Sorry. Maybe this movie gets better, but evil twins and wrongly accused characters are the laziest plot elements of all time. Thanks to previous past life references (I'm not kidding), this has both. I've enjoyed previous movies in this series, but this is a serious low. Save your time.

Feels pretty average. Story/plot could be better. Not enough climax suspense & thriller. Can be skipped.

We’re on the fourth one already, and somehow the formula still works… more or less. Ride or Die doesn’t try to reinvent anything, but it knows exactly what it is: a dose of over-the-top action, buddy banter, and ridiculous chases that care little for logic and go all-in on spectacle. And if you’re on board with that, it’s a good time. I was. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence still have great chemistry, though this time it’s Lawrence who steals the show with his worn-down, self-deprecating humor. Smith, on the other hand, feels a bit more reserved—almost like he’s wondering whether it’s time to pass the baton to someone younger. They’re not that old yet, but the script makes sure to remind us they’re not twenty **** plot moves at full speed, almost as if it’s afraid you’ll blink and miss something. It gets a little chaotic here and there, but never truly falls apart. Adil & Bilall’s direction brings energy and strong visual flair. Some of the action scenes are impressive, and even though there’s probably one explosion too many, it’s not as exhausting as other franchise ****’s not perfect, and it doesn’t need to be. It delivers what it promises: two hours of summer blockbuster fun, with enough solid moments to justify the ride. Maybe the franchise doesn’t have that much more gas in the tank—but if what’s coming is as decent as this, hey, let the car keep rolling a little longer.

The worst installment in the franchise. The script feels completely phoned in, with plot holes galore. Whatever chemistry existed between Smith and Lawrence seems to have evaporated since the last movie. The rest of the cast has nothing to work with due to the terrible writing, the action sequences are entirely forgettable and void of logic.

Absolutely great film with great shots and excellent picture quality. There should be more films like this that simply offer two hours of good entertainment without having to rack your brains.

Some very inventive action filmmaking which was probably the highlight. The performances are very mixed throughout, and the mumbo jumbo plot isn't doing anyone any favors.

This was fun to watch, made me laugh and had a lot of action in it. I really enjoyed this movie, it was a great movie overall.

It had nice action, so funny moments - I have seen I think first one long time ago, but in general not the biggest fan of the franchise, so maybe if you are, then this was disappointing I don't know, but as standalone is was ok

An incredible movie from the little comedy they had to all the action which had some amazing camera angles especially in the final battle going from third to first person. Also reggie had one of the most badass scene.

With all the comedy, heart, and feels you've come to expect from this franchise, Bad Boys: Ride or Die is a nonstop thrillride that does not disappoint on the action sequences and explosions standard of a Michael Bay movie. 10/10.

This movie lacks the true comedy that nad the first 3 funny. Some humorous moments here and there but overall just falls flat. The plot is nothing special and doesn't have time to really get going as the movie is so short. CGI is pretty poor and the movie tries loads of experimental camera techniques that don't tend to work out most of the time. It feels very off brand for this series. That said I absolutely loved the first person angle achieved via Will Smith wearing a rig. It's a brilliant scene and I love how it swap characters and angles. If only more movies did this.

The movie maintains the classic bad boys feel up to the end. Will Smith & Martin Lawrence buddy cop pair works even after all these years.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence continue to have great chemistry as the Bad Boys. This entry does put a new spin on the franchise by having Mike (Will Smith) be the scared one and Marcus (Martin Lawrence) be the chilled calm one which makes for some great comedy and tension. Mike finally has a family and that means something to lose. Martin continues to deliver on the humour and many moments with him got a chuckle out of me. Unfortunately, the plot is incredibly predictable. The so-called "twist" is not even remotely surprising and every character arc is very generic. The action scenes are fine but lack the octane energy of the first 2 movies. There is one great action set piece but it is not from Will Smith or Martin's character. Still, it is fun popcorn entertainment and I had a good time with it.

Average thrills with the occasional chuckles, this film never quite hit it's stride for **** direction seems torn between trying to stick the Michael bay style of the original films and yet over eager with some of the more experimental shots (first person action sequence, a john wick style scene and some trippy dream sequences). The genre is so overly saturated its almost impossible to be fresh in the buddy cop action genre (this was true even when the first movie came out!).Overall the plot fell flat for me and the OTT style of performances came across as distracting more than entertaining. HOWEVER if you can leave your brain at the door then this will entertain you.

Entertaining sequel to the Bad Boys franchise is more or less a redemption arc for Smith after the fames 'slapgate' at the Oscars a couple of years ago. It seems that 'forgive and forget' and business as normal is the go to word here, with some major change being that Smith taking a backseat to Lawrence in many aspects. What surprised me more is that this franchise was as 'old' as the Lethal Weapon series when it reached its fourth installments, but with a much more 'consistent' quality.

The movie was pretty good. The jokes were excellent. The interplay between Smith and Lawrence is excellent, which overcame some deficiencies in the story, but that always does. Lawrence was wonderful too. All in all we'd say: "sit down, get some popcorn, and enjoy the show."

I had heard that this film was a "return to form" and "super fun". Don't you believe it. Martin Lawrence seems to have some real medical issues, often slurring his speech. Will Smith needs to lay off the spray paint hair. You're going bald **** it. Flat, one-dimensional baddies who appear to be bad for...funsies I guess?

Bad Boys: Ride or Die continues the formula of the previous 3 films before it, but that's not a bad thing. The action is top notch, intense and over the top. The humor, while a bit goofier than normal, is still there and it pulls just enough emotional weight to keep you gripped. While some of the goofier parts don't work as well, the dynamic of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence together is still electric. If you are a fan of any of the Bad Boys films before now, we can't see why you wouldn't enjoy this installment.

Totally a feel good movie. Super action scenes and the visuals were excellent. If you love these kind of movies this is one of the best that I’ve seen from Will Smith. So many times I just cracked up laughing.

Somehow, Bad Boys returned...Ride or Die doesn't have the surprise, the emotional authenticity or the genuine relationships of the third one, but the franchise film no one was asking for, is an electric reprise of the dumb, fun buddy action comedy. I don't want these movies to be so good, because it means I have to keep seeing them. The action is zippy and fun, not great but never boring, the directing homages Bay but doesn't rely on his worse tendencies and the plot and story meanders and isn't incredible, but it is simple and fun. It's a film that has two ageing badasses in it that isn't afraid to ride with real-world issues against them and a passing of the torch that feels very un-franchisey and more tongue-in-cheek and human. The real genius at the heart of Ride or Die after the Will Smith heavy For Life, is that Martin Lawrence is the star again, he does so much in this movie, moves through so many hilarious modes in his journey and the movie isn't afraid of being abjectly silly and wasting a lot of money on simple visual gags and moments designed to make people laugh.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence remain good company even when Bad Boys strains to up the ante, proving there's still life left in this high-octane franchise.

The worst part of the whole movie is that banter between Lawrence and Smith just doesn't work. It's not funny, it's forced. It's mostly gross. Especially what Lawrence does in this movie. Smith acts like this is a favour to his friend so he tries to endure. In terms of story and characters this movie feels like a Steven Seagal movie from the nineties. It's full of cliche's, it's completely predictable (it's a replay of everything we've already seen), the whole premise is soooo naive and poorly written (Can you log into my Ring?Yeah, we have VPN and a router. - Jeeeeezaaaas!!). The whole main plot is just so goddamn idiotic, that it just hurts. Cinematography is inconsistent - for a while this wants to be a music clip, then a game, then an action movie. A few shots are interesting, but that's just too little. I'd let this franchise go to rest.

A perfectly mediocre film. Its a nice step up for the franchise and a solid entry for any bad boys fan. But it doesn't have anything interesting to offer. Full review on my instagram page @_oscarbait_

I liked the 1st one so much, I really hoped that I'd like the next 3 sequeals at least half as much. This one was by far the WORST of the 4 movies. Was it horrible? No. Was it funny? At times. Did it make any sense, whatsoever? Not really. Was there action & stunts galore? Yep. Did it remind me of playing a first person shooter video game? Yep. And that was really annoying. Put this series and characters to bed once and for all. Enough already.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die carries forward the beloved elements of the series, including the characteristic banter between Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, and a nod to Michael Bay's signature visual style. Robrecht Heyvaert's cinematography shows some improvement, but still feels somewhat rough, with long takes and first-person action sequences lacking distinctiveness. The script maintains the average standard of the series—neither strong enough to carry the entire film nor weak enough to ruin it. As long as Will Smith and Martin Lawrence continue their comedic antics, this franchise can keep going for life.

I really enjoyed this addition to the Bad Boys franchise. Per usual, Martin and Will deliver amazing performances of their iconic characters and the stakes are set as high as possible with the two of them ending up on the wrong side of the law in the worst of ways but with quality investigation techniques and iron willpower, they fight through serious badassery to uncover the truth and exonerate the innocent.

An AI could have crafted a better script. Additionally, it's challenging to watch anything featuring Will Smith without getting uncomfortable vibes. If you have absolutely nothing to watch, you could let this run in the background, but I wouldn't pay too much attention. Very little to see here.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence return in top form for "Bad Boys: Ride or Die." This Miami mayhem delivers the action you crave, with wild car chases, explosive shootouts, and the classic banter between Mike Lowrey and Marcus **** plot's a familiar thrill ride, but who cares? The action is relentless, the laughs keep coming, and the duo's chemistry is undeniable. New directors add some fresh style, making this a fun return for these bad boys.

IN A NUTSHELL: Can you believe it has been almost 30 years since the first Bad Boys movie came out? Some of the films are better than others, but fans are happy that they keep coming. In this new installment of the franchise, our two favorite Miami police officers are on the run when their former captain is implicated in corruption. They have to be on the offense and defense in order to clear his name. The high-octane action flick was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. Writing credits go to Chris Bremner, Will Beall, and George Gallo. THINGS I LIKED: Will Smith and Martin Lawrence still have great chemistry together. They both have the exact same hair cut and facial hair style in this flick. What's up with that? In addition to being the main attraction of the movie, they also co-produced it with the legendary Jerry Bruckheimer. Eric Dane and Tiffany Haddish both looked so different as blondes! I almost didn't recognize them. I'm a big fan of Vanessa Hudgens and have never seen her in a rated-R movie like this before. I was surprised to hear her swear a couple of times. I much prefer her playing sweet, comedic, singing characters. Other cast members who did an outstanding job were Jacob Scipio, Paola Nunez, Alexander Ludwig, and Rhea Seehorn. Did you notice Jay Shetty was the man who married Will Smith's character? I loved all of the cute cameos. I was surprised to see DJ Khaled in a short action moment that made me laugh out loud. Another quick appearance is of Michael Bay! Kudos to the stunt team for pulling off some impressive action sequences, which are almost nonstop. Some of the shootout scenes were **** a good way. That crocodile tourist site made for a fun set piece. Some of the camera angles and drone shots are interesting. Many of them looked like they were straight out of a first-person shooter video game. The last frame of the movie made me laugh out loud. If you're a fan of the franchise, you'll enjoy a few Easter eggs and respectful nods to some of the previous movies, especially with short scenes that featured Joe Pantoliano. THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE: Every time I saw Will Smith with his character's wife, I wondered what Jada Pinkett Smith thought about that scene. I was worried about him because he kisses and cuddles another woman/actress. There are soooo many F-bombs. Because there is so many chaotic moments with loud bangs, crashes, explosions, and action, I started to get numb to it. TIPS FOR PARENTS: Profanity, including lots of F-bombs and crude language We see the naked rear end of a man Various weapons are used. People die mostly bloodless deaths. Tons of destruction.Lots of violence. People are in perilous situations.

This was an unexpected delight, and especially for real cinema. There were tons of laughs in this especially from Martin Lawrence, and some actually thrilling action sequences that made my jaws drop. The direction was fantastic. So who needs an uninspired plot when you got these to enjoy at the movies?

A couple of weeks ago the industry and moviegoers were on the verge of collapse and maximum uncertainty as they saw how the box office was moving away from the big blockbusters and hundreds of theories were beginning to be commented on, however, there was a fireproof couple. that would come to everyone's rescue to show that movie theaters are not dying, they are simply waiting for their ideal candidate to **** the bad guys have brought people back to the movie theaters and they do it with their own merits, why again in their fourth installment they do it again with a fun, entertaining, epic, exciting and meaningless show that catapults Smith and Lawrence as the eternal Bad Boys who simply continue to do their best to provide us with fun in the purest style of a couple with whom we have grown up over time. With an undisputed chemistry and scriptwriters who know how to take advantage of that relationship where they once again get it right in the comic dialogues of an unmatched Martin Lawrence and a Will Smith as the faithful squire that lead us to have two characters that continue to give the best funny moments within of an action film like the Bad Boys saga, they may be 20 years older and will continue to generate the same empathy with the viewer thanks to the fact that characters and actors strengthen each other. We also find a cast that is establishing itself within the universe and that contributes its degree of freshness, I think of you Jacob **** interesting villain like Eric Dane, an Ioan Gruffudd who brings his simple touch and secondary characters who are full of sympathy like Hudgens, Ludwig and **** trick behind the saga is also knowing how to choose the heirs of Michael Bay where the Belgian directors are the perfect replacement to give freshness to the saga where they do not try to match Bay, but rather make their own version of a direction that in This fourth installment works perfectly and where they once again demonstrate that they are directors who know how to take advantage of their available budget, especially if we take into account that they only get 100 million to make a delivery with much more action than in their previous work. . They are 10 million more than in the previous one, but they make it perform as if they were double, great for the **** have a script that is not complicated to a greater extent, it once again gives us somewhat clichéd aspects to link stories and characters, but it is not that they are a total disaster, taking into account that it tries to include new generations and an audience that is looking for something more that the bad is bad and the good is good. New generations that also prefer to have the context of certain things, whether we like it or not, these are the times and the script allows itself to please everyone and ultimately it doesn't look bad.A strange, but satisfying soundtrack by Lorne Balfe and a photography loaded with what Bay accustomed us to by Robrecht Heyvaert, join a direction by a duo of directors that manages to provide sequences and moments that one can remember and enjoy with complete **** Boys: Ride or Die makes us have a fun and at times exciting show to continue consolidating a saga that never clashes that perhaps its two new installments do not come close to matching its two previous classics, but without a doubt they are tremendous films to provide entertainment and moments to enjoy with a couple of police officers who were born to ride together, die together and be rebels forever.
