With its large cast of playable heroes, each with their own special abilities, there's a lot of fun to be had with Big Helmet Heroes, especially when you also factor in the many, many items that can be picked up and utilised as weapons. Its combat feels a little shallow, however, and it's a bit rough around the edges on the whole.

Big Helmet Heroes is an action adventure beat ‘em up that sees you taking on the role of a little cast with big problems. The loony ways you can go on the offensive easily piles up hours of entertainment. Gratifying sounds and visually pleasing graphics adds even more value to the adventure. Troubling bugs and design choices throws a kink in the system, but doesn’t decrease the charm these huge noggins bring to the table.

Big Helmet Heroes provides a lengthy and varied campaign to brawl through. It does feel disjointed with levels not quite flowing together and the combat is light on depth. It's a forgiving game with a presentation that probably suits younger players. As such, I find it competent without feeling very memorable.

Big Helmet Heroes is colorful and has some very cute character designs. Unfortunately otherwise it is a pretty shallow button masher. The different heroes play mostly the same and have almost no depth to them. Especially in later levels it also becomes hard to keep track of your character, especially if you are playing with another person and there are a lot of enemies on the screen all using multicolored attacks.

Закрытые персонажи спрятаны черт пойми где, не подсвечиваются, не подсказывают где их искать, называется тыкай носом в каждый угол, авось и найдешь. Боёвка как в типичном битемапе, есть быстрая атака, есть сильная, а есть спец умение, ну ещё можно оружие подбирать и противников хватать, вот и весь геймплей, ни заклинаний, ни сочного визуала, хотя что тут ещё ожидать от детской игры. Однако в моём детстве игры с нинки и сеги, где противники смачно разваливались или разлетались на куски, смотрелись куда привлекательнее чем нынешние соевые игры, ну что ж, скудный игровой процесс и радужный визуал все что могут дать множество современных игр, и эта одна из них
