This movie is bad, it heavily relies on unfunny jokes and nonexistent story

A lovely heart-warming story about a father and his son coming together and becoming closer. (Sound like a storyline I'd like?) Obviously a win for me.

This movie is mediocre, it tries to be too hip with the kids, and the fact that it is lackluster.

What if an average person could become Santa? Better yet, what if Tim Allen from Home Improvement became Santa? Enjoy Allen's humor, the cute father/son relationship, and clever takes on Santa Claus magic with early 90s CGI, but don't expect much depth from the film's more serious themes.

I really like this christmas movie because I grew up watching this AND, It has the great actors.

Tim Allen is absolutely charming as Santa Claus. He brings the inspiration from Home Improvement and implements it in this family comedy classic about a child's dad being Santa. I think this movie as a nice tone and a heartwarming story that it could charm Tim Allen fans too in looking for holiday cheer.

Loved this movie when it came out, still do. This was the first Santa Clause movie I've ever seen done this way. Killed Santa then he becomes Santa, great! My favorite out the series.

The Santa Claus. Funny and funny story. The beginning of the Christmas franchise about his most recognizable symbol marked the beginning of Tim Allen to perform his most magical role. Santa Claus in his performance looks great and you can repeat as much as you like that the whole film is one big fairy tale and everything is done too kindly and for children, but no. This is a very funny and at the same time insanely atmospheric film for which you will have to make yourself cocoa, wrap yourself in a blanket and turn off the lights and watch without stopping. Once again, I would like to note Tim Allen, as he perfectly played the rebirth from a cynical person into a real good-natured man in a red hat.

Favorite Holiday movie! I watch this every year with my family. It never gets old.

Lots Of Fun With a great cast, and likable lead, The Santa Clause is a great film to watch during the holidays.

The Santa Clause can get tedious at times, but this movie is not only saved, but elevated by Tim Allen's ingenious performance. This is absolutely one of the best roles Tim Allen has ever played, and this unique and fun interpretation of the Santa legend is not easily forgotten. Its easy to see why many people find this to be a holiday hit!

"The Santa Clause" was mildly entertaining but very funny film through a man who will become Santa Claus , not knowing what happened to the Verdader Santa Claus , the plot almost boundless , but cuestionabe.

Tim Allen has a certain comedic delivery style; this movie fits him perfectly. I'm surprised at the critics score; it's one of my favorite Christmas movies and I have the DVD. Tim is your stereotype toy designer solely interested in making a buck when "there arose such a clatter." Yup, Tim becomes Santa and his whole world turns upside down. Duh, who wouldn't? Throughout the movie, Tim's low voice comic retorts are hilarious. Maybe the low score Users and the critics didn't like that type of humor.

Santa Clause is the frosting on the Christmas cake, that good gift that you weren't hoping for, probably will play with for a short time, and then ignore for a long time. While some jokes are great and the premise is innocent, Tim Allen's Santa is neither endearing nor memorable. The movie features plenty of great ideas, but lacks substance to make those ideas shine. It's almost as if The Santa Clause doesn't know what it wants to be: a holiday comedy or a dramatic look at the strain of being Santa on family life. The Santa Clause is a great family film for the holidays. Can be a bit dumb from time to time but Tim Allen seems to love what he is doing which pays off in the film.

Love this holiday film, one of the best holiday movies ever made! There is so much laugh-out-load moments for all the family with such a lovely cast, an amazing story line and a warming family movie!

The Santa Clause is an instant Christmas classic. A unique idea brought to life with a great story, and good acting, especially with a great performance from Tim Allen.
