If you played the original part and you enjoyed it, Below Zero is a good choice. For those who once had enough, there is probably no need to play again. The sequel takes the best from the original game and adds something new.

The world of Below Zero is much smaller than its predecessor’s, but it is still an absolutely brilliant survival game that tells an interesting story set in a fascinating environment. Additionally, it is more friendly towards less experienced players, and managed to get rid of some technical issues that affected the original Subnautica. [08/2021, p.78]

Um jogo muito bom e envolvente. Tem muito conteúdo e nunca acaba as descobertas e novidades quando se explora, sendo muito abrangente. Segue a mesma lógica do Subnautica 1 mas traz melhorias, monstros e áreas novas, perfeito para aqueles jogadores que jogaram o primeiro e ficaram com aquele gosto de “quero mais”.

Played the first game years ago and really liked it. After reading mixed reviews, I postponed Below Zero, till 2025. Bad choice on my behalf. It's great, it has the atmosphere, the otherwordly sounds and encounters and FUN. Still haven't finished it and I'm relishing and enjoying every moment.

Subnautica: Below Zero is a leaner, meaner standalone expansion to Subnautica that improves on the story and mechanics, but doesn't give us as much room to explore.

I love this type of games. I don’t like many fights and if you’re like me. You’ll like it. Only think that was bad for me is quests because it’s sometimes hard to understand what to do in game.

If you liked the first one, you will love Subnautica: Below Zero. It improves everything previously played and adds necessary novelties to this sequel. Everyone who loves underwater world and survival genre will be delighted with this video game.

Subnautica: Below Zero is a masterfully horrific experience that encourages you to push on despite your fears. It's a fine balancing act of the horrors you'll face underwater and the rewards you can get for evading them. It's really very hard, but it's also really very good.

The new Subnautica is brilliant as long as you stay under water, much less so when you’re forced to leave it. Still, it’s almost as good as the original game.

Subnautica: Below Zero feels like more of Subnautica, and that is only a good thing to a certain extent. Where it falls short by copying its predecessor is in the story and thematic department, making it feel like an uneventful and unimportant step in the series.

I don't understand what happened with the team that made this game, but it was obvious they didn't enjoy making it. If you don't know the first game its a 7, but if you experienced the first one I'd be shocked if you give it a 5 or above.

A ripoff of the first game with a lot of ice and a boring map. It does everything worse then the first game and gets really boring really quick.
