But as a child this game was a pretty magical experience for me. The variety of levels is matched by very few games, the music is awesome and so memorable and for a children's game the world is very atmospheric. It would be a huge shame if we never saw a reboot of this game at some point.

I am addicted to these games. Nothing else has nailed the a balanced in game difficulty like this. It took me a while to get into the swing of it and of course rage quit 1000 times, but there is no equivalent in gaming to beating a section of Dark Souls after struggling on it for so long. The map is incredibly intricate and linked together beautifully, and the areas are impressively varied and creative. I love Dark Souls.

Still technically and graphically proficient though and was enjoyable.

This was my first SoulsBourne game so admittedly I have my biases and have played all of the others since then and admit the original is probably the best with all things considered. The world isn't as linked as DS1 as Lore-filled as DS3 or as atmospheric as atmospheric as Bloodborne, but it is still a beautifully crafted world with a challenging but balanced difficulty. A of of people complain about the quantity of bosses, but in my eyes if the quality of the majority of the bosses is good and creative (which they are) then what is the problem? The DLC's are a great addition as well, so trust the critics on this one. It's a damn good game.

The only downside to this game were the controls could have been better. This problem was rectified in the future games. It's a game that doesn't feel at all rushed, you feel you can explore it's universe at your own pace and is probably the best sci-fi computer game story of the decade.

The time travel story allowed the creators use an endless well of creativity when designing levels and characters. The story is funny and the time periods nailed thanks to memorable maps, music and characters. There was also so many challenges to get through that felt more rewarding to perform well in as unlocking and collecting characters became addictive. The multiplayer was also incredible. MAKE TIMESPLITTERS 3 FOR THE NEXT GEN PLEASE!!!

I was a child when this came out and loved the artwork and characters. The music is catchy and cool. Still a lot of fun today.

Even though it would obviously look and feel dated now, I remember feeling genuinely scared of the enemies and the missions being creative and shooting realistic. The sound effects are still great today. It felt you had been put straight into a real life history lesson and clearly inspired thousands of games.

They are so well balanced and are completely addictive. This is arguably the best one witha completely different, darker aesthetic from the others. I hope for more games like this soon.

The already likeable characters are furthered upon and you find yourself really caring for them. I played this recently and it still holds up today.

Maybe now it's the new generation of consoles we'll see a full length version with the same elements of mystery scattered throughout...

Opting for outrageousness over realism, SSX Tricky kills it. It's easy to get into and feels different from snowboarder to snowboarder. SSXT is a lot of fun.

Very innovative action gameplay and even after I'd completed the game I wanted to carry playing going from area to area finding new ways to trick the guards and complete objectives. I also enjoyed the main story, while I'm not sure the open world layout is the best for the MGS series I think this was made the best it could have been.

It's the best beginning to the Metal Gear series I could have asked for. It pulls all the characters and storylines together and like all MGS games there was a lot of care put into the gameplay elements to make this as realistic as a game has ever been. Even now the injury system, stamina bar and the way camo system works makes the game feel possibly the most real action/adventure game there has been.

The action however gets very repetitive and when I found out the amazing content/ideas that were taken out of the final cut and I was very disappointed. This game could have been one of the best. I preferred this to Bioshock 2, but its not on the same level as the original.

But for a stealth based games this addition to the franchise is really enjoyable and creative. Definitely the best Splinter Cell game.

Then one day when I was bored I gave it a second chance and as soon as I understood the game it became one if my favourites. Still probably my favourite in the franchise. Any game as simple as this that can captivate a 10 year old must be pretty spectacular.
