I really like this game, despite its flaws. When I say flaws, it’s more like missed opportunities to capitalise. Hacking is fine but they could have done so much more to make it a real personalised experience, letting the player customise their experience to suit their strengths beyond just modding for extra %damage or defence ect. Enemies could have offered a more unique and environmental strategy than just the same hack and smash. Still, where this game thrives is in the “dad” experience. The game knows this because the main character gets weirdly protective and dad like way too quick. Should have been a more gradual progression with a turning point to instigate. So the Devs know that this is their strength and went too hard and too quick at it. I have enjoyed the game though and has been great for an hour or two between Crimson Desert runs.

The game is actually excellent. People cling to their opinions like life rafts, so expect the game to be review bombed by people not wanting the game to succeed. The PC version has enough headroom to allow us to push a bit further and take care of some of the pop in, but not a massive issue. FSR/DLSS causes artefacts and a noisy image though, even on Native AA setting. You have to turn off scaling mode completely. Once you do, walk around for a bit and you can see itself night and day difference. Controls are just NOT as hard as people make them out to be. Pretty sure Assassins creed Odyssey and Origins had the same sort of thing. It’s a playground, so I am not overly worried about the story not being an epic levels solo player experience, as long as there is plenty to keen me interested. Lastly, the game will challenge you. Don’t like a challenge? Maybe it for you. The game is undeniably gorgeous true next gen graphics though. I can sit and stare at the scenery all day.

Graces gameplay is perfect survival horror. Leon’s gameplay is the same old action arcade stuff that Capcom have been trying to push for years. Resident Evil is a survival horror and needs to stay that way.

My god... I didn't think a game like this could exist. It is everything I have ever wanted. Final Fantasy like world with Persona gameplay, mixed with Dark Souls timing and Cinematic/Dramatic scenes of a Hollywood blockbuster. It takes about a quarter of the game to REALLY get going but when it does, it hits hard. If this doesn't get GOTY, then I call rigged. Well done Sandfall... well done.

Rating an 8 but giving 10 to offset the woke crybabies who can't help but select the couple of homosexual game options, which just that... optional. And people childishly rating a 0 just because they don't like it, even though they admit playing to credits and graphics being amazing ect. Graphics are beautiful and the world is amazing. Probably best storm effects in any video game, with the wind rolling through the grass and trees. Actually makes me shiver! Weapons are diverse but I feel that the characters need more movesets and finishing animations.

Amazing that people who don't like the game will just flatt out give it a 0... Very childish. It is just about perfect in my books. Bloober team has taken the best elements of the original, updated anything that is outdated, and mixed it in with enough of a new experienceto make it feel like I am playing for the first time. After playing The Medium, Bloober Team were fated todo this remake. They deserve every bit of praise and respect they get, not just for making a great game, but for respecting the fanbase.

Rarely do I ever rate a game 10/10. This was the perfect way to close out the trilogy. I felt more emotionally invested in the characters in this game than in any previous. The way the story brings everyone together makes them really feel like they are more of a close team that in previous games. I have now put 150hrs into this game and have just about done everything. Money well spent.

From the get go, this game seems like a light hearted adventure, simplistic by design and story. But this game hides its story in layers, rather than shoving them in your face. Robots missing their human counterparts and developing relationships within their own culture and developing their culture brings with it some rather touching little side stories that help drive the overall narrative. Plus... you get to play a cat! And extra bonus points for being able to make peoples cats chase the TV.

I want to like this game so much... The elements are all there, but there is just a polish missing from the games aesthetics, and a blandness stemming from the studios inexperience with open world games. There are land marks everywhere smattered with enemies, but there is no real point to them. Exploration is often rewarded by blank grass cliff edges and maybe a few berries to pick. The graphics look old due to poor textures, and the unlocked framerates lead to microstutters. Updates can save this game to a 7/10 but it just lacks the beauty of its predecessor Demons Souls Remake. It still gets a five, because that classic DS formula that is so addictive that it keeps you playing... even if you don't really want to. Believe me, I kind of don't, but I will see it through to the end.

Playing on Master gave me a near Dark Souls challenge with the bosses. I found all bosses to be well crafted with great mechanics. The story had a spiritual charm to it, and the art style constantly had me thinking Disney + Studio Ghibli = Kena. Hope they make a sequel.

People who rate games with a zero need to grow up. Do you know how bad a game has to be to get a ZERO? You would need the worst graphics, worst gameplay, worst sound, worst performance than any other game out there. THIS game is incredible. My only with would be for more secrets and special events to be found in the world. Finding audio files just isn't very rewarding. Other than that, I played this game for 16hrs straight on its first day. I am playing on Legendary for the extra challenge, and it is giving me exactly what I wanted!

This game is half way between a video game and a board game. You want to play this with your wife over a few days, because that is how you will get enjoyment out of this game. I took two points away from this game... One point for lack of polish. It is supposed to be simple but small things like when the wife picks up two cups, they just disappear. And one point for being too simple graphically. I know it didn't need to be amazing, but the fact that there wasn't much to it was exactly why it should have looked amazing. Other than this, it was a really unique concept and this is a great indoor solution to doing something like an escape room with your family without leaving the house. I hope that there arw more games like this. Oh and the cast was great! Especially Defoe

Rating a game 0 just because you don't like it is childish, immature, and is the adult equivalent of a tantrum. Especially if you have not played a reasonable amount of the game. Is it game of the year? No... but after the 5hr mark, the game starts to give you reasons to play. The graphics are okay considering that they are previous gen. And I guess that the devs wanted to focus on performance after the Cyberpunk fiasco. Let me put it this way... If this game was released on switch, it would be given top marks. It seems to be the platform for comic games. These days, if an RPG isn't Witcher 3, people on playstation/xbox get a bug in their underpants about it.

This game is addictive. It misses the 4k60fps mark, as many games do, but it is't very noticeable in this game anyway, as much of the game is dark and underwater. Thankfully, its color and fluidity still make it a visual feast. I wish the world were just a little bigger and deeper, but there is still much to explore, and the cheaper price tag makes it a steal, and good value for money. You could get a good 30-50hrs out of this game if you were so inclined.

If this genra/type of game is to your liking, then you cannot fault this game. Great graphics considering that they have to prioritize lightning fast performance for this game to work, swift controls, engaging mechanics, intriguing story, multiple enemy types, and if you can manage to not break your controller with rage, the challenge is right up there at and even beyond Dark Souls level. One thing I can't stand is brain dead numpties that buy a game without doing their research, get mad at why they are dying so much, and then give the game bad reviews. It is difficult, yes... but if you can be patient and not just run out guns blazing, it isn't going to give you too much trouble. All bosses only took no more than four tries.

The game and extra content is great, but it still looks like I am playing the PS4 version at 60fps. With some of the remasters for the new consoles that I have seen, I feel this could have been done better. Even in 4k the anti aliasing is terrible. But gameplay wise, it is fantastic. Maybe not not worth the big price tag though as it doesn't't feel like a new game.

I initially didn't give this game much of a chance because of the lack of matchmaking. I sat down last week and really put some time into it, and once you have some skillsets behind you, you can really string together moves. There is a certain powerful feeling that you get when you mass **** a big group of enemies with a warhammer, and feeling it in the right trigger. That being said, matchmaking is still very much missed and a bit more content would be great. Hopefully, next update sorts this out.

In the same way as Ghost of Tsushima gave us the Assassins Creed we were all waiting for, The Medium gives us the Silent Hill that next and even pre gen horror games didn't want to give us. The camera angles are a work of art. It takes control away from the games and makes you vulnerable at times. The frame rate pacing used to cause some stuttering issues, but this has been patched now. Really looking forward to a sequel to this unique game.

Ghost of Tsushima is a game that people have been asking to be made for the last 10 years. Given that we wanted a samurai game based in Japan, it was only natural to assume that Assassins Creed would be brand name behind it. However... AC has changed over the years to accommodate the popular open world formula, leaving behind its combat mechanics that made it so well known. And so... **** Punch took that base platform and ran with it, pushing those combat mechanics further than before. But this time, stealth is optional, not preferred. In fact, the blade on blade combat takes the spotlight as we live out a long awaited fantasy in a heavily romanticized location. Everything about this game looks and feels great. A perfect send off for the ps4!

Edit: Changed my vote to a 9. Just finished the game and the small team responsible for this did a great job. This game FEELS good. The feeling you get from mashing the RT button to chomp and chew, just feels powerful. As for the graphics, I am playing on the XB1X and it looks good, the surface water effects could have been just a little better, but for a budget game, they did an incredible job. Level design is good and accommodates the completionist gamers style. With a little higher budget, this game could have done some truly great things. Story is what it is. We knew this was never going to be a serious game... you're a shark. The only performance issues I have had is frame rate issues above water when taking on a LOT of hunter boats. All in all, this gane is just good, no thinking fun, for when you need a break from the serious stuff. I could come home drunk at 1am and happily spend an hour just munching stuff up and upgrading.

I have had well over a week with this game before worldwide release, and I have had a chance to digest everything... This game had several difficult tasks ahead of it. People wanted nostalgia, but they also wanted a new game so they didn't feel ripped off. And so Square was tasked with remaking this game, all whilst walking on a tightrope. Midgar was quite possible the most difficult portion of the game to try and remake, as it is fairly linear, and does not change visually much. The remake of this game has found a way to walk that tightrope, giving you nostalgia, all whilst presenting something new. There are memorable story moments, all whilst having new plots interwoven into the story. The combat is a blend of both modern realtime, and the turn based throwback to the old FFVII. The environments are the same, but expanded upon in size to turn them into living and breathing spaces. I personally spent a good 30mins just marvelling at the sheer size of the Shinra BLDG, as you did not get the scope of this in the original. Great first steps, and if Square can deliver on the next few games, we will have a true contender for game of the decade.

These reviews make me shed a tear for the human race, because we cant even act like adults and rate it responsibly, and accordingly, even if it is not to our own liking. To give this game an absolute zero because you don't enjoy it, is childish. "If I dont like it, it must be complete and utter garbage" - The human race As for the game itself, I think everybody wants to be the king... rescue the princess, and blast their way through swarms of enemies, delivering a hail of shrapnel upon them, all whilst shruging off glancing bullets from them in return, and riding off into the sunset with the damsel in distress at their side. People want sensationalism, and an experience that caters towards their own bias. God forbid they should ever open their minds and experience something that isn't scripted to their own desires or shortcomings.
