A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a horror masterpiece that contains the original recipe of this genre - tension, creepy atmosphere and excellent stealth mechanics. If you've ever wondered what it's like to live in the world that fell silent from the movie series of the same name, this game will give you an excellent impression of the eerie everyday life of survival.
As the game plods on with quiet predictability towards its watery conclusion by the sea, I'm left with the feeling this horror adventure missed the boat.
An original and compelling experience. No other game gives you so much excitement when opening the door.

I was thrown In the middle of something I didn’t understand at all Not sure what was happening and when I searched it there was other parts and supposedly other things that are not clear it’s all about It seemed interesting but with no context not worth playing

So your making no sound? No problem apparently the monster has a rubber band system where it will allways tether around you. Great so it's very often not even your own fault if he catches you. All in all horror games become very annoying when stupid jank happens, and it feels more like a rage game at that point then a scary game. I was standing in a corner waiting for the monster to follow his usual path, and he walked right into the corner where I was standing, not doing anything wrong.

I want to rate this a seven but there are no redeeming or interesting factors in this game. The story is super super super basic. " Hey, I'm pregnant in a world that is quiet and have to move to a different area to survive". The running/ asthma mechanic has to be the dumbest sprinting mechanic I've experienced, and I've played my fair share of games. It does make sense for the world but there's no way to recover except to find asthma medication or an inhaler. At the same time the "quiet one" or the main enemy in the game is underwhelming and extremely easy to outsmart. The gameplay is just acquiring batteries and asthma medication to survive and avoiding the "quiet one", that's really it. There are objectives but it's the same exact step by step every single level. I didn't expect a lot out of this game, but it definitely lowered my expectations.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead effectively captures the essence of the films by providing a game focused on avoiding noise and generating significant tension throughout the experience. It also features constant gameplay changes to keep you entertained the entire time.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a respectable effort in the survival horror genre and does a great job of implementing the same feel and atmosphere that made the movie series successful into a video game, using high-quality lighting and sound effects. On the other hand, however, the original story and characters of the game don't feel as fresh or as engaging when compared to the movies and the cut-scenes lack the quality you'd expect. In the end, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead might not be the perfect survival horror experience out there, but it is indeed unique and full of tension and distress.

Talvez o melhor jogo de terror do ano. Muito imersivo e tenso, talvez até mais que os filmes

This is one of the best video game adaptations of a film franchise both in terms of themes and mechanics that differ significantly from other games in the genre. Stealth gameplay is strong and is very fun to play

A survival horror with a strong stealth component, which forces you to experience the protagonists' story in absolute silence. The gameplay mechanics are well-tested and work quite well, the tense atmosphere is felt, but some questionable design choices and situations that tend to be repetitive partially undermine the player's involvement.

Even though A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead struggles to build and maintain any momentum by design, it's the perfect Quiet Place game. Sound, and it's absence, are the core of this game, for better and for worse. While some may drown in the quiet from the tedious pace, others will adore the serenity of its methodical nature and immense respect for the source material. Personally, I've never felt more on edge opening a door like I have playing this, and that's my screaming whisper of a compliment for it.

For better or worse, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead sticks firmly to the path laid out by the movies. The bloodthirsty Death Angels are terrifying menaces that force the player to make as little noise as possible, giving the early levels a creeping intensity. With developers not wanting to expand the lore or play around new threats, your slow walk to salvation quickly runs out of road.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a solid effort initially, but pacing issues, iffy creature AI, repetitive gameplay, and other issues hamper it.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead takes an interesting concept and fails to reach the mark, fizzling out into mediocrity before even getting started. The goal of remaining quiet is portrayed well with several successful mechanics (opening doors slowly, watching where you step), but becomes boring as the game fails to create engaging challenges while plummeting in quality. Fans of the franchise will get a kick out of this adaptation for the first few hours, but it's hard to imagine many players sticking around until the ending.
