Cars 2 is a misjudged Pixar film that delivers shocking spectacle while being very entertaining along the way. Cinema just like the first Cars movie.

Definitely in my opinion as Brad (from the company apple) I would say this movie is the greatest piece of cinema ever released. The simple presence of Finn McMissile has dramatically improved my personal, financial, and love life. From frame one I knew I would come out a changed man and this movie did not disappoint. Don’t ever get me started on the soundtrack, my Spotify wrapped said I listened to 103 days straight of this soundtrack (second only to Chaccaron by El Chombo). Mater is a real role model in my daily life and I strive to be like him everyday. LIGHTNING MCQUEEN WAS SO MEAN TO MATER but when he learned his lesson he made me (a 58 year old man) bawl my eyes out (yes I did get surgery to get them back in). Cars 2 is simply put the greatest experience one can have in their mortal existence and redefines what it means to be human.

Not to get all Dorothy about it, but when it comes to Cars, there's no place like home. The emotional punch of the original is inextricably rooted in the movie's appreciation of off-the-beaten-track America, and all that homegrown vintage car culture signifies.

Cars 2 looks fantastic, but the studio has never given audiences - especially audiences over the age of 10 - less reason to be emotionally invested in the beautiful shiny things flying across the screen.

My Review – Cars 2 – 10/10
I gave Cars 2 a 10 out of 10 because it’s an action-packed, fun, and visually impressive sequel that expands the world of talking cars. The international settings, spy-themed adventures, and new characters make it exciting and entertaining from start to finish.
The animation is fantastic, the humor works for both kids and adults, and the story keeps you engaged with plenty of twists and fun moments. Even though it’s different in tone from the first movie, it’s just as enjoyable and full of energy.
This is why Cars 2 is a 10/10.

Carros 2 é um filme visualmente bonito e com boas cenas de ação, mas que perde muito do que fez o primeiro filme ser especial. A decisão de transformar Mater no protagonista e mudar o tom da franquia não foi das melhores, resultando em uma experiência apenas mediana. Por isso, minha nota para Carros 2 é 6.5/10.

Uff. Lasciando stare il worldbuilding e il reparto tecnico, questo film non ha proprio senso di esistere. E rendere Cricchetto il protagonista è stata la peggior tortura a cui poteva sottopormi. Riso solo un paio di volte nell'arco dei 106 minuti che si prefigge. Come già detto, una tortura. Consigliato? No.

Фильм очень не однозначный. Очень далеко ушел от "классической" первой части. Вроде бы есть сюжет, но он реализован чертовски ужасно. Есть огромное количество абсурдных вещей в сюжете. Нет не какого "удовлетворения" от концовки фильма. Особенно сценаристы переборщили с Mater, хоть он и подходит под сюжет, но это слишком. Сомнительно смотрятся РУССКИЕ имена у бандитов, я понимаю, что это имеет место быть, НО НЕ В ДЕТСКОМ ЖЕ МУЛЬТФИЛЬМЕ. По итогу, фильм задал себе высокую планку, которую к сожелению не смог достичь. Возможно, я слишком серьёзно отношуть к Cars 2, это потому, что считаю его как для детей, так и для взрослых. Данный фильм предназначен только для детей, по сравнению с первой частью.
