RE: Village is one of the most recommended games to play on PlayStation VR2 for many reasons. The first is that the base game is such a good title that if you haven't played it you should have, then another more than interesting reason is that the game can be bought for less than €30, so in terms of value for money it's a very attractive option. And then, as the initial game in the VR catalogue, it is a more than interesting piece, perhaps it was not created with virtual reality in mind, but it is one of the most powerful titles to launch your glasses.

If you fancy VR or love horror games and the Resident Evil series, you should definitely check out Resident Evil Village on the PSVR 2. Here’s hoping that the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake is getting a full VR Mode. Plus, it would be awesome to have Resident Evil 7 ported to PSVR 2 too.

First time playing RE Village was on the PSVR2 and i loved it. Village has a great story, characters, environments etc. I love the different diverse locations and antagonists you encounter through your journey of the game with the engaging story. Playing Village in VR on the amazing PSVR2 is such a engaging amazing immersive experience like no other, playing the game in VR on the PSVR2 is the best way to experience Village and only way i want to experience the game. 10/10 game and 10/10 VR experience.

Un must.

Resident Evil Village VR practically becomes a new game on the PSVR 2, thanks to Capcom taking every advantage of the hardware and wrapping its gothic horror goodness around players to maximum effect.

With this big update, Resident Evil Village is easily one of the spearheads of the PSVR 2. An essential experience for horror and ultra immersive game lovers. Capcom has done a masterful job and has taken advantage of the opportunity to offer new gameplay that is entirely optimised for Sony's headset. And the result is striking. Despite its few flaws, Village takes advantage of VR to give itself a new lease on life. Even the most reluctant players, who didn't find the original game impressive, will be taken on board in this nightmarish adventure. Some sequences are more gripping than ever. In short, with the PSVR 2, Resident Evil Village is more than ever an essential.

Resident Evil Village VR is far more than just a gimmicky afterthought, adding enough improvements and tweaks to justify fans of both the series and virtual reality reliving Ethan’s not-so-great European vacation one more time. While the controls be a little cumbersome as you take the time needed to master them and the VR perspective can cause a few awkward viewing angles, this is still a very enjoyable return to an already great game.

There’s some peculiarities when it comes to the scenes that were designed where control is taken away, and you can offset this by viewing them in a cinematic mode instead of VR first-person viewpoint, but aside some oddities (mostly early on) with hand positions, collision detection, your arms being weird floating tools, and weapons warping back to your inventory, but you get used to them pretty quickly. Resident Evil Village is another virtual-home run for Capcom’s series, just like Resident Evil 7 was. Oh but why it’s a free DLC item instead of a simple update, I’ll never know.

A neat enough bonus that squanders its potential with awkward implementation, and a sense of tactility that never quite feels natural enough. [Issue#26, p.74]

Thought it was great when it was on a TV. In VR, it's the ultimate experience. From reloading, firing off headshots, body positioning, to knife throwing, turning keys in drawers, panicking when you see awful creatures (lookin' at you baby), the awesome audio. It's the number one reason to buy PSVR2.

Amazing fun like RE7, excellent, already the first attack in the village was "horrible" fun.
