Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP brings the beloved 2012 zombie-slaying classic back with smoother combat and new content. Protagonist Juliet Starling’s journey mixes humor and action, though the game’s pacing is slowed by overly long stages and gimmicky minigames. While boss fights underwhelm, the satisfying upgrade system and campy charm make it worth revisiting. The remake introduces quality-of-life improvements and additional cosmetic options for players to enjoy.

Lollipop Chainsaw is exactly the same unforgettable experience from 2012, for better and for worse. It has all the problems that games had at that time, and adds horribly embarrassing sound errors - but with them also adds a new sense of nostalgia and love for games as they were used to get made that will leave you room for one more candy.

Fun to play and with a natural and consistent humor, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is a simple and accessible experience, but it doesn't justify its price due to technical flaws, low content offering, and the feeling that little has changed after 12 years.

This is still a laugh out loud affair, though; a raucous and utterly ludicrous release that deserves to exist on modern hardware. But when the source material is this brilliant, it deserves an exceptional remaster – rather than one that’s just good enough.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP attempts to bring the fantastically charming and tongue-in-cheek zombie slasher to modern platforms. Unfortunately, the result is only just passable. The RePOP mode feels undercooked, the visuals are inconsistent and there are some notable effects missing from the original. While the improved framerate and gameplay changes are welcome, they're unfortunately not worth everything else that has been lost in translation.

A fun game with fan service that isn't without it's flaws. Zombie smashing and combos with a decent comedy story. It kept me entertained but there were some clipping and glitches but nothing game breaking, at a $40 price tag it's not a bad purchase bit finding a physical copy may be difficult.

A fun short hack and slash game to sit back and turn your brain off while you play. Killing zombies with a chainsaw hell yea! It does get a bit repetitive but I really like the whole concept of it and rarely did I get bored.

It is unbelievable that this new version of the game is worse than the original. Horrendous graphics, bad optimization and lack of the iconic songs.

I don't know why the hell anyone would make a game about a COLLEGE guy who fights ZOMBIES in SHORT CLOTHES and a chainsaw
