It might be a little rough around the edges, but it's a glorious Zelda nostalgia trip with some fun action. [Issue #34 – July/August 2018, p. 75]
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition shows its age when compared to recent Warriors games, but for Zelda fans, there is no better way to experience a Zelda crossover with your favourite characters.
If the aforementioned nuisances such as mute characters are a turnoff in your eyes, you might want to consider spending your Rupees toward the more original Fire Emblem Warriors instead.

For a completely different genre take on a Zelda game, it’s executed flawless. It’s a best of the series, with a non-canon story that loops all games into the one. Loads of fun, simple gameplay that is always fun, a hard combination to successfully achieve, but they succeed.

This game for me is a 10/10, beautiful graphics, amazing soundtrack, full of references and easter eggs to other Zelda games. I enjoyed the two posterior entries of Hyrule Warriors but don't really like the artstyle as much as this one, and I feel the "wild" formula is already overused. I could never get tired of bloating thousands of Bublins into the air!

Bom jogo.

Those who have played the game on 3DS won’t find as much new content, but they may appreciate the much improved graphics and two-player mode. There aren’t many exclusive features for those looking to triple-dip, but having everything in one substantial and gorgeous package is enough to warrant considering playing the best version of this hack-and-slash game.

Not only is it one of the best Warriors spin-offs to date, but chances are you’re a Zelda fan if you own the Switch and it’s just a great spinoff of Link’s adventures altogether. Can it get repetitive? Sure, but that’s the nature of Action RPGs like this – Warriors games are essentially 3rd-Person Diablos without the loot hunt. Playing coop is a joy, the Adventure Mode is an awesome addition, and raising your own fairy is surprisingly cute and meaningful. With all the content on display, it’s worth the full price of entry.

I love this game. I loved it on the WiiU too. With a fresh coat of paint on the Switch version makes it look and run better for sure. Story is good (not great) The combat is good if you like this style. You have a lot of charaters to choose(some better then other. But over all Yes, this is an awesome game and better then AOC by a few scores.

Hyrule Warriors is back with an outstanding amount of content and a few quality of life adjustements that improve the basic formula. It gets repetitive and grindy at times, but if you like the musou genre, this purchase is a no brainer.

This is one of the most fleshed out and content-filled Warriors games I’ve seen in a long time, and even if you aren’t a Zelda fan, there’s still plenty here to charm you if you’re not turned off by the repetitive combat.

A great time-sink game, featuring mindless but fun action gameplay that offers up the potential for dozens - if not hundreds - of hours of content. Though it certainly feels like a game that’s too bloated in places, it manages to balance the Zelda and Dynasty Warriors elements well. Group all of that with stellar presentation and impressive portable gameplay, and you’ve got a game that does a great job of doing something new (and weird) with a classic Nintendo property.

The limping technical realization and the long-term repetitiveness of the game formula limit the expressive power of a production that perhaps deserved more fortune four years ago.

Zelda may have inspired one of the best Dynasty Warriors games to date but the end result is still well below average by any other standard.

This game is really stressful. Again as a warriors, the fun last as long as you enjoy the combat system. For me that's about 15 hours, after that it is just a drag. Also I hate that this game being the biggest crossover of Zelda characters is stuck with this gameplay that is not that fun and also has one of the worst 100% requirements ever. Even thought i wanted to get every character of my favorite franchise, i just couldn't do it.

This was one of my all time favorite games on the Wii U, but here we are on their 3rd release of the same game and there's still no online co-op. That means for all of those wonderful Adventure mode missions that just absolutely require a 2nd player to complete you're going to have to go over to your friend's house, bring your system, and play them all twice so you both get credit. It gets tedious fast. They really doubled down on the missions that require a 2nd player to the extent that it's a bad combination without giving us online co-op. It's a great game, one of the greatest ever made, but once was enough. It's time to stop milking every penny out of their fans and make a proper sequel with online co-op. Add some Breath of the Wild content! This is the best Warriors franchise rendition yet and it struck lightning on the Wii U, but it doesn't strike twice or three times as the case may be.

This is a very shallow game. A boring button masher, grindfest. Worthless and pointless. With so many amazing gaming experiences to be had, why waste your time playing this or any Warriors style game for that matter? It's baffling to me.
