The first Iron Man was such an excellent way to begin the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's a great origin story movie for the hero in Iron we all love today. Robert Downey Jr's performance is top notch and he does a great job of being the character he is in this film. This film masterfully blends action and comedy very well and it's a lot of fun seeing Tony Stark trying out his new Iron equipment and getting it to work. You have other great performances and there is even a cool fight at the end, even though I wish the fight was a bit more climatic. The first Iron Man is a must see for all Marvel die-hards out there!

I absolutely loved The Lego Movie! This is a very creative and very fun movie with a witty story and really good humor. I liked the animation style in this where everything was Lego including not just structures but like water and fire and things like that which was so creative. I also love how the animation is shown to look like it's stop motion which was very unique and I actually prefer how the animations shows those limitations with how Lego Mini Figures move over how they smoothly move in like a cut-scene of a Traveler's Tales Lego game. I also love the characters in this movie and the cameos they make, it was so fun seeing different Lego properties come together in this movie. The plot does have some simplicity to it, but it's still a fun plot and is actually not to be taken that seriously, but in a good way. Overall, I loved The Lego Movie. I remember seeing trailers and stuff for this movie back in late 2013 and at most expecting this film to be just good like nothing special but nothing too bad, but I barely expected to fall in love with this film. This film's amazing and one of my favorite films of the year. Go see this movie, this film is excellent, it has some big laughs and it's a whole lot of fun and I think anyone can enjoy this film whether they are a kid or even an adult!

After being a little disappointed in Frozen, I was glad that Disney was able to recover themselves with Big Hero 6. This film is very beautifully animated and has a very entertaining story surrounding. I like how this film felt kind of like a mesh between Marvel and Disney films and it worked remarkably well. I love the whole city, San Fransokyo, since it combines both San Francisco with Tokyo; it worked as a very cool environment for the film. The characters were a fun bunch, I especially liked Baymax, he was very funny and he is one of the biggest reasons why this film is excellent. The whole group of scientists, that befriend Hiro, is also a cool group of people. Some of them fall under a few cliches but they are still fun to be around (their whole "lab" room was also cool, I liked the inventions they were creating). The story is pretty cool even if it was a bit predictable at times; seriously, don't have your expectations too high for the movie's villain. Despite, some minor problems, this film has a great story, there are even some pretty emotional scenes in this film I must say. This film is great and probably one of Disney's best films in a while. I also wan't to congratulate this film on winning the Oscar for Best Animated Film of 2014, even though I kinda liked The Lego Movie and How to Train Your Dragon 2 a bit better (sorry).

Frozen is an adaption of the Hans Christian Andersen story, The Snow Queen, however since it's a Disney film you know it's going to stray from it's source material. But that's not a bad thing because Frozen is still an entertaining film for what it is, however I didn't really find this film to be as enjoyable in comparison to some of Disney's other films. But I will still give my verdict on the film. First off, the animation is great as always even though I will still forever miss the charm that traditional animation has. The characters are enjoyable and I like how they are fairly relatable when compared to some Disney characters in the past, despite some characters being good I also think there were some characters that we could have done well without; In fact the main villain of this movie was very disappointing and probably my least favorite Disney villain of all time now. The story is also fairly good but I do think it was a bit shallow at times, and I did notice a few plot holes here and there. Some of the songs in this film are good but there were others that I felt where trying to hard to be like some of the more classic Disney songs but ended up not doing as well of a job. Now despite my criticisms, I do like that this film's moral is a bit different then other Disney films but really it's not enough to make me like the film anymore than I already do. Overall this film is good but I felt that it could have been much better and I really am not looking forward to this film's sequel. This film has also been called the year's "best animated film" but I would actually prefer some other animated films that came out this year over this one like Despicable Me 2, Monster's University and The Wind Rises. Despite my critical feelings towards this film, it will definitely entertain your children and some adults with the Disney charm that it has.

With the first two Lord of the Rings films being so amazing to where they were basically masterpieces, the bar was really raised to the highest peak for this third film, but Peter Jackson delivered. The Return of the King is an absolute cinematic masterpiece and quite possibly the greatest film that I have ever witnessed. Every single time I see this film, I feel absolutely awe-inspired afterwards. I never felt that this film dragged on too much, every minute of it felt special even though this film is 200 Minutes long. The action scenes are at it's best with this film, you will captivated throughout this film's fighting scenes and other perilous scenes. Everything else that also made the first two LOTR films so great are also back plus more. However, the climax is phenomenal! The Climax of this film is probably the greatest movie scene ever made in my opinion and arguably worth the price of admission alone (even though the first 2/3rds of the film are still fantastic). The Climax is extremely emotional and meaningful and I love it! I really can't think of a single thing about this film that is bad or even mediocre; IT"S THAT GOOD. If you are a movie lover then do your self a favor and watch The Lord of the Rings trilogy. All three films are Masterpieces and this final film will not disappoint, guaranteed.

While it's probably my least favorite film in The Lord the Rings trilogy (even though all three TLOTR films are almost equally amazing), The Two Tower is still another masterpiece that should not be overlooked. If you felt that The Fellowship of the Ring was rather light on action, then SEE THIS MOVIE because it has action and excitement in it that definitely feels like an improvement over it's predecessor. This film also introduces Golem (even though he did have a few minor appearances in TFOTR) and Andy Serkis did a fantastic job portraying this corrupted and messed up character. This film does just about everything right, you will be captivated the whole way through despite the film being around 3 hours long. The only thing that makes this film probably the one I love the least of the three (even though I still adore this film) is the fact that it still feels like a middle chapter making you feel a little annoyed that not all will end here. Luckily, we have The Return of the King to fix that all up. See TTT, it's a fantastic action-adventure fantasy film that you don't want to miss.

I love all three Lord of the Rings films, they all flow so well together and they really build up such an epic and amazing story. The first film definitely starts things right with the trilogy, It may not be as action packed when compared to it sequels but it's still solid entertainment, and when the action does happen it's really a lot of fun to watch. This film also feels so magical and you will almost appreciate this film's lighthearted feeling once the sequels start taking darker turns. I remember already being in awe of this film near the beginning when Gandalf first enters the Shire just because of how cool the Shire environment is and mainly because of the beautiful music playing in the background. The characters are also very likable, each one feels unique in a certain way. Overall I would highly recommend not just this film but the entire LOTR trilogy to anyone who likes good films about epic adventures and fantasy settings.

So far, the worst out of the POTC series, but I didn't hate it. It just feels like some of the fun and "magic" of the first 3 pirate films felt missing. Depp is still good at being Jack and that can also mostly go to the other returning cast members; some of the newer cast additions were fine but nothing special. I did like the locations featured in this movie, but the story felt a bit lacking. TBH, I didn't think Pirates 4 was terrible, just not the best and I hope they try to do better when Pirates 5 comes out in 2016.

Now for the record, I went into this movie not knowing what to expect; I have never been a Godzilla fan nor have I seen any Godzilla films prior to this one, but I came out of it actually quite impressed. I enjoyed seeing all the Godzilla action and the fight scenes between him and those other creatures that appear in the film. I will warn you that Godzilla will not be seen in this film that much, in fact there is a lot of teases in this film where you think you're about to see Godzilla in action, but then it would get cut off. I will say that the scenes that involve human drama though are actually good and there is even a pretty emotional scene near the beginning. I do hope that if this film ever gets a sequel, that it will have more fight scenes in it, but for now I do want to say that this was good even if you felt that the "main star" didn't feel like the main star. If you can deal with that one flaw and actually try to engage with the decent human drama, then this film will be enjoyable.

You can say what you want about this film, but I found it to be an enjoyable experience and a great way to end this trilogy. Like the predecessors, TDKR is full of a lot of intense action and thrills; I though Bane was a cool and intimidating antagonist, Christian Bale was good as always. One thing I didn't like this film (and this flaw also applied to a certain other superhero movie that came out the following year *cough cough*Iron Man 3*cough*) is you will not see a lot of Batman in this film, but a lot more Bruce Wayne which kind of through me off a bit; also the ending is a bit confusing (and maybe a little rushed). Aside those things, Nolan's 3rd Batman flim was pretty enjoyable.

While it's most certainly not as good as the first two films, POTC: At World's End is still enjoyable which both it's action and it's humor of course, however this film may have been a bit "overdone" in my opinion. I mean this was one of the most, if not THE most expensive movie ever made costing a whopping $300 million to make! Not to mention both the story and drama are a bit on the edge, and not in a good way. This film is also pretty long, almost 3 hours long actually. So while this still was enjoyable and had it's moments, the crew for this movie should have just calmed down a bit while making this film, but I still can easily recommend this to fans of the film series.

When I first saw this film, I was pretty surprised at how creative the story was; in theory, when you first here what the story is, you will probably think it's pretty generic, but this film has a lot of creativity to it combining it's superhero/super villain genre with comedic elements; there are even a few pop culture references to this film like Superman and Donkey Kong and probably a few others. If you could use just one word to describe this film, it is pointless. Just a worthless sequel made with probably some of the weakest story telling ever. There was a lot of cliche things in this film that felt so pointless and stupid; the characters also didn't feel as memorable in this as they did in the first Cars, they just felt bland and also that addition of making Mater like a secret agent or something, that's just not fitting for the Cars series really when comparing this to the first film. It's a shame that Pixar actually made a film like this, I mean PIXAR! The company that has made so many masterpieces like the Toy Story films, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Wall-E; now this, Pixar's first film that's only point was just to sell a bunch of toys. I would not recommend this film, after seeing this I was hoping that Pixar would never do something like this again, well apparently they inspired The Planes series, which looks terrible (luckily they are not making those) but it doesn't stop there, Pixar may have pleased a lot of fans announcing The Incredibles 2, but while doing that they also displeased us by announcing Cars 3. This is not Pixar, I remember when every film Pixar made was great and had no intention of just existing just to make money, but to also tell amazing stories. While Pixar isn't completely doomed today (I did like MU), I just wonder if they'll ever make a new film that actually has quality and lives up to their oldest and most classic films.

It has a lot of great references to different video games out there like Sonic the Hedgehog, Pac-Man, Tapper, Super Mario Bros and many others! Of course it's not just the references that make the movie brilliant, I also thought the story was fantastic, it had some good humor and a lot of "heart" to it. I do agree with a lot of people with the whole fact that this movie may have spent a little too much time in the Sugar Rush game; I would've liked it if they would've just explored other different games. Of course I understand that Disney couldn't just pull references out in every nook in cranny probably due to the copyrighting section of their budget. But I love what this films offers, I think that anyone could enjoy this game even if you are not a gamer. It so great to finally see a movie about video games that is actually good, because there are so many video game movies made out there that have been epic fails, but Wreck-It Ralph is a huge exception.

When I saw the first Hunger Games film, I enjoyed it but I went into it without reading the book at all. So I made sure that I read the books before the next film came out and I enjoyed the book enough to where I got really hyped for the Catching Fire movie and it was amazing!! I enjoyed this movie so much and it was a lot better than the first Hunger Games movie. It had some great drama and suspense to keep me captive around the action scenes. The locations were also cool and I liked that they seemed more open and fleshed out in this movie than the first film. The characters were good, the acting was good, everything in this film is great. This is a one of kind film that I think sci-fi and dystopia fans will really enjoy, even if they didn't read the book.

I never read the book, but I saw the movie anyway and I thought that it was alright but nothing all that great. I will probably read the book eventually but not anytime soon. I just wasn't all that captivated at some points, but I do think that there was some pretty good action from time to time. I would probably only recommend this movie to fans of the book.
