The first game that immediately comes to mind when you think about the Xbox 360. A game that doesn’t need no introduction if you know ANYTHING about Call of Duty. A video game that is an improvement over its predecessor in every way, shape, and form. An absolute beast of an experience that is unbelievably hard to truly explain in simple terms.A campaign that is an epic follow up from the previous game, a crazy fun spec ops mode that is really satisfying to get three stars, and of course, that legendary multiplayer. Yes, it was broken. Yes, it had Noob Tubes. Yes, it had the overpowered streaks that led to the Nuke. Yes, the guns were wildly unrealistic. Yes, it was absolutely terribly balanced. But, if it isn’t the greatest multiplayer experience in franchise history and in gaming history, I don’t know what does. Oh, and this game makes you understand that not everyone can absolutely be your friend because betrayal and destruction is all what these powerful figures want. A titan that perfectly represented the cultural landscape of how these online games shape up to the current generation, Modern Warfare 2 is an absolute tour de force that is unlikely to be replicated ever again in Activision’s history. Modern Warfare 2 is THE Xbox 360 game. It gets a perfect 10 out of 10 for me. An absolute titan in the gaming space that perfectly exemplifies why simple Call of Duty is turns out for pure perfection. What a masterpiece.

If the campaign's story was shaped better and made more sensible, and if the online Perks were just a tiny bit more balanced, this would be a near-perfect game, no shadow of a doubt. As it stands, however, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is an utterly stellar achievement that knows exactly what its audience wants, and delivers in abundance. Truly, this is the biggest game of 2009.

The previous installment was great, but this installment of Call of Duty puts the previous to respectful shame. Packed with the best visuals you've seen on the 360 and fantastic gameplay, you'll have a resonating experience like no other.

At first, it may seem as MW2 is not able to surpass or even match its predecessor, but thanks to a mindblowing second half of the singleplayer-part and a solid multiplayer, it’s nevertheless an amazing experience and a definite "must-have" for every shooter fan.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is must buy game. Infinity Ward, despite innovating the game, had listened to the players, taking the best features of the prequel and adding something new.

The single player stages are much too linear, the co-op missions are reused from the single player campaign, and the main multiplayer deathmatch style modes are very unbalanced, especially for new players. But like Uncharted 2, MW2 is like an insane action packed movie that you can participate in… too bad the game’s heavy use of scripted events make the player feel like they have do not have any control regarding the out come of the final experience.

I had fun while playing this game with friends, it is undoubtedly exciting and fun to play. I mean who doesn't want to get to the highest level to get the highest selection of guns and demolish your friends? However there were many many many many more downsides than upsides. The online multiplayer was full of prepubescent little boys claiming each one of them has f**ked my mom. They also threaten to hack your account and get you banned, because they all seem to be hacking geniuses...*sarcasm*. The campaign was not as bad as those little **** but I can tell you it was close! You spend the whole campaign trying to chase after this makarov guy, and when you get close.... WOOPS INTERUPTING SHEPARD COMING BY! This guy comes out of nowhere and kills you! and why you may ask? oh yeah... so they can make another game! so in the end you throw a knife in this shepards eye, and you know what you achieve? nothing! the whole campaign was a complete setup for the next game! well done activision!
