothing touches BF3 and 2 for me ever. So after 100 hours playing online without ever completing a single sp campaign (I wish they wiould stop creating single player for a multiplayer game, seriously!) I will make a pause now and wait for new maps and that battle royale mode in march. Glad I don't have to pay for a DLC this time. Though the graphic settings are pretty bugged for me (HDR fail and resolution bugs), this game looks still like the best I've seen up to date (thanx GTX 1080! => 1440p60p with HDR and settings on ultra). Glad I bought it for PC not PS4 pro this time. I only think there should've been 1-2 more maps for launch, or that Battleroyale **** **** comes in 2 months now. Let me do a summary for the whiners: - single player doesn't matter, never mattered once! - TTK whiner, get a life - historical accuracy, who cares this is a semi-arcade multiplayer shooter with just enough realisic elements to stay fun - if you hate EA this is no reason to hate a very good DICE game

My first smash bros since Gamecube version (played the wii and wii u version at friends a few hours though...). In my opionion nothing changed much, but the core gameplay mechanic is a foundation for the best beat'emup there is. No combat game has this variety and spatial, tactical depth. The sheer amount of fighters, stages, OST and nostalgia is equally impressive. The singleplayer mode seems boring to me and I found myself unlocking characters in versus...I also never really could recommend this game for casual gamers, because there is just too much going on onscreen, if you are not used to such stuff. Anyway if you like beat em ups, like nintendo, like switch, like videgame nostalgia, like games to play with friends on one console: this is one hell ****.

Top story, beautifully, extensively told. Huuuuge world with so much to do, that is totally on Witcher/Skyrim level, or even more. The Soundtrack is a straight 10 and the graphics are pretty amazing for that little switch, so much love went into the design. I always imagine if this game would've been for PS4pro or steam, on graphics term... Anyway, this is the best JRPG of this generation. It's better than Persona 5 in every regard and a perfect combination of old school and modern rpg. Eat this square-enix this is how you do rpgs!! The last and only GT I played was back on PS1 and it was quite the AAA title back then. This here now is a multiplayer racing sim without much content, but I was informed. The good thing though is the actual gameplay is very very good. The steering and the feeling on the road is impressive, responsive and real to all settings and racing situations there are. I had some seriously awesome racing hours online and was glad it didn't disappoint me there. The racing just feels good. That already makes it better than project cars where the steering is just unbearable with a controller (yes the steering wheel faction is the minority of players, get over it) What I don't like is the penalty system. The idea makes sense but you get penalty too often for situations you don't cause and vice versa. I also didn't liked the fixed time slots for online races and the duration of many time trials and races. Sometimes you just want a quick match and that can easily be 15-30 minutes depending on the race.... that's hard to get used to. If you know that this is multiplayer only and want a managable racing sim (not like project cars) I can recommend this. If you want offline racing and just some fun this is not for you. It is needless to say that forza is still the king of racing with their main series and their arcade offspring horizons. In my opinion forza horizon is the most fun racing game series of this decade. You can't get a better one. (Mario Kart doesn't count)

Finally a game where I can change every aspect of my avatars appearance AND name anytime I want, how often I want without earning the right to or be even able to in game. The combat is the same as in the main game, despite the magic and the buff slots on the weapons and their crafting. The loading times are a pain in the ass and the dlc is quite buggy I have to say. The "story" and events are totally clichee and it all comes down to grinding thorugh the events. The good thing is the combat is as addicting as in the main game so I spent 30 hours to my lvl 37 avatar right now and only one achievement missing.

I would give it a 8.7 so I rounded up. First of all I tip my hat to Ubisoft: They listened and took their time and effort to make this a game that looks and is very good and totally worth its money. What I liked in comparions to former AC: - Detailed huuuge world. Much effort here, Kudos. - The main character is quite likable executed - The combat system is like a simpler and easier version of Dark Souls. It's better than in any AC game. *thumbs up* - You actually have progress to your level to be able to beat the enemies. You cannot hack your way thorugh the story without leveling up. As a lvl 30 you can be one shotted by lvl 35 guys. You evaluate your enemy before you strike now. - You can dive and explore under water - The wildlife is awesome What I did not like or think it's "just the same as everytime": - open world fatigue sets in 'during' the game progression. Somewhere at 30-40h it just all didn't matteer anymore and I just wanted to complete it and get some achievements. - Despite the story being ok it's more or less the same as in every AC but strechted over 40hours instead of 15. - The present time / outside animus conspiracy stuff was poorly told and barely there. Best execution was in AC 3. - No sea missions besides those short fixed story ones - The later areas are far more interesting that the ones in the beginning. I don't know why I have to play for 30+ hours until there are finally bigger mountains and not only semi flat areas. Though I can recommend this game without a second thought I fear that the next installement will become a generic open world game, or let's say if it's the same like Origins just with a different world that I would not like. We will see. What I wish for deep in my heart is a highly story driven AC with a hightened focus on animus/conspiracy and with lot's of vertical gameplay. This is the seventh AC game I own and so far AC 2 and AC 3(I'm serious) are my favourite ones.

The only negative thing I can say about this game is that the combat is very very easy. I never had any trouble in any fight and you can just kill anyone and any mob in a mission to solve any problem. My favourite level was the wild train conquering action at the end, what a thrill. The more linear climbin level are good and that big open world chapter is also nice. Cloe and Nadine are believable written here. It took me 9 hours to complete and collect 55 treasures. You can argue if 40€ is worth 9h of gaming but I would say this addon quite shines and I had alot of fun.

I give it a 9 (8.8 if I could) but have to emphasize that it's not a masterpiece and the "gameplay content" is also more like an 8. Despite that Naugthy Dog surely delivers with a very well written and executed Indiana Jones like adventure. The graphics are impressive, the movielike cutscenes are perfect and there are ton's of opportuities to get on likable terms with those wacky dudes. The shooting action is good and better than in tomb raider. The climbing parts are good and I like the manually steering of the hand and the rope swinging. THe most fun I had with those totally wild action scenes like getting dragged through the mud and getting free hand where to go (that boat level) and Madagascar. The multiplayer is quite fun for some hours but not on the long term. I can understand many criticism about this game like being a clichee to itself and all those predictable buddy actions and the occasional feel of a walking simulator. Nonetheless I can not understand why some people can't enjoy this lighthearted adventure. The game is 13h-20h long and totally worth your money.

This game is a homage to all the LAN parties from like 18 years ago. This game looks crappy, almost everythign from combat to controls, horses feels clunky. BUT it is soooo hilarious to play. Having a medieval team death match or laying siege to a castle. I had so many laughs. You got several swords, axes, bows, crossbows, hammers, falchions, whatever, twohanders, shields, throwing dars, javelins, polearms. A really nice repertoire. If you want to have total chaotic mayhem and even like a little bit of teamkilling (oh yes you can do that en mass there) this is your thing. Now excuse me I have to take down horse riders with my doublehanded axe while being only in loinclothes, then I have to kick my teammate of the castle wall. If you see that game for

As a long time Zelda player since SNES/Game Boy times I was so incredible sceptical about this one. And everything I feared came true but I was also amazed: Negative: - The dungeons and bosses are way way too few, too short and too easy. The dungeons were always a landmark of game design. I completed the Dungeon at Death Mountain + Boss in 30 Minutes. The longest dungeon Gerudo Fortress + boss took me 1.5h. What the hell... - All relevant Link powers are basically available in the first hours of game time. There will be abilities to gain and some armor with special perks. No grappling hook in midgame or some mirror shield with which you can conquer new challenges. - The weapon durability feels forced. I can live with that because I got enough weapon slots but at first it was annoying. And I am glad my armor is not affected. - All negative points of open world RPG like Witcher and Skyrim do apply here. Meaningless sidequests and too many content that is just not important at all. - The shrines are good though and it is addicting to search for them, BUT I wished they would've put the effort to create at least half of the shrines into creating more and longer dungeons. - There could've been more enemy variants. - Compared to other RPG Zelda's story was always weak or let's say it didn't matter much but now it feels even more unimportant. Just the few hours you are occupied with the divine beasts and the memory hunt you get some story. OK but now to the amazing side: - Nintendo amazingly succeeded in building probably one of the, or the best open world I've ever seen. The game design of the world, the form, it is all so magnificient and you litereally can't stop exploring the next stupid hill, valley, cave, coast... - The world is so massive, I would not believe it at first. And it does feel real/alive, despite some peoples claim. Animals, Natures forces, enemy behaviour is all full of little good ideas and feels proper. - The interaction with that world is a nice and new touch, felling trees, using magnetic objects, doing literally what comes into your mind to solve the problem or advance further. You are completely unrestricted. This is very very good. - Link's ability to climb everywhere is the most enjoyable ability ever created in an open world game. I always moved through the world by climbing up hills then gliding down....I almost never walked the floor. - The game looks aesthetically beautiful and I am impressed what they did with the weak Switch hardware. Summary: - Does this Zelda break with the Zelda Tradition? Yes, heavily - Is the NEW Zelda style as awesome in it's own way as the past Zeldas ? Yes, definetly. - Is it worth buying a Switch for? Yes - Is it one of the best games these years ? yes - Is it the best game or the best Zelda game ever ? NO - So I give it a 9/10 because I am not blinded like all the critics and fanboys. - I am glad I saw some true good ol' Nintendo strength at play here. I adventured for 60h. I conquered all towers, went through each region and did what I liked, bested 61 Shrines, collected 90 Kokoro seeds, got the Master Sword and beat Ganon. Then I got bored because I feel no urge to search for all that endless seeds or the remaining shrines. But that is ok. If you want to collect everything here you gotta spend 100-200 hours here I guess.

This game takes about 6-8 hours and I can recommend it. The told story, atmosphere and the sound are impressive. I also like the combat though it is quite simple and feels clunky at first. All riddles are a bit tedious in this game and it brakes the rhythm, but that's more or less all I have to complain about. The first 2 hours I was not amazed with this game because it felt like a walking simulator but the second half felt downright awesome. The Gameplay mechanics are more or less basic but it there is so much creepy awesome stuff going on... I was mesmerized at the end. A celtic warrior plagued by psychosis battles with the gods. Personally the blind trial and the sea of corpses were my favourite parts of the game. Would buy again.

The negative critics and opinions are way too harsh and I think they probably didn't even complete the game. I was a fan of the original Mirrors Edge and bought this successor day one via hype train. This was my experience: First few hours of the game: - looks ok, sometimes good. But why does it not look as good as Battlefield, DICE ? - Is that short area here all of the map ? I hope not. - Genereic fetch and run quests....hmmm So I was a little bit disappointed by that seemingly wasted potential, at first. Then after some hours later into the game, after I unlocked 2-3 more areas and the story unfolds: - hey the music is nice, and this enw area has much cooler atmosphere. - running around is actually satisfying - those node riddles are awesome - combat looks good but is of course still simple and not the focus of the game. after 50% 100% of the game: - This is such a good atmosphere - I really like the the little rebel against the system story. It was told well withing the frame of this game. - eager to complete the story - sad when it all ended. Please give this game a chance the first quarter is just a 7 but then it migrates to a near 9 towards the end. There is no other game where you can explore a city with that kind of mobility. I was surprised I liked it so much in the end, again.

To make it short: This game is way too short. Gameplay is good, coop is nice graphics are good, online mode is a desaster. Sadly I bought this full price and completed it with mys GF in 6 hours and it was fun. Yet disappointingly short. Then I tried playing online and always got kicked from everyone and was not able to play at all. Then I put that game onto my shelf and that's it. Get it cheap at PSN store, thats ok. But no more.

There is one thing you will definetly not find within this game: fun. The tracks look and are boring, the cars and graphics are ok. I knew beforehand that this a hardcore simulation but the car controls are just torture. Imagine turning off every ABS, traction control etc in another racing game so that the cars are difficult to control. Now Imagine you still can't control them often enough with all helping system on. Welcome to Project cars. Having no progression in career mode is just wrong and no fun at all. I tried playing online and I found not a single race where guys drove automatic. And way too many **** kart races. Why is there no option or any people willing to go for a quick ride? Hell you can do that in every racing game... no you wait for eternity to just get wrecked in a manual race with **** cars (karts) I know those complaints can be summed down to I can play that game but I never had a problem with any racing games ever... so think there is something wrong here. I can not recommend this to anyone except you own a steering wheel and had fun playing Dark Souls with a drum from guitar hero or something like that. I seldom buy games and regret it but this one I did for sure.

Oh boy, this game surely divides opionions. I did Platinum on it though and my review is based on the release version in 2016. I rarely see a game that is good in so many things and yet fails in so many other things. In the end I had a lot of addicting fun yet I seriously need to complain about some things. Graphics 8/10: They overused post processing effects and eeverything looks a bit too blurry, even on PS4 pro. The lighting and character models look great as do some water effects. The scenery looks nice sometimes and sometimes too bland. Sound 10/10: The only thing this game does not disappoint a single bit: the music. One of the best OST of this decade of any game. Fighting system 8/10: Well, I was sceptical at first, but it the melee feels right. I had a lot of fun bashing Monsters. One subtraction for the **** up use of Esper and one point subtraction for the use of magic. Nice idea, yet totally **** Story 6/10: Having consumed brotherhood and the Kingsglaive beforehand I think the story is OK in general but the narration is sparse and it **** in comparison to almost all older FF. Characters 8/10: I am only giving them an 8 because I liked them. The charactes are poorly narrrated but they feel alive somehow. The main villain is quite boring. The emo look feels out of place even inside the game world. World 7/10: The Open World is quite enjoyable yet it is still so damn restricted that it is hilarious. The whole car stuff is and it's controls are barely bearable. The Chocobo makes good of that though. The second part of the game where it get's linear is mediocre at best. And chapter 13 is the worst of any FF game. So let's say spend 40 hours until you go on that ship and you will enjoy this game. Afterwards... Post game content 8/10: You can have some neat stuff there. Yet some of the new dungeons are qite "mad" or bad. Going 4 hours downstairs ... well what a fun. If you are a Final Fantasy veteran like myself you really have to create an open state of mind for this one to be able to enjoy it. I did and I enjoyed the game until you take the ship to the more linear experience. Then until the post game content I was in constant disappointment. I hope they take their time to redevelop FF 7 remake away from this style. So many bad decisions square enix. Your were lucky it is partly fun.

This game is the best way to show of your PS4 pro and HDR TV. If you are fortunate to have one you will be constantly in awe. In addition to the graphics the game has a very good and catchy OST, a good believable plot with decent main character but forgettable sidecharacters. Exploring the world and claiming the wildness and it's robo-animals is highly addicting. The sidequest are more or less boring and getting all weapons is a bit too easy I think. The combat system itself, with it's diverse ammo types and exploring weaknesses and believable robo AI is very good. Though the the melee part is almost non existant/sloppy. In the end Horizon does not do anything new, except the robo animals in a post apocalyptic stone age setting, but almost everything is triple A in this title and it delivers. Since I noticed the Platinum trophy is quite easy here I spent the time (50h? ) to do 100% here. One of the best games this year. Though Nier Automata and Persona 5 alone are better.

A worthy conclusion to the Soulsborne era. It did not impress me as much as DS1 or Bloodborne since this was my fourth game in that series. Though the amtosphere, the level/monster design is as good as ever. Pro and Contra in comparison to former titles: Pro: - The seamless multiplayer component and netcode reaches it's apex in this installement. Never had more fun ruining other peoples plays or the other way around. The covenant system works well and you can always have a good fair duel. And the community rocks! - Technically the most beautiful Dark Souls (artistically Blood Borne though) - It sticks to what Fans love about Dark Suls and truly delivers (this is rare today) (- Most accessible part of the franchise) Con: - There are some bosses that are quite easy, but at least their presentation is awesome and fearful - There is not much innovation and everything feels a bit too familiar sometimes. This is a must play for every RPG fan, PS4 owner and of course DS lover. Praise the sun and thank you Miyazaki.

This is still a good game, yet I can't understand why it received those scores in comparison to all other Soulsborne games. I loved DS1, 3 and especially Bloodborne and their addons I have Platinum Trophy in the latter 2 of them and 200 hours in each title. Except for DS2. Reasons: - Level design is mediocre - Bosses are mediocre - When it came out it looked somehow worse than DS1 - In summary it is often boring and tedious. You can really tell that Miyazaki did not direct this game. The core DS mechanics are there so it all "works pretty good" yet the DS flair is almost gone. I only completed this game for the sake of completing it. To my shame I did not even want to start the DLC allthough I heard it's way better than the main game. Some people think DS 2 is good because they focus on online PVP and are spending too much time dueling/doin builds. To me Dark Souls is not about that, that is just an extra feature. Though i consistently enjoy the seamless multiplayer invading stuff. I can't recommend this game for everyone or DS fans. You might wanna rent it first or get it cheap.

This was my first Persona and I had now Idea if I would like it. But since I like RPG, JRPG and anime I thought I can't go wrong. Well to be honest the first 10 hours I did not understand why everyone was so hyped about this game, it was OK/good and I had to adjust to the style. After 20-30 hours I started to really like the story and characters. This was a very slow start but after seeing the ending at 103 hours I was sad this journey ended with all these lovable characters. I have to compain though about the length of the game. I think I would have liked the game more of they would have shortened every of those long ass dungeons by maybe one hour each. Traveling down to Mementos was also quite boring. I think they should have fit that game into 60 hours and made all other stuff post game content. I also didn't really like this forced linear time management at first. I think it shoul have been possible to use more time on a single day....that was annoying sometimes. On the other hand the fighting system is very very good and the style together with most of it's OST is also very good. The graphics are just OK to be hones. This game is certainly a niche game and I can understand if a lot of people don't like it but if you are into JRPG or you carry an affinity to japanese stuff this is for you. And it's one of the best PS4 games of you look at it objectively, though personally I liked Nier Automata more (GOTY !!) . Currently I am into Zelda somewhere and that order my change. But right now not. Summary: Story: 10/10 Fighting System: 10/10 Characters/10/10 Graphics: 6/10 Art-Style:10/10 Sound: 8/10 fun/playtime ration: 8/10 game length: 100 hours Summary: 9/10 mixed feelings in the beginning but super rpg in the end.

I was a fan of Wipeout when the series had it's prime on PSone. The first Wipeout was a milestone in gaming. The last one i played was Wipeout 3, so I never played any of the game in this collection which made it quite attractive to me. Over the years I played all other anti gravity racers like Extreme G1-3 and several F-Zeros though. Anyway: Pro: - Graphics on ps4 pro +s 4k hdr tv are incredible. This is an example how to do a remaster. - Controls are very good and responsive - 3 games...3 times the tracks - Online gaming for all 3 games. - Fast paced futuristic action racer with weapons Negative: - The music is 80% trash. what is going on with techno music nowadays? Do yourself a favor and use spotify and choose a trance radio. Wipeout should use fast and energizing trance music. - If you completed all 3 career modes and had some fun hours online it get's stale. But always good for a quick ride. - these zone modes are not my thing...they should have done more tracks instead (back then) In the end it's probably one of, if not the best action racing game on PS4 right now and I can recommend this blindly to any PS4 owner.
