Ambientato nel Giappone feudale del periodo Sengoku, Nioh unisce storia, leggende yokai e combattimenti estremamente tecnici. La narrativa è semplice ma efficace, con missioni principali avvincenti e un buon numero di side quest che arricchiscono il mondo e il **** combat system è il vero cuore del gioco: le diverse armi, stance e abilità permettono uno stile di combattimento profondo e strategico. La gestione di Ki e stamina è cruciale, così come l’uso delle magie e dei poteri Yokai, che rendono ogni scontro tatticamente stimolante. Le boss fight sono difficili ma gratificanti, premiando la pazienza e la padronanza dei **** punto di vista tecnico, la versione PS4 offre una grafica solida, animazioni fluide e ambientazioni dettagliate, sebbene alcune mappe possano sembrare un po’ ripetitive. La colonna sonora e il design audio enfatizzano la tensione e l’atmosfera del Giappone storico, rendendo l’esperienza immersiva e intensa.

First time you're hearing about The Nioh Collection? It's a great pick up for your PS5 and one of the best franchises of the last generation! But if you've been grinding away on the PS4 version? Maybe wait for a sale.

If you’re looking for a new game to beat you into submission before you learn its secrets, and you want to play the best version of it, pick up the Nioh Collection. It will hurt, but you’ll get so much more in return.

The Nioh Collection confidently slashes through these minor oversights because it is still a definitive duo of difficult classics that play, look, and feel better than ever before. Even though its sequel is easily the superior, more varied title, both are still genre-defining action RPGs that provide so many engaging encounters that crush players to a pulp as a means to make them work for their euphoric victories. Few games can master this balance and maintain it after dozens or hundreds of hours and this collection has two such titles, doubling the amount of pain while also simultaneously doubling the amount of satisfaction.

Nioh Collection for PS5 is the best way to enjoy an essential series for lovers of RPG and action. Hundreds of hours of gameplay with all the content released so far, an agile, unique and demanding combat system and unique character and combat style customization possibilities.

The Nioh Collection crams two great games and six story expansions into one complete, content-stuffed package. Despite its extensiveness, the lack of exclusive content or noteworthy new features make it a hard sell in its entirety. It gives Ninja Theory a good excuse to try and grab some more attention for some legitimately great games, but calling these remasters is perhaps a bit of an embellishment.

An incredibly good combination of Dark Souls, Ninja Gaiden and Diablo. This game has a lot to offer: - Durability: You can spend a lot of hours by completing the campaign which is huge with plenty submissions and is very challenging. - The possibilities to build your character are incredible huge.

Hours Played: 46 Hours Trophy Completion: 43/103 (42%) Worth My Time: Only if you know what you're getting into. Worth My Money: Yes, it's a pretty good value when on sale. What I Like: The weapon system is pretty cool and there's tons of abilities. Runs really well on PS5. What I Dislike: Wasted potential as it ends up being a janky button masher with terrible bulletsponge AI and way too much loot. How It Stacks Up: You can really tell that this was made by the same people who made Dead or Alive. Unnecessarily complex systems everywhere you look. Tons of video game here, just none if it is particularly good. There is definitely an audience for this game though. It is for people who think the Souls series is too slow and boring and hard, and instead wish it were a casual over-the-top action button masher. At least they did a good job with the PS5 features.

The game and extra content is great, but it still looks like I am playing the PS4 version at 60fps. With some of the remasters for the new consoles that I have seen, I feel this could have been done better. Even in 4k the anti aliasing is terrible. But gameplay wise, it is fantastic. Maybe not not worth the big price tag though as it doesn't't feel like a new game.

I know this is a well-loved game, but I can't be the only one that finds this so hard it's not enjoyable? I had a miserable experience with the very first boss (literally the second enemy you fight) on Nioh2. I play most games on "Normal" difficulty and there isn't even the option to reduce the difficulty. I understand this is good for some, but a really bad experience for someone like me.
