This is, without a doubt, the worst re-release **** in 3D I've ever seen. Imagine spending your money on this game, fighting the bugs, glitches and the "internal server error" for an HOUR. You're finally getting into the game, it finally loaded, and you're in the tutorial, to learn all the new mini-games, but you're frustrated, so you swear, I mean, it's fine, this is the tutorial, you're alone in your room... but nope. You're banned. The game is listening to you all the time. Even in private lobbies, with friends. And it doesn't matter that I'm 37 and my friends are all similar in age to me, you can't swear in this game... in a private lobby. Oh, sure, you can use Discord instead, but you lose the proximity chat that way. At that point, it doesn’t feel like moderation; it feels like surveillance. As I'm in the EU, I am filing an official GDPR complaint. See, even with consent, even if I agree to this very concerning number of privacy agreements to sign, this is still illegal. In the EU, even if a company gets users to agree to voice monitoring, that doesn’t automatically make it legal. Under GDPR, collecting personal data (which includes voice recordings) requires legitimate justification, and "moderation" isn’t always enough to meet that standard. There are strict limits on what companies can do with voice data. They would need to: - Clearly inform users how their voice data is being recorded and used. - Offer a way to opt out if players don’t want their voices tracked. - Store data securely and do not retain recordings longer than necessary. - Do not use voice data for purposes beyond moderation without explicit user approval. Currently, I have no trust in this company or this game, and I advise everyone to steer clear.

Dustborn

Representation, equality, love... lofty goals that developers often claim to pursue in their games. Unfortunately, Dustborn falls short of achieving these ideals. Let’s start with the premise. The idea of weaponizing voice, speech, and words is undeniably intriguing and fresh for gaming. But while this mechanic has potential, it isn’t groundbreaking. It echoes earlier works like Preacher (1995–2000) by Vertigo Comics, written by Garth Ennis and illustrated by Steve Dillon. That said, the execution here is overshadowed by a major flaw: the protagonist. The main character comes across as an unlikable bully. From the very beginning, the game thrusts players into morally murky territory as the "heroes" murder police officers who are merely doing their jobs. While one character shows a shred of remorse, the rest of the crew seems disturbingly indifferent. This disregard for human life becomes a pattern, and the main character consistently dominates the narrative, imposing their views on both the group and the player. Then there’s the promise of representation. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I should feel seen, celebrated even, in games like this. Instead, Dustborn serves up a diverse cast that feels shallow and disconnected. I couldn’t relate to any of them. Compare this to games like Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, or Skyrim, where customizable characters allow players to truly inhabit the game world. These titles offer freedom, letting players forge their own identities within the story. In contrast, Dustborn’s approach feels prescriptive, forcing players to engage with a cast that’s diverse on the surface but ultimately hollow. It’s not all bad, though. The art style is phenomenal. The world of Dustborn is visually striking, with bold colors, inventive designs, and a unique aesthetic that’s immediately captivating. The visuals promise a depth and vibrancy that the narrative sadly doesn’t deliver. Ultimately, Dustborn exemplifies the pitfalls of token representation and heavy-handed storytelling. Its compelling concept and breathtaking art are undermined by an unlikable protagonist and a cast that fails to resonate. Representation in games matters, but it needs to be meaningful and relatable, not just a checkbox. To developers: if you're going to tackle these themes, do better. There’s an audience hungry for authentic stories that celebrate diversity without sacrificing player agency or meaningful connection.

PSN required. Runs using EOS malware. Is a planned, soulless live service. Costs money to play. There are valid issues with the game. All this whining about "woke this, DEI that" is about as stupid as it gets. Ultimately, at the end of the day what you should judge is what you get served before you, not the things around it. Is this a good game? It's fine and that's an issue. It's just fine, it's not good enough to make me forget about EOS and PSN requirements or that it's designed to make money as a live service instead of being a good game that people want more of, turning it into a live service. It's cynical to think that you can just manufacture what games like Counter-Strike grew naturally... and it rarely works. I got a refund, currently, as I write this, there are not enough players for me to find a game... during summer vacation in Europe when kids have nothing better to do. That's all up to the up-front cost of the game - that is a hard bar to jump over when giving a game with so many fallings a real try. Especially for kids who have Fortnite and **** already. With Valorant and Counter-Strike around... "Just fine" doesn't cut it with a premium price point and so many more hoops to jump before you can enjoy the game... Don't bother with this one, it's dead on arrival.

Is it a bad game? No, hell no, it's a good game, great even! It just doesn't feel like Final Fantasy... The core of FF games is the characters, the party and here we don't have a party. We're solo so much and supporting characters pop up here and there, but they're not always with you, so there is no building bonds between the characters... or between you and the characters. The main character therefore isn't being challenged, he doesn't evolve or change or grow as a person... He's the same at the end as he was at the start. Then there's the loot. The loot is boring. It's the most barebones stat increase (your +5 to attack). There's no fun there, no elemental effects, no flair... a sword is a sword, nothing more. Then the whiplash effect of the storytelling and gameplay is separated. There is no blend of story and gameplay. The story is given to you as cutscenes and gameplay is a whole other thing. That's the old-school way to approach storytelling in games and it just doesn't work. The game takes away the control from the player so often and in such a jarring way... The gameplay itself is amazing, fighting feels great! The thing is, this is like Devil May Cry more than Final Fantasy! I like both, I like Bayonetta too... I... I just want my jRPG to be a jRPG... Levels are pointless, gear is pointless, and everything I expect from a Final Fantasy is just an afterthought. It's really a phenomenal game, really worth playing and the price tag! Just be aware that it's not a jRPG title, this is a character action game. If you go into it like me, expecting an epic jRPG game, you will come out both disappointed and satisfied at the same time. Final Fantasy is changing... and I am not sure if I'm allowed to love it, I am unsure if the future of the franchise is bright. I mean, I was harsh on Bethesda for gutting Fallout 4's RPG mechanics... so I should be critical here too, it's just fair... but this one is so damn good... Ehhh...

Why does this even exist? And why do I keep buying Blizzard games expecting the old Blizz from... these people!? This is the most boring game ever. Once you leave the honeymoon phase of the first levels you start to see the grind. And not the good grind, the mindless grind of the same enemies repeatedly. The story is a joke, the gameplay feels prohibitive and boring, the scaling for enemy levels feels off, and you fight the same guys repeatedly... It's just so damn boring and tedious to play. There's no joy or even anger it's just mind-numbing dumb gameplay. The game looks good but that's about it... So imagine this game as a sports car driving in deep mud. The wheels are spinning but you're getting nowhere fast. This is a chore to play and if I wanted chores, trust me, gaming would be the last thing on my mind. Of course, it's a live service game, so I expect they'll sell solutions to the problems they've made here... What a fall from grace. I knew that shutting down Blizzard North would just ruin Diablo but the state of the franchise now is beyond bad.

This is a great game and a great remake. It's one of the best releases of the year. I enjoyed it for what it is - a remake. Complaining about changes makes little sense to me given that the original is widely available as well... and it's a well-optimised title to boot! This is easily a 10/10 release. But... ...big, fat, smelly but... ...Capcom decided to add, AFTER THE RELEASE, after most of the reviews were out and after selling record amounts of copies... pay2win microtransactions to the game. Buyable weapon upgrades were added to a title that depends on a fragile balance. That's a remake of a retro game, a game from the era of cheat codes and these are buyable ones. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth and is so disappointing...

I am not a fan of the books, never read them. When people my age were reading them I was deep in the world of Ice and Fire. I watched one and a half of the movies... I don't know anything about pottery or doubledoor or whatever disease a hermione is... I do like me an RPG however. This is a good game. A bit light on the RPG mechanics but filled with interesting characters and set in an amazing world. But again, I know nothing of the books, the lore or the author. Technically, this game squeezed my PC hard with some stuttering. It is really hungry for both RAM and VRAM. Some optimisation might be needed still but it's a great game. Kinda makes me think back to Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War, a surprisingly good game based on a book series but telling its own story... One thing I would add is the interactiveness of the world. Most NPCs are just window dressing but they don't even react when I cast a dangerous spell... Even in Driver San Francisco the pedestrians, while impossible to hit, would at least move out of the way and acknowledge the potential danger and that's one old game... These folk just stand there unbothered. Kinda messes up the immersion.

Also, the MACROtransactions are way, way out of hand here - the devs wanted to simulate what it really means to buy these expensive cars... by jacking up the prices in-game to correspond with IRL cars. What a stupid excuse for greed. So much for stress-free driving the cars, you can't own, in a video game... Pathetic. Gran Turismo is dead.

So it's a bad game. It crashes. Promised 4+ hours of new cutscenes aren't in the game. There have been more things removed than added. It doesn't look all that good. The new UI is just terrible. The performance leaves much to be desired. Trailers and promotional materials are filled with lies. The campaign is the same as it was 18 or so years ago, nothing new was ever added. None of the above should equal to a low score of 0 I'm going to leave, 1, perhaps 3 for nostalgia's sake... But no, Blizzard had to go even further. Custom maps, the user-generated content that in the past from WarCraft III spawned not just new games, but genres, has been "reforged" by Blizzard as well. You no longer own your work, Blizzard owns it (that LoL/Dota thing still stings, eh Blizz?). Add to that a massive amount of removed features and restrictions put onto the custom maps creators and there's no point in even trying. But even that isn't as big of an issue as the... Oh, just read the next part. WarCraft III and WarCraft III: Reforged have been merged into one. Attempting to ignore the new and busted game and going back to what you know and love is as difficult and annoying as possible. There's some obscure link to where owners can download the game from Blizzard, there's the installing from an original CD or piracy... I don't know if you can even play the old WarCraft III online anymore due to all this mess. I'm done. Strike 3, Blizz. It's been a ride.

Another Need For Speed game without wheel support and cockpit view. Seriously, I don't sit on the roof of my car when I drive, EA! It plays well with a controller, but why would you bother? You see, they've played it safe this time, there's no crazy gimmick, no good writing, no good acting, it's Need For Speed. Car customisation looks good, the visual customisation is easy to understand and use, the tunning of cars however is lacklustre and just a number game - something gives you a 0.2% more horsepower, just install it. The biggest problem is in a variety of races. There's less here to do than in games from well over a decade ago making Need For Speed Heat boring after but a handful of races. Cars are given to you relatively fast and they look amazing, but this game is way, way too easy. Not to mention that most racing games these days look impressive and while Frostbite can look really, really good... even indie projects look better these days. Among good looking games, this one is somewhere below the first 5 that come to your mind. The good thing is the damage model, you can actually damage a car you're driving, but it has no impact on handling or speed, so... pointless. I'm sorry to say, but it's not worth the full price. Wait for a price drop.

Keep your pre-order bonus Rockstar, I'm getting a refund and waiting for a stable, fairly priced (60USD for a year-old game that's broken on release?) version on Steam, hopefully with some singleplayer DLC on top... oh, you don't do that anymore, it's online with overpriced microtransactions or nothing. I have a love-hate relationship with Paradox. On one hand, I know they can make an amazing game, on the other hand... the base game or any future DLC might break the whole thing. And then there's the DLC issue, mainly the fact that most of the cool things come only as DLC. Take Crusader Kings II, the base game is fun and all, but the really good things are in DLC and there's a LOT of DLC and it all costs a fortune. Don't believe me? Well, for the cost of a CK2 and all the DLC I could buy a good, used car... or pay my rent for three months. Yeah... Here's the point - Imperator: Rome doesn't feel like a finished game, more like a platform to sell DLC. Politics are a joke, trade basically doesn't exist, characters have no point to them, battles are illogical and based on dice rolls (like in Europa Universalis, but even worse due to the technology level)... This game looks like a complex military and politics grand strategy game with a multitude of resources to balance and micromanage... but truth be told all the mechanics in this game are shallow, dressed up to look impressive but for someone who played almost all of Paradox's games it won't take long to figure out that there's one resource you truly need... and that it's abundant. To say that I'm disappointed would be being kind, and I'm not kind. This game is blatantly filled with placeholder mechanics for their DLC to fix over time. Don't be me, wait, give it a few years...

Shonen Jump, if they wanted to, could stand up there next to Marvel. Unfortunately not with this game. I want to get this out of the way - bugs. They happen and I'm usually very forgiving with them, as bugs can get fixed with patches but this game can at times be unplayable for reasons beyond my understanding. My PC is well above recommended specs and yet I seem to be unable to avoid occasional frame drops, despite going to such lengths as lowering all the settings as low as possible and lowering the resolution. Crashes seem to occur for no apparent reason, as the game can crash because you took a step... This is an unoptimised game. Worse yet, it's a Japanese game and that means you don't get the options menu until you're about an hour into it and upon reaching said options menu you'll find out that the game's graphics have been set to the max from the get-go, meaning people with weaker computers will get a terrible first impression of the game while approaching the refound time's limit. That was a stupid decision, but most Japan made games do that, hiding the options from the user... Stupid, stupid design philosophy, especially on PC. Another thing is the graphics themselves. Set in a realistic looking world it looks amazing, the scenery, costumes, props, weapons all look amazing! And then you see the characters and... the art direction was misguided at best. While designs like Kenshiro, Light Yagami or Cell work perfectly with the style and Piccolo's model is a thing of beauty... Goku, Vegeta, Trunks and all characters from One Piece are a thing of nightmares. I just don't know what's wrong with Goku's head/neck but I do know that it made me not want to go to bed... ever... again. That and his sausage arms. Seriously. Bad art direction. But all that is what you see, bugs and even models can be changed, improved, what cannot be changed are two most important parts: story and gameplay. The story is simple, Shonen Jump characters are from parallel universes, and someone is attacking all of us, while mixing realities, go stop them. Barebones story to set up a crossover. And it would be fine if the writing was good, but it's not. Most characters lack their character beyond the skin-deep tropes. Goku and Luffy like to eat, the first time it was charming. 24234 time it was not. Those aren't characters we know and care about, those are puppets that cannot be anything more because every second a new one appears. It's just bad fan service. But all that can be forgiven because the gameplay is solid, right? Right? It's solid, right? Ever played Xenoverse? Maybe those Naruto games or the My Hero Academia one? They all play the same and here it's even more basic due to the variety of skills from mismatched universes that simply weren't designed to work alongside each other. Unless you're trying to tell me that City Hunter protagonist can survive Goku's punch and that his bullets are more than enough to damage Goku. Goku, who as a child got shot by Bulma and had a small scratch. Even if you suspend your disbelief the gameplay is the same old Xenoverse variant, only more limiting as you can't fly and all these heroes have the stamina of a chainsmoking obese man. The combat looks really nice but plays predictably and is boring... There's a character creator and it's limiting beyond reason. I wasn't able to recreate myself, I wasn't able to recreate any anime character that I felt was missing from the game. There are 5 or 6 maps that are reused all the time. The lack of English voice acting is yet another thing... And those things just add up to a subpar game. Sadly, I can't recommend this game to anyone. Yet, not even Shonen Jump readers should pick this game up.

I finally got to give the game a shot and... this is unplayable. Graphics are a downgrade from the previous game. Just compare the textures or water effects, what you have in Just Cause 4 looks terrible! Even the explosions somehow look less impressive than what they used to. But okay, so the game looks bad, how does it play? That was promising when I saw that game uses about 8 GB of RAM and VRAM is reasonable as well... but the framerate... I couldn't get a stable 30 fps in this game on a mid-range PC, and searching the internet shows that you need the top of the line GPU to play this game at 60 fps in a reasonable resolution! RTX 2080 TI is REQUIRED to play the game at around 60 fps in 1440p... Yeah, a game that looks about as good as Just Cause 2 and most players can't even play it at a reasonable resolution and framerate. I won't even mention the crashing, glitching, nonsensical AI, castrated gameplay, terrible UI, the return of vomit inducing motion blur... because chances are high that you won't be able to run the game anyway, so why even bother?

I want to puke. When I play, when I watch this game... I want to puke. It's 2018 and here is a AAA game without an FoV slider? It this a joke!? Okay, okay... I started from the middle, let's back out for a while. Fallout is my beloved franchise, has been since the first game, I love the second game, I enjoyed New Vegas, I didn't like the change of philosophy of Fallout 3 and I was severely disappointed by Fallout 4... I played them all, even the spin-offs, the terrible PlayStation 2 one too. I've seen Fallout at its best and its worst, yet never in my wildest dreams would I expect this. The game is glitchy, something everyone forgives Bethesda every, single time. Not this time, not in a multiplayer only game. A balanced, fair and smooth experience is necessary for an online game! This thing isn't ready for public consumption, not for that price, not when it's comparable to all other survival games on Steam in terms of gameplay and worse than them in terms of stability and connectivity! This shouldn't have been released to the public for another 2-3 years of intense development! And all that with a patch that's bigger than the game!? What were you thinking Bethesda!? This, being a survival game and not an RPG, means that there's no NPCs, no story, no investment. A truly dead and barren wasteland and that, my friends, means that the game is boring. Walk, shoot, gather, walk, shoot, gather... nothing more, nothing less. Oh, "but it's fun with friends", I hear you saying - well, so was watching "The Room" and playing "Ride to Hell: Retribution". Everything is fun with friends because, at the very worst, misery loves company. But wait, there's more... because the same old, busted, barely working game engine is yet again back with all of the glory of the stumbling old, drunk man reliving his youth. The lengths to which developers try to obfuscate the engine's limitations include varying quality of textures and the most distracting visual depth effect I have ever seen! This, being an online game, means that modders won't come to fix it this time as modding will probably be a heavily monitored aspect of the game, Bethesda's paid mods service will probably be the only way to make this game playable. Oh, the framerate is also locked, not that it matters when the game hasn't been optimised at all. And I hear you saying "don't like it, don't play it". Fine. I want my money back, but Bethesda won't give me my money back! The game's not on Steam, their launcher is a broken mess as well (it can delete the game files or not allow you to uninstall the game at all) and their refund policy takes so damn long just for you to hear "no"... This game is a disaster. Bethesda is just Bethesda, they publish great games but make garbage themselves lately. Don't waste your money on this one.

For all those years one question doesn't leave my head... Why aren't there more games like this? Not even in the Star Trek brand, but at all? How come nobody knicked the gameplay of this game yet? Between Elite Force games and Bridge Commander we could've had something amazing, alas it never happened. When a game from the creators of "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons", a game I loved to death, reminds me more of "Ride to Hell: Retribution" than anything else... you know I'm not going to be happy. Let's start with the good things. Only one person needs to buy the game for you and your friend to play it, that is amazingly good practice, especially since the game is tied to EA, the most greedy **** ever. Graphics are good, stylised and nice to look at. Music is also good. I have not seen any major bugs and a few I did saw I wasn't able to reproduce, so that's a good thing. But none of that matters as two major aspects of this game are terrible - story and gameplay. If you ever saw any action movie you can predict every single thing that's going to happen with ease. Cliches and tropes abound in this game and I see no replay value whatsoever. But even that could work if the game was fun... It's not. Did you ever want puzzles with answers so obvious you'd need to be a toddler not to get it? Well, you're in luck! Shooting mechanics are clunky and feel just wrong all the while the enemies are bullet sponges. Doesn't matter if you aim at their toes are do headshots, 20 rounds per enemy... But wait, there's more, as the game basically plays itself with little to no input needed therefore removing any and all challenge and completely nullifying satisfaction. This is nothing more than a movie that requires your occasional input and that would be okay if the story was interesting... but it's not! "A Way Out" is a waste of time and money. Technology and the idea were there, but the implementation of gameplay and writing of the story got lost on the way. There's nothing here! Nothing but that empty space where the hype lived once. Sadly, I recommend you avoid the game.

EA made a mistake. They allowed people to play the game before it was released. For me it's great, I had the chance to play and cancel my pre-order. This is yet another game this year where I canceled a pre-order or just didn't bother getting it at all, everything because of loot boxes. This game, however, this game takes the idea and **** the community with it. Pay to win. In a premium priced, multiplayer game. Holy **** if I were Disney Corporation I'd cut my ties with EA after this **** The game looks and sounds amazing, the gameplay is fun, everything we've asked for from the previous game is here... and they've ruined it with microtransactions. Don't buy this game, it's not worth the money they ask for it. The very idea of having loot boxes forces me to recommend this game at only one price point: free. At this point, I'll pick the game when it's free or I'll buy it after ALL the microtransactions will be removed. You should do that as well. EA is not to be trusted anymore. DICE is not to be trusted anymore (just go watch Angry Joe's interview with the developer, they're not innocent in this). This game isn't a game, it's a money printing scheme, so don't give them your money.

Holy **** this is bad... So no driving wheel in a driving game. Great. Just great. You upgrade your cars with... cards. CARDS!? WTF!? This isn't Hearthstone, this is Need For Speed('s corpse). Rubberbanding - terrible, just nonsensical to the point of getting ridiculous. Every cool action, every ump, every stunt the game takes control away from you and does by itself hence killing any satisfaction of fun. Or a seamless gameplay feeling. No cockpit view. The Crew had a cockpit view and this crap... okay, calm down. So you can't leave the road for a second as the game, instead of allowing you to correct yourself just restarts you back on the road in a manner of seconds. Every race seems the same. The story is boring and filled with cliches. Bad acting, as always in Need For Speed. Can't destroy any cars. No damage model. Everything is checkpoint race. Even running from cops. You can lose the cops but if you omit checkpoints, oh boy, you are busted. It's a boring grind filled with cutscenes and checkpoints with a terrible story and awful acting.

I once said that if Call of Duty will return to World War II I'll give it another chance. Well, here we are. One of the most vivid games in my memory is the first Call of Duty, the campaign that made me simply happy to play and replay it over and over. This time around the campaign is amazing. I love it. Characters are great, the story is compelling and both audio and visuals are of the best quality I have ever seen in CoD. I can see myself playing it again and again alongside the first games. Props on this one. And man, I wish I could buy a singleplayer only for a third of a price because the rest of this game... Zombies have zombies. Enough said. I vomit with zombies. Movies, TV, games, zombies are everywhere. They are boring. They were boring years ago. Just stop making zombie games and movies already! They've been done to death... Pun intended. Multiplayer is weird. You have that new hub section where a bunch of people run around, open boxes with random **** and do nothing but look for a menu to see the multiplayer modes. It's confusing at first but it is a good idea... but seeing loot boxes being open, seeing other people getting some random junk made me realize that the point of this hub is to gloat about your loot. Nothing social or interesting takes place here, just consumerism at its finest! The gameplay itself is like CoD of old. No recoil, no strategy, no thinking. Maps are built with sniper nests and choke points from grounds up, so... every game looks exactly the same. It gets boring after a while and because of how weapons handle you feel like the game was programmed as your first shooter - when you're done go play something better (most games are better). To sum this up. Singleplayer campaign is an easy 9/10, multiplayer is for me 3/10 (7/10 for CoD players) and zombies is about -1000/10. It's a shame you can't buy just the singleplayer, I'd pay for that.

If you look long and hard you can find here my review of the first episode. Didn't like it, or rather, my recommendation was to re-found it. Got a whole season as a gift and decided to give it another shot. Most of the bugs and technical issues I saw back when the first episode was out got fixed, the game keeps the resolution, bugs and glitches, although still there, aren't as prevalent and they've fixed the controller issues on PC. Nice. Now bugs are mostly reserved for animations, like Batman's head looking to his let for a whole episode, to the point where it looked like he had a broken neck. Funny, but didn't happen after I tried to get it again to get a screenshot, so... good. Graphics look dated, animations are stiff and really funny (walk animations are just laughable!). In game assets are being reused for different locations and that's distracting. Sometimes audio just cuts off, that awkward silence, sometimes lip syncing is so bad that people talk without opening their mouths, sometimes dialogues refer to options I didn't pick in previous episodes, yet are considered as something I did anyway... There is a lot of bad here, but the meat is the story and characters... Story is predictable and boring, at this point perhaps, I'm too familiar with Batman to be surprised by anything. Characters don't look like anything you've seen, the designs aren't from any known incarnation of Batman making them rather forgettable and bland. Harvey Dent doesn't look like a district attorney but more like an athlete, Oswald Cobblepot is British despite being from Gotham and looks like any normal guy would, no deformities we associate with Penguin are present. Okay, the cast looks like they belong in Archer, Perhaps Telltale wanted to make a game in Archer universe, but got Batman instead...? The story and plot point are predictable and, in my opinion, too much is crammed into it. Did we really needed Two-Face so soon? Wouldn't it be better to keep him as Harvey, build up a relationship with Bruce then use Two-Face in season 2? The only character that faithful to the original is Catwoman and she's a blast whenever she's on screen, be it in costume or not. Overall, it's not bad, not great either. Telltale, at this point, should start changing their way, improving upon the formula that gave then success, yet they prefer to stick to what works, washing down all the good will build up until now. They need better writers and new animators, perhaps stop relying on QTE for action sequences and implement more player driven mechanic. I think Batman is a prime example of Telltale running out of creativity... I won't say to re-found this, but get it only if you're a huge Batman fan or if it's cheap as dirt. I got it as a gift from a friend as I would never buy it myself.

This is a great game with a terrible multiplayer that's filled with microtransactions. Yes, a AAA, full priced game with microtransactions, thanks to that multiplayer is a grind, dull, long, painful grind. I waited before buying this game for a long time, about a year, because I wanted to wait for single player DLC... that never came. Game never really dropped the price all that much, by that I mean, not at all. Modding kept the game alive. Of course with microtransactions modding wasn't allowed in multiplayer, something that would make the mode fun, but given that taxi missions in vanilla single player are more fun than multiplayer, with mods we all had a blast. Now Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games want to kill mods. All of them. Mods that make this game alive years after release. I cannot and will not recommend supporting companies who aren't consumer-friendly, companies that treat people giving them money like **** Pirate this game if you have to, it's really good, but don't buy it. Don't give them your money. EDIT:// So, Rockstar released a statement... Let's see: “Take-Two’s actions were not specifically targeting single player mods. Unfortunately OpenIV enables recent malicious mods that allow harassment of players and interfere with the GTA Online experience for everybody. We are working to figure out how we can continue to support the creative community without negatively impacting our players.” In the first sentence you distance yourself from Take-Two. Nice. Unfortunately, Rockstar is a part of Take-Two Interactive, so either it's a case of left hand not knowilng who's being kicked in the balls by the left foot or... you think we're going to forget that you are Take-Two as well. Let's say that OpenIV does have a hole, let's say that it is the truth... WHY WON'T YOU WORK WITH THE MODDERS TO FIX IT!? OpenIV was made specifically for single player, it wouldn't even allow to go online, so that's hard to believe, but since you like to support the creative community so much, why didn't you said anything to them BEFORE bringing up a lawsuit? Modders aren't a malicious force... For **** sake, half if not more of Valve games started out as mods! Besides, if you gave a dead dog's **** of a damn about Online then you'd remove microtransactions from the game. Or made Online a standalone, free to play game... EDIT #2:// OpenIV is back. Multiplayer still **** ass, no single player DLC, Liberty City WON'T be modded into GTA V. Still a negative review. Single player - 9/10, Multi player - 3/10.

I... I don't know. The game looks amazing, sounds amazing but it's so slow. First impression of the game, first 30 minutes or so, is walking and exposition and when you think you'll finally get some action... nope, short fight, walking and puzzles. Not at all what I expect from Ninja Theory, not at all. More than that however, the puzzles ruin the pace of the game for me, but perhaps it's just me. This is a matter of my expectations, more than the game itself, but I really think that it's not a game for me and I feel a bit misled. A linear puzzle game with elements of fighting is how I'd describe it. Or "that game with a really stupid title" (for a second there I was sure it's a sequel to "I am Setsuna", based on the title alone). Overall - meh... seen worse, seem better.

I played the beta and decided to buy this game... It's been a while since the demo (because that wasn't really a beta) was way better than the full release. I gave the game a few weeks to see if the bugs and errors will go away and here are my conclusions. Graphically the game looks good. I can't deny that. Music and overall sound design are amazing. Gameplay is as good as I hoped - easy to understand, hard to master. The single player campaign is a joke, the story is a joke, the characters are a joke and NPCs... are meme-worthy but the meat of the game was in multiplayer and... they've made it pay to win. Seriously, a full price, AAA release with microtransactions that allow you to buy power in the main multiplayer mode of the game. That is, if you'll get to play at all. Now, I have an amazing internet connection, don't want to brag, but let's say I can stream YouTube in 4K 60 fps and still I wouldn't get to the maximum speed... and yet I get multiple disconnects in For Honor, the game is lagging, matchmaking takes minutes instead of seconds and even then I can't play more than one match because of some random bug that freezes the whole game! It's a mess. P2P multiplayer where I get penalised for other people's crappy connection is one thing, but when the same thing happens when I'm duelling a friend who has just as good, if not better, internet? It's a mess... a good game hidden behind poor decisions and nonsensical online design. I really hope Ubisoft will one day start actually making good games that aren't being held back by microtransactions and P2P multiplayer again.

I love Mafia game series. I played them all, I own them all. To say that Mafia 3 is a bad game wouldn't be the truth, it's not bad... however it's not great either. Gone are unique to Mafia mechanics like speed limiter and stopping at red lights to not rise suspicion (because you're a career criminal it makes sense not to draw attention while driving). This is also first time a Mafia game didn't awe me with visuals. This game is ugly and the lighting engine is so broken that every sunrise and sunset looks like a atom bomb explosion. Random flashing of trees and posters... I could go on and on about that, but all of this can be fixed, what can't be fixed are the missions and boy, oh boy, those are boring. Side missions, main missions, it's all a blur. The initial story, the opening is strong, emotional and very powerful but the further you go, the less enjoyable it becomes. It's an open world game (tired of 'em yet?) filled with repetitive missions. The longer I play, the more I feel like I'm forcing myself, like it's a chore... I'm disappointed but I wasn't expecting anything great, after all, it's not 2K Czech anymore but Hangar 13... and it's their first game. Doesn't matter they have veteran developers there, they might not work together like a real team yet. This game is just mediocre, not bad, not great. Just "meh".

Fallout 4 is a good game, there's no doubt about that... but it's not a good Fallout game. One of the core aspects of Fallout was the role play, a thing that's been castrated from fourth installment almost entirely. Sure everyone likes to play the role of the hero, what's disappointing however is the fact that you can't play as... you. You can't even be an evil bastard - something that was very enjoyable in first and second Fallout games. Here in a manner of minutes you're forced to help a group of survivors, equipped with Power Armor of the get go. On my very first sitting with the game I was a General of Minutemen and a Knight in the Brotherhood of Steel... and as much as I enjoyed my time with the game, for the life of me, I could not see a dialog option to be just pure evil bastard! Not to mention that the dialogues have only four (sic!) outcomes where three of them are always yes, no and I don't know... The story is boring, the side quests are repetitive, gun play is fun but again - what if I don't want to shoot everything? Not an option most of the time. Technically the graphics are okay. Nothing fancy but not horrible. I was able to keep the game at a stable 60fps most of the time. Few glitches happened, nothing gamebreaking. But the damned loading screens! They're everywhere! SSD is a must otherwise fast travel can be as slow as running on a lower spec PCs. The facial animations are a bit... out there. Music is there. Forgettable but fitting the game. Now... FOV is vomit inducing, thankfully it can be adjusted with a simple command prompt still it only reminds me that there's no options menu! Everything is set up from the launcher that has a very limited options to choose from. Also the default controls are totally counter-intuitive! Most of the time they require you to grow a third hand - one in WASD area, one on the mouse and third one near the Enter key. Overall, after around 150 hours of gameplay, I wanna play Wasteland 2 again and never go back to Fallout series as long as it's in the hands of Bethesda Softworks.

A great RPG in a bag full of **** Stupid, juvenile, american humour ruins what good intentions Obsidian had while making this game. If you're a South Park fan, buy it, if you're sick and tired of "american sense of humour" stay away from this terrible game... add to that standard Obsidian bugs and glitches, shallow gameplay mechanics and way too easy difficulty and you'll know what I'm talking about. Also it looks just like the show, for me it is a really bad design, for a fan - a huge plus.

A perfect game doesn't exist, but FTL: Faster Than Light is the closest thing to it I saw in recent years. Graphics may not look amazing, but they don't have to. They're clean, they allow you to both get an accurate view on what's going on on the screen and leave enough for your imagination to roam. Sounds and most importantly, music is amazing. Nothing short of art. It creates the proper atmosphere and fits thematically to the game. It's great. Gameplay is quite possibly the best feature of FTL. It's simple to understand and hard to master. Never will this game allow you to be the best at everything, and the real time tactical battles with an active pause wirks in advantage for this title. It's a hard game, it will kick your ass, but it's also very addictive. And the story... Some people might say that this game has no story and that the text in the game is not a good script, if any... I treat FTL as a story generator. Just name your ship and crew, turn on your imagination and make a story for yourself! It's great deal of fun! This is easly one of the best games in recent years. It's a must play. It will kick your ass and you're going to love every second of it. It's been years since the last time I couldn't leave the game until I completely unlocked everything and got every achievement in the game... Give it a chance, you won't regret it.
