Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream

User Scoresrosebrace
May 2, 2026
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream offers a more expanded game compared to its original JP game and the 3DS game However, despite having played 35 hours so far, it does show a lack of fun after a while. The game works perfectly for streamers and artists, but outside the laughs you get the first time around with events and characters speaking whatever you desire, it would get stale rather quickly with the same events and dialogue happening over and over. It's not a bad game, but it's not a game you could see yourself playing nonstop after the first 1-2 weeks have passed if you are not someone who enjoys making mii's and creating your own food, clothing ect

Pragmata offers a fresh new IP with promise, but lacks an interesting story you can follow. Its main appeal is more of the dynamic between Hugh and Diana, but that doesn't mean its story can be excused for being ok or forgettable. Combat offers a fun and engaging loop that can become a bit repetitive after a while, but it tries to freshen it up throughout the game For its side and post content, the game lacks badly and suffers from not having a lot of replay value after beating the game, unless you like replaying the game in NG+, a harder difficulty, or secret training sim levels for meeting certain requirements. Its base difficulty also falls flat, being too easy even on the supposed "Normal" difficulty. If you wish to play it on a harder difficulty, you're out of luck until you beat the game once to unlock Lunatic difficulty

Silent Hill F felt like a game that has the DNA of the old SH games but has an identity crisis with its combat, and feels more like a standalone game, not related to the SH IP Its story is still filled with complete SH love of what makes the games so loved, but it loses its fun when you enter the otherworldly/dark shrines, where it feels less impactful and more of a jumbled mess of ideas thrown around to pad out the time. It's combat that is the most glaring problem, making the game feel too much like an action game, and the late game gives up, becoming the equivalent of RE5's Chris punching a boulder in an active volcano moment.

Lost Soul Aside is a clear vision of Yang Bing's love for the DMC and FF IPs, but his vision was not done to perfection It's clear the studio is new and inexperienced compared to industry veterans, but not every studio can release their first game and let it become a 10/10 game; they have to start somewhere. Its story is soft and predictable, its cast can be dull, the soundtrack, however, is the biggest highlight out of all; it's very clear they got the FF vibes well Its combat is at the beginning very basic and weak, but once you reach chapter 1, you will unlock far, far more to make the combat enjoyable

What Koijma understands well is creating a weird but interesting game with a hard-hitting story that hits and hurts you emotionally with every corner Koijma has been able to create a game that feels like a journey that makes you view stuff differently, but you can't explain why and how It's what makes Koijma so great by being such a creative man.

Concord is the new 5v5 hero shoot from PlayStation studio’s firewalk studio, a beautiful setting filled with so much craft and glow of color from the devs creating something beautiful to them, despite the unnecessary and really repectless behavior from many who put there political agenda to the forefront with no shame to attack and destroy any form of entertainment in the video game space, concord still shines bright with charm and fun gameplay, even if the player count is not up to standards finding matches still is fast and steady making it easy to get in and do a few rounds

Stellar blade is a beautiful and amazing game from shifty up developing there first ever AAA game for the ps5, the combat is fluid, the story is weird (don’t take it seriously because it takes inspiration from the Bible) and a lot and I do mean it a lot of fan service The main complaint I have is, the amount of side quests they throw at you, a few areas not having a map system, and late game the combat becomes way to focus on wanting you to parry with too manyenemies in a area 9/10

{review in proggress) as of right now FFVIIR is a love letter to the original 1997 ps1 game that made many people fell in love with the FF series to begin with, the open world/zone areas feel fun and feel expansive to explore with stuff that is not a long chore check list, combat still feels amazing and smooth while making it a bit faster pace, the story (currently in costel del sol) is wonderfull and feels at times even better then the 1997 version

Helldrivers 2 took me by massive surprise with how fun and enjoyable the game truly is, normally I never get 10/10 to games but helldrivers 2 deserves that spot, the love and passion arrowhead studios has put in is very noticeable, with its cheesy democracy jokes to make fun of how ridiculous this game is, to being killed by a alien with no head still moving for 5 seconds (or just being crushed by a giant alien leg that you just killed) while yes the online servers are currently a bit slow and broken but the core gameplay and playing with friends still work perfectly that it’s a fun and all night long session worth title! I’m doing my part!

Foamstars felt and plays like a refreshed version of splatoon while feeling original and fresh The game lacks many gamemodes however the characters you play as make it all up for it, the maps feel colorful and fun and the music tracks feel perfect and just a amazing time, while the gameplay feels close to splatoon it feels different enough that it isn’t a copycat while bringing new things to the table in this hero like foam shooter

Feb 1, 2024
Silent hill: the short message is a good direction for the silent hill after a long hiatus after PT and **** machine, while short it’s a good experience for new comers to the SH franchise to get them hooked to play more of the older games (that sadly are hard to play due to value in the after market) the only major complaint would be the final chase being frustrating with frame dips and the pacing for some parts in the chapters

I will say 1 thing… This game is literally a DLC expansion to call of duty modern warfare 2 (2022) that adds little to no worthwhile content to pay for a 70$ expansion 16 remastered maps from mw2 2009 30 new guns All gun progress and bundles available at launch A really crappy campaign and zombies mode While not being under Xbox publishing yet I still put much blame on Xbox and Microsoft just as much on ABK for making such a terrible game

Spider man 2 made you feel like spider man too The sequel to the critically and beloved first game is back in full swing and improved on many thing, it’s open world is twice the size, two spider man’s to play as, both with similar Gadgets but play slightly different, a amazing blockbuster main story and side quest that felt like being a spidey in nyc, its new travel method: the wing glide is a perfect new feature that makes the game so much more fun and swinging around so much more fun, it’s fast travel system is incredibly impressive despite not using it. Pro’s -combat improved on -it’s story is a blockbuster masterpiece -swinging around is improved -side quest felt fun and felt like what spider does to help nyc Con’s -unlocking fast travel felt a bit pointless -it’s stealth felt slightly downgraded -endgame content could have been improved on 9/10

Final fantasy 16 is the newest installment in the beloved final fantasy franchise A new world, new characters, old retuning characters and monsters and a brand new story to tell Ff16 tells one of the most strongest story a ff has ever gotten next to 6 and 14 It’s combat feels smooth and responsive while letting you mix and match with all the eikons (Aka the summons) ability you receive throughout the game It’s side characters is what makes the game so much better A highlight has to be cid, Exploring the world may at times feel not as good as the more liner parts of the game but even then the world has so much charm The big battles show how square Enix knows how to hype up stuff while making it feel like a masterpiece The music alone would blow any ff fan away with how beautiful and amazing it is Side quest on the other hand have been a somewhat 50/50 spilt The majority of early side quest are dull and boring with not much effort put in But when you reach the mid to end game quest you start to receive more story focused side quest that can feel emotional and even impactful to the characters you play or go with A most have for final fantasy fans Collapse

Overwatch released back in 2016 to massive love from everyone, winning game of the year even Yet 6 year later blizzard figured out how to screw up the launch of its “sequel” to the massive and popular game that so many used to love As many have already pointed out the launch was a complete disaster to everyone including blizzard themselves 2 ddos attacks not to far from each other, a queue that makes any mmorpg player think they had it already worse with any new expansion launch, account not receiving there ow1 progress back (rank, coins, cosmetics ect) require to have a sms to verify (as of blizzard new way to prevent banned players to easily get back in) Overwatch “2” plans to become free to play was made for many people as a good intention but in reality blizzard had a different idea for why it had plans to go to f2p A idea of how to profit more from it fans Overwatch “2” uses now a battle pass and paid ingame currency to make the game profit instead of doing its old yet classic and nostalgic lootboxes New players who want to unlock everything would need to pay 12K$ to unlock all skins This “sequel” feels more like a 1.1 rather than. Actual feel sequel Would we recommend playing the game? Currently at launch like this No
