I was thrown In the middle of something I didn’t understand at all Not sure what was happening and when I searched it there was other parts and supposedly other things that are not clear it’s all about It seemed interesting but with no context not worth playing

So your making no sound? No problem apparently the monster has a rubber band system where it will allways tether around you. Great so it's very often not even your own fault if he catches you. All in all horror games become very annoying when stupid jank happens, and it feels more like a rage game at that point then a scary game. I was standing in a corner waiting for the monster to follow his usual path, and he walked right into the corner where I was standing, not doing anything wrong.

I want to rate this a seven but there are no redeeming or interesting factors in this game. The story is super super super basic. " Hey, I'm pregnant in a world that is quiet and have to move to a different area to survive". The running/ asthma mechanic has to be the dumbest sprinting mechanic I've experienced, and I've played my fair share of games. It does make sense for the world but there's no way to recover except to find asthma medication or an inhaler. At the same time the "quiet one" or the main enemy in the game is underwhelming and extremely easy to outsmart. The gameplay is just acquiring batteries and asthma medication to survive and avoiding the "quiet one", that's really it. There are objectives but it's the same exact step by step every single level. I didn't expect a lot out of this game, but it definitely lowered my expectations.

Fantastic game. The setting, the atmosphere, the graphics, the controls, the suspense. Similar to Alien. Beautiful game. Woke? A bit yes (black woman with white parents. Probably adopted. White characters bad). Nonetheless, a beautiful game

It's a mixed bag. It's essentially a walking simulator, which is fine except that there are a few fundamental aspects to the mechanics which drag it down. First, you are constantly walking slowly, which means replaying sections after death is a pain. Plus the asthma aspect is just annoying - every climb, hurdle or brush with a monster triggers it. But look! Here's some asthma pills lying on a roof! It looks pretty good, and it's genuinely tense and unsettling. One of the best aspects is poking around in dark, abandoned buildings, but they ruined that by making the torch battery life so ridiculously short that you won't put your torch on for long periods, and all of the aesthetics are wasted. Worth a look if you pick it up on the cheap.

I’m really enjoying it. It is a slow mechanic survival horror that is all stealth. Couple of tricky mechanics, like the sound traps lol but overall very solid. Engaging story as well. Well done!!

you have zero chance to feel free. The game contains gameplay bugs, visual bugs, etc. Im fine with those aspects but theworst thing imo, the game is boring you lose the fear to the creature in like 20 minutes of gameplay because it is just stupid how it works. I played the game in the hardest difficulty and dropped it at the 2nd hour because it was extremely linear and easy. If you are a fan of the saga I guess it could be worth a try but It is very underwhelming.

A glorified game of horror hide & seek with the spice and nostalgia of a really enjoyable horror franchise. But playing hide & seek with an AI that gets programmatic advantages beyond the sound and track system. I can’t count the number of times redirected sounds, hiding in sound barriers, or following the tricks of the game didn’t count for anything. Did I make it through? Sure, but did every mechanic feel like it had programmed failure or instructions to make sure I failed at least once? Also yes. It relies HEAVILY on the source material, which I enjoyed, but because of that it also gave way to some rather slow and not terribly original writing and character developments. For its price, the experience is perfect. But it definitely left me wanting more.

Is the game fun? Yes. Is the game stupid? Yes. Almost everything in the game triggers the character's asthma. He walks in the ventilation but no sound is made. He climbs and descends somewhere but no sound is made. The automatic door does not make a sound, the doors you open close automatically. There is no sound in the places where there should be sound in the game, which destroys the believability of the game.

ManowarKill

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead has excellent atmosphere and level design, but a lack of polish in its mechanics, lighting, and the presence of superfluous mechanics makes playing the game feel more frustrating than it needs to be.

This is just the worst horror game I've ever played my entire existence. And one of the worst games I've ever played in general. This game so bad i felt that im getting scammed outta my time and energy. Miserable writing, dumpster level gameplay, and one of the most unimaginably bad level designs ever. Not mentioning the ps3 gen AI they got in this game. The game is basically entering an area with this broken creature and solving puzzles to get out, zero dynamacy. Plot is awfully awful, game is stalled to hell. Gameplay is just rotating valves and placing planks and dismantling traps at my grandma's speed so you can cross without the thing hearing you. And that's all what the game got for you for like 10 hrs or so. Luckily i didn't pay for this game. If u think this is a good horror game i honestly dk what to tell you. Wouldn't recommend this game for my worst enemy. And if i can give it a negative score i would.

Talvez o melhor jogo de terror do ano. Muito imersivo e tenso, talvez até mais que os filmes

This is one of the best video game adaptations of a film franchise both in terms of themes and mechanics that differ significantly from other games in the genre. Stealth gameplay is strong and is very fun to play

1. Bad graphic 2. Poor performance on PC 3. Weak plot, and doesn't make sense 4. Honestly, this game felt like a quick cash-grab scheme.

Concept intéressant et fidèle à l'esprit du film. La durée de vie est correcte pour son prix. L'ambiance est incroyable même si après quelques heures les monstres ne sont plus du tout effrayants.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much about a game based on A Quiet Place, but it does horror incredibly well. Very stress inducing, especially when you have to manage your character's noise levels and asthma. It's short, but a lot of horror games should take notes from this game.

What a surprise this game! I loved the movies, and this game is the perfect expression of what I was looking for in an AQP video game.

When it comes to survival horror my preferences have always aligned with the more traditional resident evil style combat heavy format, but among the run and hide sub-genre this definitely brings something interesting to the table. This is the first time I've ever played a game that actively listens to your mic and punishes you for making noise in real life, and just the priceless jump scares that came along with that were worth the price of admission. You'd think a simple premise like "just be silent" would get stale rather quickly, but throughout the campaign you're continually introduced to new obstacles and mechanics that manage to keep things pretty fresh. I did have one specific complaint and it's kind of a biggie - this isn't like Alien Isolation where you know the enemy is actually rendered in the environment somewhere and you're constantly dreading rounding a corner and running directly into it. Usually the game operates on a 3 strike rule - 3 sufficiently noisy mistakes within a certain timeframe and suddenly the monster just appears in a cutscene and kills you, so that was a bit formulaic and not quite as intense. But A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead overall is not lacking in the intensity department and if you enjoy those helpless horror games this should absolutely be on your to do list.
