Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown8
Feb 18, 2024
I haven't played Virtua Fighter since the mid 2000's. Finding out about this gem in the PS store felt amazing. Yes, there aren't many things to do,since this is technically a decade old game, but the fighting feels precise and fun. I can't wait for Virtua Fighter 6!

A very annoying dlc, that i stopped playing twice before i attempted to finish it the third time. Doesn't compare in quality to the rest of the game.

Ok, World Tour is just copy/paste Mortal Kombat's Konquest mode. I didn't care enough to finish it.
Other than that, the game has nothing to offer to you, other than... fun! And that is quite important i dare say. Barebones, yes... but you can cook up quite a broth with these bones, so... cool.

Mortal Kombat 13
Feb 18, 2024
This is the worst Mortal Kombat game i have ever played, and the first one i did play was MK3. The story, although good for the 2/3 of it, takes a wild turn into played out multiverse territory and other than that, there is nothing else to this game - the kameo system ****, invasions mode is the worst thing i have ever been forced to play, online matches are still a joke, customization is bad, microtransactions galore. The only good thing is the graphics, even though the whole game looks 'paper thin'.
Lesson learned - i will never pre-order anything ever again

This is a very good game. Graphics, the world, the characters are all well designed and written. The choices you make seem meaningful and gameplay is challenging and engaging. The humor sprinkled throughout the game is also intelligent and well received on my part. Pagan Min is a great character.

Hogwarts Legacy9
May 5, 2023
A much needed game in the wizarding world. The atmosphere and the music are perfect for anyone who has read the books and the graphics are definitely up there - not perfect, but very beautiful none the less. The story is cool and the gameplay solid (although very easy - i didn't even ever came close to dying). I wish there was more house-specific content though to give the game a reason to be played again.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores9
May 5, 2023
This dlc boasts beautiful graphics, a good story and antagonist and some interesting expansion to the lore. I had to take one point out though, just for the only 1,5 new machines that it offers (the waterwing is in the trailer and the stingspawn - while cool - are practically an extension of the bilegut... we already knew about the horus...) and the only 1 new weapon. Great gameplay, the epicest of fights in the end and an interesting story. Anybody who rates this game as a 0 or 1,2,3... because it doesn't fit their political agenda is pathetic.

Feb 5, 2023
I LOVE this game. Every character feels different to play with, which can be frustrating if you want to play casually. I imagine people who play competitive have an entirely more unique experience. Customization aspects are welcome. The only problem for me is that the game STILL requires you to play hundreds of hours just to unlock a small portion of what is available. Definite plus for longevity (?) of the title, but if you play casually, like me, it can be a tough pill to swallow-i, of course, refuse to pay ANY amount of money on microtransactions. Every time i grab the controller though, i have a great time.

The game has some very good ideas and is carefully crafted in every way. The open world feels alive and dangerous which adds tension throughout the experience. As a fun of the books i am very pleased with this game.

A Game of Thrones: The Board Game - Digital Edition5
Feb 5, 2023
I haven't played the board game to comment on how good the adaptation is, so i will steer clear of that. My biggest grievance with the game is how short it is. By the time you get a momentum it is over, so i cannot give it a rating higher than that.

Cyberpunk 20776
Feb 5, 2023
The story and characters were above average, although at times it feels like written by a teenager. Music and acting are very good. Graphics are just ok for a base PS4, there are many games who do a better job at that, but nothing is ugly. Controls and gameplay are borderline bad, especially melee combat which is a joke. The decision to change third person perspective to first person is a very bad one, i hope CDPR patches in a third person experience as the game was clearly built with that in mind and it suffers from the transition. The game crashed twice but thankfully auto-save is frequent. I had some fun playing the game but i never felt like "i have to drop whatever i am doing to go play me some cyberpunk", i kinda had to remind myself that i play this game. The ending i got was infuriating to the point that i don't feel like returning to this world for a long... long time.

Such a beautiful game. The cat, the graphics, the world, the story, the messages that the writers try to share hit home without being preachy or annoying. I had a great time playing this game and even though i just finished it 5 minutes ago, i already know i am going to play it again. And again. It is one of those rare times when i feel happy that i did not find all the collectibles, all the trophies etc. so i can get in the game again. Congratulations to the developers, i hope for a second game : )

I love the board game, so i had to buy the digital edition. The game is beautiful with a nice, relaxing soundtrack and graphics. The gameplay is fun, with my only issue being you can't see what the others are playing unless you go over to their card, which after a while i don't even care to do... Automa mode makes no sense, it is the same thing with custom game. Can't wait for the oceanic expansion.

Terraforming Mars7
Nov 28, 2022
This is a quite good adaptation of the board game. There are still some problems with the AI (if you claim the thermalist award, no one terraforms heat anymore-the game can go on for quite a while), but a great AI would be too much of a contrast with the mistakes human players (such as I) make when playing against them, so... it's ok.

The Last of Us Part II4
Sep 18, 2022
The story is terrible and the characters annoying. And i don't even care about Joel. Everything that was set up in the first game is brushed aside for a boring revenge story that is impossible to care about. What makes it even worse is the poor directing and 'editing' of the story. It is a shame, compared to the first game. Not to mention the constant 'emotional blackmail' that the story relies on to hook you in. The game play is great though and the action in the game solid. Every time i was allowed to just play the game i had a good time. Every game mechanic utilized in game play works perfectly. I could see myself playing the game again, but only with ALL the cut scenes skipped. Shame.

This is an amazing game, everything has evolved from Zero Dawn. Graphics are great, the story is very interesting and engaging, the characters seem alive and to have a place in this world. There are still a few issues with platforming for me, but nothing major. Even the side-quests were fun to play, i finished 100% of the game before NG+ was put into it, gonna play it again on PS5 when the dlc comes out. Played on PS4 Slim, installed on external SSD. The game runs surprisingly smooth.

A must play game for sure. Great story, fun gameplay - even though i cannot bother with the tactical aspect of it anymore, i'd much rather change characters in-fight. Dragon Age II7
Aug 18, 2022
I believe this to be a very good game, just not as good as Dragon Age Origins. EA did a number on Bioware, forcing them to release the game at this state but the story has some very good twists, especially a few dark ones i did not see coming. The characters in this game are more interesting than the ones in Origins, and the tactical mode is set aside - which is good for me.

It is such a nice feeling to find a world that speaks to you. The world of Horizon does that to me.
