Marvel's Wolverine6
Sep 17, 2026
My biggest gripe with this game is the gameplay. Every encounter is the exact same and its a damn shame. Spiderman is soo good but this game is just run up to enemy, mash □, repeat. The abilities are terrible and the camera is so close to wolverine you cant see incoming attacks a lot of the time. Story is passable but seems strangely written. Wolverine has multiple moments where he acts completely out of character.

Very rough game. Same knife boss fight like 10 times. Gunplay is really bad with very few weapons. Story is pretty mid, some of the writing at the end makes 0 sense. Even in performance mode the game cant even keep a stable framerate. Which is mad because it doesnt even look that good Driving is good

Good but the others are better, remastered graphics are great. However some levels like 343 Guilty Spark have their atmosphere ruined. A dark foggy forrest turned into something from Avatar. Which takes away from the environmental story telling a bit.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II10
Nov 25, 2024
I waited a long time for this game. I love the stepfurther into Norse Mythology and I absolutely adore that there are other people in this game. Seeing Senua interact with others, and how her voices also react to them is great. The graphics are drop dead gorgeous and the animations beautiful. Unfortunately the gameplay is even more dull than the first game. Combat is actually simpler and slow. Game is very linear with unbelievably boring puzzles(if you could even call them that). The game also doesnt have an ending at all. Mid cutscene you go into one of senua's mind sequences and then the credits roll. Like have I missed something? Haha

Nov 8, 2024
A good game to play but it doesnt really need to exist. Like no one asked for this at all. The campaign has some brilliant levels and the more tactical gameplay us fun, especially on realism difficulty. But the story is just ok and nothing special. Multiplayer maps are awful and it introduced SBMM in modern call of duty. Also introduced Warzone which ruined call of duty completely

Arise: A Simple Story7
Nov 2, 2024
This is a sweet game, a piece of art made out of pure love by the devs. The art style is cosy and the soundtrack is phenomenal as you embark on this sweet story about love and loss, life and death. Though, the story is very very simple (in the name), meaning that not a lot goes on. It makes you feel but not a lot happens. The gameplay is nice but again could have been expanded on a bit more

Call of Duty: Black Ops 65
Oct 31, 2024
Zombies is fun and the campaign is decent. Story has some good parts but then doesnt really give you any closure on any questions raised in the game. Takes away player choice on the story. Cold War was better. THIS IS THE FIRST CALL OF DUTY EVER THAT I DONT FIND FUN. The multiplayer is awful, forced to play as some cringe ass operator, forced to listen to their cringe ass voice lines, easily the worst maps in cod history. The new movement mechanics only made the game worse as now all the sweats just pretty much float across the map. This game is awful

Ghost of Tsushima: Iki Island7
Oct 13, 2024
Iki Island DLC is good but doesn't add all that much to the gameplay. The new map is beautiful and has some cool locations but is also quite small. The story itself is sweet and follows Jin as he confronts his past. And that part is brilliant. However the mongol part is mid. The Eagle is pretty basic and flat as far as characters go. And the new enemy types are nothing special. The overall story doesn't get time to flesh out due to how short it is. This is a nice DLC but not worth the asking price. It could of added just a bit more to the game instead of adding more of what we already had

Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered7
Oct 13, 2024
Assassin's Creed Rogue is just a refined version of Black Flag. That is a good thing as the amazing gameplay makes its way over. But it also makes the game more stale as it feels like a DLC more than it's own game. The story is a new take and for the most part enjoyable. It's shorter and has some laughable writing at parts but all in all it's actually quite refreshing to have a game that isn't just "Assassin's good, Templar's bad" The map(s) of the game are full of beautiful locations and I'll never forget the cozy river valley. It's just so calming exploring locations there. Unfortunately there is barely any side content aside from collectibles that limit the exploration from reaching it's full potential. Overall it's not an amazing game but it's not bad either. Overshadowed by it's broken twin, Rogue is often forgotten about but it's worth the play. And it actually works bug free

Oct 3, 2024
Firewatch is a beautiful game and good at what it sets out to do. Unfortunately the gameplay is pretty bad. Go here,go there is pretty much the entirety of the gameplay. And the walking is clunky too. The story is short and sweet but I wish there was a bit more fleshing out as a time skip from day 2 to day 70 is a bit mad. It's good but feels too condensed. I enjoyed the feeling of tension when it turns into more of a physiological horror. But unfortunately it's mid at the end and explained in a very plain and boring way With more time in the oven this game could of slapped

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception8
Sep 29, 2024
Uncharted 3 finally sees a much needed upgrade in gameplay from the first 2 games. The gunplay feels so much better and weapons feel like they are actually different from one another. Unfortunately the enemy identification is awful, they all look the same. They all wear rags but can take like 10 bullets to the head. They constantly spawn in behind you too which is awfully annoying. The story is a step down from Uncharted 2, less humour and a much less interesting villain. It's still very good by today's standards but it takes a more serious tone that doesnt suit the game as well. There is also way to much suspension of disbelief required for this game to work. Multiple times both sides have an opportunity to just kill the other and don't, because? We never know. Just PLOT. Nate somehow survives everything in this game and it's just TOO unbelievable. The ending also feels awfully rushed and there is no real boss fight. Just a few QTEs. The main thing I loved was the set peices and sequences. Fighting on a falling plane, escaping a sinking ship, crossing a ship graveyard, fighting in the sandstorms, seeing the beautiful city of the pillars.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves8
Sep 16, 2024
Uncharted 2 is a massive step up from the first game. The story is fantastic, brilliant acting from the cast. The in game banta is great and constantly had me laughing. The graphics also hold up quite well and the varied environments all look decent and stylized. Unfortunately the gameplay, both combat and climbing is mostly the same from the first game. For this reason I cant give it a 10. Look at a lot of reviews and they will say the same thing about uncharted 1s mechanics. The team took that feedback and didnt improve it at all. Nate will just take cover behind random things, jump to his death randomly or no shoot what you're aiming at. There is a ridiculous difficulty spike near the end too, I was playing on normal and suddenly in chapter 25 I'm getting insta-killed? It made the last couple of hours infuriating. AND AGAIN, WHY THE HELL ARE DODGE AND COVER THE SAME BUTTON

Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ignis9
Sep 15, 2024
I absolutely adore this DLC, I remember when it came out. The story it added/the hole it filled in FFXVs main story was brilliant. Ignis' gameplay is fun. The spell daggers are enjoyable to use and my favourite suprise addition was the grapple that you can use to run from roof to roof across Altissia. I cant give it a 10 though because chapter 3 is literally 50 seconds long. I do understand there is an alternative ending that can be done. But I'd rather the effort put into that instead be used to craft a better cannon chapter 3 as its so unforgivably short. Either way though for the price you really cant complain with what you get. Its brilliant

I feel like this is really good for kids that like Peppa Pig. The art style and story telling are just like the show. The gameplay is free and lets you explore around peppa's world in any order which I liked But this game is a bit too simple to play. I cant see it keeping my kids entertained for long. Not that it matters as the game is only an hour long yet being sold for £35. Its just not good enough

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune6
Sep 3, 2024
(For clarity I played the Remastered version on PS5) The game has aged quite well and the gameplay overall still feels smooth. Unlike a lot of other games from the time. Unfortunately its the game design that lets this game down. Its good and it goes well until you reach the bunker. After that the monsters start coming at you and the gameplay goes to ****. Enemies that you cant melee, will overwhelm you and charge you. And the guns are slow, clunky and horrible to aim with barely any ammo around. What could to wrong? I dont really know what the devs were thinking because up until this point its a very good game. The story overall is decent, not majorly special but its good. Nate, Helena and Sully get on nicely and the overall plot including some history is nice, even if not as in depth as the other games. ALSO WHO THE HELL DECIDED DODGE AND COVER SHOULD BE THE SAME BUTTON???????

Uncharted: Golden Abyss8
Sep 1, 2024
I cant believe they managed to stuff an entire Uncharted game onto the Vita. I was pleasantly suprised by this game, the story is great and the characters work well together. I loved seeing Chase and found her character a nice adition to the universe. The overall gameplay is decent with plenty of collectables to find which all make use of the PS Vita systems. Maps are good looking for saying its on a vita. The game makes sure to let you know its a vita game by making use of every vita feature, apart from the camera. For the most part this is good but some places like the quick time events at the end of the game are ruined by using the touch screen. The shooting mechanics also let the game down. Even with auto aim on its a nightmare to actually aim and hit enemies

Final Fantasy XVI7
Aug 12, 2024
I think its important to say I loved the story in this game. The world building is brilliant and the lore is great too. Unfortunately the Villian is very mid and has nothing Ardyn from FFXV. The ending too leaves a lot to be desired. However I absolutely loved the icon fights, they always felt grand in scale and overall epic. The characters and their chemistry is also well done and emotional. My main gripe is the gameplay,it's so dull. You only have 1 weapon, a sword. And thats it for the whole game. There is also a lot of special abilities but they all feel just as useless. The game is ridiculously easy with harder difficulties locked behind New Game+. Every enemy is just a damage sponge that you have to fight the same way as every other enemy as there are no special weaknesses to really exploit. This gets a lot worse near the end of the game where it just throws 10 minute damage sponge boss after 10 minute damage sponge boss again and again

Life is Strange Remastered Collection8
Aug 12, 2024
Played on PS5 with the nice 60fps patch. I love life is strange and this edition makes it look so much better. The new facial animations especially are great and show so much more emotion. Definitely in the ending where its a night and day difference. Life is strange also has collector mode added to it to make trophy hunting alot easier which is a nice addition. Unfortunately before the storm didnt really see any improvements because it already looked alot better than life is strange 1. The game also has quite a few bugs which makes me give it an 8 instead of 10

Call of Duty: Vanguard6
Aug 12, 2024
Waited until 2024 to pick this up on PS5. Overall it was better than I expected because I had heard horrible things. The Campaign is easily better than all 3 of the new MW games. I enjoyed the longer cutscenes giving it a more moive like presence. The levels didnt feel as claustrophobic as COD WW2 which was a big improvement too. Multiplayer is quite decent, again better than all 3 new MW games. The maps are suprisingly good from what Ive played and the gameplay overall is decent. Now onto the bad. Zombies (enough said), modern weapons added to a WW2 shooter?, quite buggy overall from Campaign to multiplayer I had issues. Overall better than I thought but still isnt great. Cold War still stands as the best COD since COD WW2

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War7
Aug 6, 2024
Cold war isnt a bad game by any means but suffers from all the same issues modern cod does. Except this has a brilliant campaign with a good plot twist and brings back player choice from black ops 2. Its short but genuinely really good. Multiplayer is the most fun since WW2 as its still on the old engine. So plays more like the older games and is so much better because of it. Zombies I cant comment on as I have not played it All in all the best COD since WW2 by a long shot

Jul 20, 2024
Now in 2024 you can find this game dirt cheap so you can overlook the fact its a glorified demo. With the price aside you can see that this game (for what it is) is actually really good. A fantastic tease of whats to come in TPP The 1 main level you get is fantastic with a nice bit of story and some fantastic cutscenes and soundtrack to go with. The other levels (VR missions really) are also a nice bit of extra ganeplay allowing you to fully experience the map and the fox engine's in depth gameplay systems. For what it is the game is great. If only it was like £5 at launch

Shadow of the Tomb Raider8
Jul 12, 2024
I absolutely adore this game. The story is fantastic and a brilliant way to send off the survivor trilogy. Just like Rise, the map is big and fun to explore with various side quests, crypts and tombs. The documents you can find also tell more of a story now as do the artifacts. The DLCs, though short, are great too. Each adding a good tomb aswell as more story and cutscenes. Outfits and weapons. The only reasonI believe this game is only an 8 is because there is much less content compared to Rise. Its nice the game isnt bloated but not even having the score attack mode made the game feel smaller overall. Reflective of its lower budget

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration9
Jul 12, 2024
This game is far from perfect but I truly believe it is the best tomb raider game. Stunning visuals, good story, brilliant acting from the cast, a true open world to explore to find crypts and tombs. This edition also includes all dlc which makes the full package insnane, campaign, baba yaga, cold darkness, blood ties, endurance, COOP, challenge mode. So much to see and do. A must play for any tomb raider fan

Replayed this year on my PC and this game still holds up very well. Graphics arent as good as the 2 sequels but then again they arent over 10 years old. Some hate the reboot trilogy but I absolutely love it. And this game is an excellent start. The gameplay is fun and the story/lore of the island is good. Start to finish it is quite the experience. My only gripe is the same I had all those years ago when it came out. WHY NO SPRINT

Jul 12, 2024
I absolutely loved this game. Few games can pull off the Journey style of story telling but this game does it well. No dialogue, no easy answers. Just a strange world that you can explore to learn more about through notes and murals left around the **** climbing is satisfying and the overall gameplay loop is fun. The game doesnt overstay its welcome by any means and is sweet throughout. The only gripe I have is that the story kind of trails off. Things make sense and you learn from the notes then the story kind of stops. And certain notes dont make sense anymore

Definitely one of the more unique games you can play. And thats good in the age of modern gaming. The humor keeps you invested and the silly story got laughs out of me throughout. Gameplay is fun with some quite varied Gatlians to use, though enemy variety is a bit lacking.

Its unfair people rank this game lower because of it not having multiplayer. Its literally in the name "CAMPAIGN REMASTERED" Played on PS5 Pros, Another faithful remaster of the original with new animations, easter eggs and greatly improved visuals. Arcade mode and cheats from modern warfare remastered also make a return adding much needed replayability. Cons Unfortunately some of the new animations look a bit odd as they seem exaggerated. Where as modern warfare remastered's added animations were more grounded. Motion blur also ruins any in game cinematics. Which is weird because the gameplay doesnt actually have motion bluf

One of the best games I have ever played, from start to finish this game is a true story. That said its not as good as 2018. God of War 2018 was a pure 10/10 but Ragnarok's story just feels a bit more over the place. A good story overall with a fantastic ending, all the character arcs are really satisfying. The dialogue is slightly more questionable. Especially when it comes to the Aeseir, WHY ARE THEY JUST AMERICAN. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE NORSE GODS Apart from that, very good. Traversing the 9 realms is great

One of the worst games I have ever played, any dev that helped on this should feel ashamed After all these years you still can find a match and play multiplayer which is alright. A good way to pass the time. The campaign operations are dull I will admit, there was so much more that could have been done there, but the cutscenes to go along with them are very on brand and make you feel like you are indeed playing a black ops game. Survival makes a returnbut feels quite scripted to lose when the round gets too high. Overall if more time and effort was put in this could have been something really special. But I also don't think its as bad as people make out. I does its job well

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown10
Feb 24, 2024
Easily the best switch game I have ever played. This game is true proof that when developers put time and effort into the game it can run well on switch. A smooth 60fps frame rate makes this game a pleasure to play on **** only draebacks you can really notice are muddy textures in the games few and far between cutscenes. As for the game itself ubisoft has really outdone themselves with this one. The story is not so present but is good thgroughout (IMO). I'd much rather a game light on story than a game has a heavy story that is just plain bad. The soundtrack is stellar and the art style of the game is perfect. Mount Qaf is gorgeous and so varied throughout the game. What really makes it enjoyable for me is the world buidling through environmental story teliing. Being able to find little notes, or read tablets that explain the way the city lived or gives backstory to bosses you will soon fight. The combat can get repetitive but only if you use the same moves. As you progress the game your moveset expands, especially if you make use of amulets and upgrading them in the forge. Its smooth and satisfying fighting enemies. Puzzles throughout make for a little bit of brain testing but nothing seems impossible which keeps you invested as the player. What I really liked was if there is a puzzle you can't do yet, you can drop a pin on the map and come back to it. The game encourages you to as well meaningyou dont get stuck on 1 puzzle for hours. Throughout my 30 hours playtime I encountered 1 bug that could be bypassed but that's it. I know the PS5 version released riddled with bugs but as far as I've seen this version is very well done Overall this is a stellar game and absolutely perfect switch game that I cannot recommend more

Feb 20, 2022
Fantastic Incredibly well put together and enjoyable game. The team over at eidos really outdid themselves with this one. Pros - Amazing soundtrack - Well written characters which make you want to care about them - Graphics, game is gorgeous - Setting, you get to see plently of places across the marvel galaxy which are all very fun to explore and experience - Gameplay, fun and fluid like all games should be, small but great skill tree which adds a few abilities to you and your friends. All of which are fun to use. - Story, well written and enjoyable from start to end. Even emotional at times. - DRAX IS AMAZING AND SO FUNNY Cons - The game has pretty much no replay ability due to it being pretty linear. Most levels you will experience everyting without being able to explore. - Gameplay doesn't evolve enough, im the end you are still shooting bad guys with the same guns as you did in the beginning. - Ending could have done with a bit more fleshing out Overall I am very happy with this game and recommend it to anyone who likes marvel comics, movies, or games.

As you can see almost all the negative reviews are just bombs from playstation fans. The game is actually really good and one of the best halo games in a long time. Music, story, character are all the best they've ever been. This game only suffers from a lack of content. Small weapon sandbox, low amount of characters to support chief. And not an amazing explanation of what happened to the infinity. Multiplayer is fun but broken beyond repair with monetisation. Microtransactions are unacceptable in this condition.
