Beast of Reincarnation delivers a compelling action-adventure driven by an intriguing narrative, responsive combat, and a rewarding exploration system that consistently encourages players to venture off the beaten path. Character progression is tightly woven into exploration, while the game's atmosphere reinforces the mystery surrounding Emma's journey alongside her companion, Ko. Although it suffers from limited enemy variety, underwhelming boss encounters, and a handful of technical issues, Game Freak successfully establishes a new IP with a distinct identity and plenty of room to grow.

Halo: Campaign Evolved proves that great games never lose their shine. Rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5, it faithfully modernizes a landmark FPS while preserving the exceptional combat, memorable storytelling, and epic scale that cemented Halo as one of gaming's most influential franchises.

Denshattack! transforms an unlikely concept, performing skateboard tricks with high-speed trains, into one of the year's most inventive indie experiences. Its satisfying trick system, varied boss encounters, stylish presentation, vibrant visuals, and excellent soundtrack create a gameplay loop that remains consistently engaging, while more than 50 stages and numerous optional objectives provide strong replay value. The story, however, relies on familiar battle shonen tropes and forgettable characters, serving mostly as a backdrop for the action. Despite its narrative shortcomings, Denshattack! delivers an original and addictive gameplay experience that stands out through creativity and execution.

After years of navigating rough seas, the company has finally found solid ground, bringing Edward Kenway's legendary adventure back in great fashion. It's fair to say that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is everything fans were hoping for.

Although graphical limitations, technical issues, and uneven boss fights prevent it from reaching its full potential, it remains a fun and worthwhile experience for both fans of The Boys and VR newcomers.

Copa City moves the action off the pitch and into the behind-the-scenes world of football, delivering one of the most original concepts in the genre. Managing the entire infrastructure of a major sporting event is both engaging and rewarding, thanks to its solid management systems and immersive atmosphere. However, a confusing interface, insufficient tutorials, and a steep learning curve prevent its excellent concept from reaching its full potential. Even so, it's a creative experience that simulation fans should keep on their radar.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection refines the series with deeper turn-based combat, stronger storytelling and rewarding exploration. While repetitive side content and inconsistent AI hold it back slightly, its engaging progression, memorable monsters and polished presentation make it the strongest entry in the spin-off franchise so far.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales captures the charm of classic PS2-era action RPGs with engaging real-time combat, rewarding character progression, and a stunning HD-2D presentation. While its slow-paced opening and repetitive environments can affect the overall pacing, the game shines through its flexible customization systems, memorable soundtrack, and charming cast, delivering a fun and heartfelt adventure from start to finish.

EA Sports UFC 6 delivers excellent presentation, plenty of content, and the strongest UFC package EA has produced so far. Its new arcade-inspired mechanics won't please everyone, but solid combat, authentic atmosphere, and meaningful UFC integration make it an easy recommendation for MMA fans.

Marathon showcases Bungie's trademark gunplay with fluid movement, satisfying combat, and a striking sci-fi art style. The extraction-based gameplay creates plenty of tension and rewarding moments, especially for fans of the genre. However, confusing systems, poor onboarding, and an underdeveloped narrative make it difficult to recommend to a wider audience. Marathon is a solid extraction shooter with clear strengths, but its niche appeal and steep learning curve hold it back from greatness.
