Tiene un planteamiento increíble que merece la pena ser desarrollado pero la dificultad es excesiva y las mecánicas abruman y aburren a las pocas horas. El problema de la dificultad es que no parece acompañar a la experiencia, no entiendo la lógica detrás de hacer un juego de generaciones de animales tan difícil e inaccesible. No puedes jugarlo ni acompañado en modos cooperativos. El fetichismo del precio se debe a su escasez, no a su calidad. En definitiva, con un mejor presupuesto y un enfoque diferente, este juego habría demostrado su potencial. Para aquellos que lo sepan apreciar, probablemente sea una joya oculta.

El juego puede no ser muy grande, pero es muy adictivo, pasé horas de diversión en solitario y con mi hermano en mi vieja PS3, no fue aburridor hacer el 100% con cada animal.
Ojalá una nueva entrega en la que hagan todo aún más grande y mejor.

People who say this game is too hard need to "git gud" because I **** at Souls-like games yet pretty much succeeded at this game. It takes time and effort but it's a good game for what it is. Had this game been given a bigger budget and been fleshed out a little better, with the addition of permanent stat increases, sewer shortcut unlocks, and progress checkpoints, this could have been one of my top 10 games of all time.

I definitely feel like if you own a PS3, then you owe it to yourself to check out Tokyo Jungle. It's a game that is almost literally a diamond in the rough, with some so-so visuals and lackluster presentation that doesn't instantly grab the casual observer, but if you manage to sit down with the game for a half hour or so, I think you'll find yourself hooked.

El juego puede no ser muy grande, pero es muy adictivo, pasé horas de diversión en solitario y con mi hermano en mi vieja PS3, no fue aburridor hacer el 100% con cada animal.

This is one of those rare gems that, for all its minor imperfections, is just so damn fun and unique that I can't help but love it and keep coming back for more. Descriptions really don't do this game justice, in fact, they might confuse you even more, but the core of the game is a survival action RPG - with animals. You roam the overgrown human-less city as one of many types of animals, fight and breed and equip them for better survival. There are unlockable story modes for different animals, but the real fun is in survival mode, where you see how far you can take a species up the ranks and brave all the other animals and environmental hazzards for generations. Chicks, dogs, bears, lions, elephans, cows, ostriches and many more. It's tough to rate a game that has nothing relatively close to compare it to, so I've based my rating on the fun factor and amount of content. You could make some minor improvements, but nothing worth up to 10% of the score, in my opinion - a perfect 10. Go play this game.

Tokyo Jungle is something unique that has a lot of potential but manages to fall short in a lot of areas. Replacing the looping music with a decent ambient track would've helped sell the setting and variation in gameplay for different animals would have given you a reason to pick one over another.

Fun quickly fades when trying to actually go through the game, with the experience being dragged down by the crazy inconsistencies of its own world, sloppy multiplayer, disgraceful graphics, annoying music, an overdose of repetition, and too many smaller glitches to count.

What can I say about Tokyo Jungle? It may not be a technical masterpiece with it's average-at-best graphics and choppy framerate and it sure as hell isn't a huge game in terms of scale with one reasonable sized map to play on - but what Tokyo Jungle succeeds at is re-playability. Each play-through of Survival mode will differ from the last, each playable animal differs from the last and you're more than likely to experience something new every time you play. In addition, story mode acts as a nice diversion from the main events. All in all, it's far from a perfect game but Tokyo Jungle has the right balance of everything that makes a game of its kind good and will keep you coming back for more - again and again.

Tokyo Jungle is a niche title if there ever was one. its graphics are early PS2, the sound is early PS1, and I feel personally that its over priced. The controls are simple and easy and they suffice for what is required which is basic survival in a world devoid of humans. you hunt, kill, feed, breed, and survive as one of only two animals in the beginning but after you achieve a few goals more animals unlock. Combat is simple just wiggle the right stick to dodge and press the square button to strike and the R1 button to bite (or kick if your playing as a herbivore) and of course if your a deer you can't survive a fight with a sabre tooth tiger (yeah I know you'll try, I did too). In the end, its highly addictive and the leaderboards add moderate reason to replay the survival mode plus there is ton of DLC available that adds to the roster and silly outfits for your animals that increase attributes. Its not my kind of game but I certainly can understand why some might enjoy it. overall its good in short bursts but won't keep you interested for more than an hour and I think its price should've been $9.99 (U.S.) but like I said, its not my kinda game.
