This game is absolutely gas, a true sequel to the classic trilogy with a variety of unique and challenging levels that dive into a bunch of fun mechanics and aesthetics throughout the game. A must-play platformer and a criminally underrated release.

Super Mario Galaxy 29
Jun 3, 2021
While the original Galaxy has a great sense of atmosphere Galaxy 2 has far better level design and replaces the weaker mechanics from the first game with better ones along with the amazing addition of Yoshi makes's this game a lot more fun. The levels are longer and either introduce new mechanics or polished up mechanics from the original game and expanded upon in what seems to be the best way possible. The smaller hub world is a lot more fun to explore as all the good stuff is a lot closer together and the addition of a simple "world map" to get from level to level makes the game flow a lot better.

Little Nightmares9
Jun 3, 2021
A hidden gem. This is one of my favorite games of all time due to its incredibly indirect and mysterious story along with its unique Tim Burton-esque aesthetic. This game presents itself in a way that is sort of comparable to something like Inside or limbo with its mostly fixed camera and detailed environments. Its very original musical score complements the eerie and creepy vibes so well to the point where you become so immersed within the game's world that you'll end up beating it from start to finish in one session.

The best game of 2018. Amazing level and puzzle design with one of the best videogame soundtracks in recent years pushing forward as you dive deeper and deeper into this amazingly well-designed game with multiple platforming mechanics and keep you determined and engaged to overcome any challenge. A must-play game for anyone who enjoys diving into the indie scene or anyone who enjoys platformers and surprising stories that end up being a lot deeper than expected.

Super Mario Galaxy8
Jun 3, 2021
This game packs some of the best atmosphere and aesthetics in all of Mario, its orchestrated and non-orchestrated soundtrack brings a whole new experience to the game that the Super Mario series hasn't really seen before, the game truly feels like a journey packed with a lot of beautiful moments that are impossible to not appreciate. Not only does Galaxy carry some great vibes but its level design and constant experimenting with new mechanics is what makes the game so hard to put down and while some levels are too short and some mechanics aren't as interesting as others it is still a worthy 3D Mario title for anyone to play.

Pokemon White Version9
Jun 3, 2021
Despite the fact that Diamond, Pearl and Platinum are my main childhood Pokemon games and the ones I have the most nostalgia for I definitely consider Pokemon Black & White to be my personal favourite games in the series. I consider this game to be the last "amazing" game in the series as it pretty much did everything right, from its design to its music to its story to even it's aesthetic. The mix between 2D and 3D graphics actually brings an amazing amount of style to this game's visual approach as it allows for a lot more perspective and can actually create some of the best atmosphere in the series and it also prevents the game from ever looking dated. The music is extremely memorable and quite funky at times but also rather engaging to the point where it actually makes certain battles in the game a lot more epic and intense. The Pokedex for the Unova region is probably where the game can be considered weak in comparison to most of the Pokedex's that came before it however the fact that you can only capture the regional Pokemon until the post-game is actually a great addition as it allows you to build a more diverse team that actually ends up holding more sentimental value to you than you'd expect. But by far my favorite thing about this game is surprisingly enough its story and characters simply due to the fact that a Pokemon game has never directly gone as deep into it's story as Black and White has.

DOOM Eternal8
Jun 3, 2021
DOOM Eternal is hands down not only the best shooter of 2020 but probably the best shooter we've seen since Bethesda's revival of the DOOM series back in 2016. The gameplay is faster and more graphic than ever with new weapons and creative ways to get around the maps both when it comes to exploration and combat.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time8
Jun 3, 2021

PlayStation 4

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate9
Jun 3, 2021
This is the must-own multiplayer title for the Nintendo Switch. This is hands down not only the best game in the Smash Bros. series but one of the best fighting games of all time, the combat is perfected to an insane limit to the point where anyone can pick up this game and grow better and better in a matter of hours, the amount of crazy **** that you can pull off keeps the battles diverse but also extremely comfortable when it comes to players of equal skill going at it, you can play defensive in the smoothest and intense way possible or you can go all out and tear **** up as a variety of insanely good characters to choose from. Not only is the combat extremely polished but the game is visually beautiful, a lot of the battle maps provide an immense amount of great atmosphere that not only perfectly reflects the franchise it represents but also sets up the perfect mood to battle with its attention to detail and banger soundtrack. And that's only the tip of the iceberg.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End8
Jun 3, 2021
A must-play game for all PS4 owners. Amazing visuals and creative puzzle-solving along with some very well-designed linear environments that can also open up to some fun exploration backed up with some insanely fun combat that ends up getting pushed to its absolute limit. Not only is the game fun to play but it also packs an amazing story with some very entertaining cutscenes and voice acting that helps the well-written dialogue pop even better.
