Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is much worse than the original. Combat is still very poor and actually even less fun than in KCD2, general gameplay is very tedious, and the writing is absolutely atrocious. I also don't agree with the new direction that the developers have taken with the series, mostly because it does not fit the setting and also just doesn't make any sense at all. This game is not historically accurate, it is historically inaccurate. Lastly, many characters have been retconned to behave completely differently in comparison to the first game, and it is just mind boggling. 1/10 stay away at all costs.

The atrocious art style is making my eyes bleed and the gameplay is pretty meh. The dialogue and puzzles are severely lacking the charm and wittiness of earlier installments, and otherwise all I have really been doing during my playtime is revisiting locales and talking to characters that we already know. From what I have seen, RTMI is more of a reimagining of Monkey Island, than a new game. The developers are creatively bankrupt. Stay away, Monkey Island fans.

We waited for seven years just to see how everything built up in the previous game has been completely and utterly destroyed. You can really feel how the developers hate this world, despise everything that they built in TLOU and couldn't care less what fans think. The gameplay is also really lame unlike in the predecessor. I was wondering how they pulled that off, until I realized that Naughty Dog has a turn-over of over 70 percent, which means that any talent that had worked at this once great studio has long left for greener pastures, where the company culture isn't disgustingly "woke" and there is no endless crunch. How could Sony have greenlighted this garbage?! HOW!!!??? This game is so appalling and frustrating it should have never been made. Rabid far-left SJWism has destroyed a once great game developer and it is a shame to see. Sony should do the right thing and shut Naughty Dog down. They are done, nothing good will ever come out of this studio ever again.

TLDR: Worse than Pillars of Eternity. Atrocious systems design and combat. Baldur's Gate Trilogy still does it better in every thinkable way. Obsidian learned NOTHING. The setting is very interesting, but the combat, systems design and gameplay in this game are just atrocious. Gameplay in Pillars of Eternity was only mediocre, but somehow Obsidian learned nothing from making that game and made Tyranny even worse. Combat is so sluggish, boring and not tactical - all you really do is spam abilities and wait for them to cool down. The systems design is probably the worst and most uneven I have ever seen in an RPG... have the people who designed this ever even played a CRPG or PnP RPG before!? 3/10 but only because I liked the setting.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

User ScoreFuzi0n
Nov 18, 2014
Dragon Age: Origins is a fantastic game. Dragon Age 2 was a disappointment, but was still playable and somewhat enjoyable, despite it's significant problems. Dragon Age: Inquisition, however, has so many problems and major design flaws which make it the worst game in the series by far. The worst problem with this game is probably the combat, which has been completely overhauled and doesn't resemble combat in the first two games at all. The game is designed around using a controller in 3rd person mode and mashing the buttons while letting the AI control the other team members - this is no joke. Remember when BioWare promised deep tactical combat with a tactical camera mode for those who like tactical combat? Well, forget that, because tactical combat is completely broken. The transistion from 3rd person mode to tactical mode is not fluid, the camera in tactical mode is awkward and hardly usable, not to mention that you can harldy see the action that is taking place on the battlefield in this mode. This probably wouldn't bee too bad, but the problem is that you can ONLY issue commands in tactical camera mode for some unexplainable reason. It is hard to believe, but even in Mass Effect you have more control over the battlefield and your companions than in this successor to Dragon Age: Origins. The tactical mode has apparently been shoddily tacked on solely to appease fans of Dragon Age: Origins or Baldur's Gate, but it wasn't designed to please them, it was designed to make them shell out cash for this game by deceiving them with false promises. Tactical combat is so frustrantingly bad in DA:I that you are eventually forced to give up playing with keyboard + mouse and just hook up your Xbox 360 controller to the PC, then mash the buttons on the controller while letting the AI control your companions. The button mashing combat isn't even any fun either, and is probably some of the worst combat i have ever seen in a game, the game plays like a really (really) bad MMO. The console centric inventory UI is also terrible, even for console standards - another worst in the series. The story is very lackluster. Characters are boring, even returning ones. Crafting is just a complete broken mess. The world is beautiful and the graphics are fantastic, but it is such a shame to see this all go to waste with such bad game design. DA:I simply doesn't feel like a Dragon Age game, it doesn't even feel like a Bioware game. After 3 bad games in a row and 5 years of EA ownership, I can honestly say that BioWare's game designing magic is definitely completely gone and that this once legendary studio is truly dead. Bioware (better said, EAWare) is not a seal for quality anymore, it is a brandname that you might want to avoid in the future.

A huge step down in writing from season one. The story often feels extremely unauthentic and unbelievable, the characters are shallow, and character interaction is bland. I did like how Clementine's character was given more attention and how her braveness and inner strength was procured to the player. I love Clementine and I shed cheers of joy when I saw her, but the game slowly went downhill after the introduction. The writing is just not doing her character or the series any justice. It is quite obvious that the game is being driven solely by the momentum of the great first season of the Walking Dead, one of the best games ever made. I am rather disappointed and can only hope that the writing improves. 7/10, but only because I love Clementine.

It really hurts to see them leave the group or even get killed. This game is one of the best games I ever played, definitely in my top 3, and has the best narration of any game I have ever played. I will try to sum up how bad this game is: 1.) The story ****, actually is practically non existent 2.) 85% of the game is made up boring fetch quests 3.) The game is level scaled. When you level up, then the enemies do the same 4.) The game is simple, even a 6 year old could play this. It is not challenging at all 5.) The RPG elements have been dumbed down so far that they are now practically non existent. This game is just a standard hack and slash 6.) 98% of all caves, dungeons, etc. are 100% linear. There is only 1 path, thats it. 7.) The inventory system is HORRIBLE. Bethesda can sell millions of copies of this **** game, but they just do not have the professional pride to actually design an efficient inventory system. 8.) There are no challenging or super powerful enemies 9.) Money has no value in this game, it is worthless. 10.) To level up your skills (alchemy, blacksmith) you have to grind so much, that it is ridiculous. 11.) There are no super powerful items in the game. The best items can only be created by your character (with generic ingredients) 12.) Exploring does not reward you in any way. It is just a waste of time. 13.) Companions are only good as mules, because they are **** 14.) The Dragons are a joke. Simple and way too many of them. 14.) Potions are worthles (except for crafting items) because the game is not challening at all. 15.) You can find everything in abundance, there is nothing rare in this game. 16.) Why are worthless plates, cups, goblets etc. collectable? All they do is clutter up your inventory and are totally worthless! --- I could go on forever. It doesn't matter though. This game is horrible, it is the pinacle of bad game design dumbed down to a level so that **** can play it. This is a rather short DLC with little combat. It was basically just created to try and answer many of the questions about the reapers that were never answered, but it also raises even more questions and in some respects also contradicts the ending of Mass Effect 3. It is easy to notice that the writers are trying to fix the horrible ending that we had in Mass Effect 3, although they obviously (and purposly) left many questions still unanswered... we will probably get little snippets of info over the next few DLCs. ^^ This DLC is not worth 10$ imo though, seeing that it raises just as many questions as it answers and is also rather short. The only interesting part of this DLC is the last 5 minutes anyway - The rest of the story in the DLC is just "filling" that is not very well written and as such does not even make much sense (the writers had trouble trying to write a path to Shepards destination). It would probably be better to wait until they finish all they DLCs and but them as a package at a reduced price.
