Mahou Arms reaches 1.0 after six years in Early Access, but the finished product still feels unfinished. Bloated level design, repetitive combat, confusing progression systems, and an unfocused story undermine its charming character designs and solid soundtrack, resulting in an action RPG that never lives up to its potential.
