Street Fighter 6 honestly feels like the best game of the series in every facet possible. The long term will prove or disprove this though as these games tend to morph and change over their lifetime. But for this game to take that title, it’s done everything right from the outset to cement its legacy as the best of the best. This game is a recommendation for people interested in fighting games at any level, go check it out now.

The game scores points thanks to its more modern controls, a load of content led by a new adventure mode, and fans will have a hard time finding flaws. [Issue#328]

While World Tour is iffy, you can’t deny this fighter is a champion – though it’ll best suit those who can put hours into Battle Hub and Fighter’s Ground. [Issue#29, p.74]

hours played 127 Street fighter 6 is a spectacular fighting game that feels great to play and watch. All the mechanics work together to form a tug of war type of gameplay as both players have to manage the same amount of resources in addition to playing to their characters strengths and weaknesses. The cast is quite interesting as half of it is returning characters while the other half are complete newcomers to the series! Unfortunately for me the newcomers didn't pique my interest as much as the old casts new designs did. This is because to me the newcomers' designs felt plain to look at nothing in particular stood out to me about them especially when compared to the old cast's redesigns. The biggest new standout from the original cast was Kens new design going from a confident energetic fighter to a dishevelled man who looks like he lost it all gambling. This change got me into wanting to learn more about the story of the game and how such a change could happen, unfortunately the story was shown off quite poorly. The story of street fighter 6 is shown off through the “world tour” mode an open world adventure where your custom character meets the cast of street fighter 6 and can learn all their fighting styles and techniques. I love this idea of being able to make your own move set but acquiring all the characters moves is so boring as you have to acquire a bunch of arbitrary items to give the characters to level them up and not every level gives you a move. They way you meet characters is also very forced and contrived as most of them are not important to the plot but will have your character meet them to progress the story in a way that feels slow and clunky. The fights in the story mode can be fun later on in the game, but the earlier fights have you fighting npc’s with extremely neutered versions of the other characters move sets. Street fighter 6 has extremely fun and intense gameplay that gets better the more you master the games unique systems but is lacking in entertaining single player content. If you have a friend who you know is into fighting games like street fighter, then I'd say it's definitely worth the money as both of you can get a lot of value out of it. Overall, I would recommend this game to people looking for a game to play with friends.

It’s a great and unique street fighter game the single player part of the game is the best part of the game and hopefully they continue making a single player campaign for years to come. The worst part of it is all the pay walls they make you get. You can rent a character but then have to purchase them if you want to continue playing as them or if you want the entire roster you have to pay extra. It’s a shame but if you just like Ryu or the basic characters your all good and don’t need to worry about the paywalls.

This game has great graphics, an open world where you can explore cities (yes, multiple.) and fight like the classics. This game is packed with content. The only actual thing I truly dislike is the microtransactions, but other than that, this game gets constant updates making it feel like a brand new game each year. Definitely **** a side note, I would recommend to play this for user 14 and over, because it does have slight language during the World Tour mode, as well as some revealing outfits for some characters. Thanks for reading!

Capcom may have made significant mistakes in the development of Street Fighter V, but it’s clear they were determined not to repeat them with Street Fighter 6. I can’t remember the last time a fighting game offered such a complete package, with something for every type of player. Combine that with best-in-class mechanics and a visual identity that truly sets it apart, and Street Fighter 6 is everything fighting game fans have been dreaming of. There’s no need to put your quarter on the machine to save your spot anymore. With Street Fighter 6, we can all have next.

it's a good fighting game, and after I suffered so much in Mortal Kombat 1, this game became my second wind

Capcom once again sets a new standard for 2D fighting games. In addition to the advanced combat system and the excellent package of single-player modes, made up of numerous elements that find their balance in sharing the same resource (the Drive indicator), SF6 counts on more than a vast group of tutorials and alternative control schemes for every need.

This is not only a kinetic, exciting and gloriously refined interpretation of the most storied fighting game series, but also the most generous and expansive offering yet. Here is a game that pays tearful tribute to its past, while determinedly seeking out a new and young audience - mindful, no doubt, that its future resides in their hands, be they practised or otherwise. Street Fighter 6 in it's simplest form remains a fantastic, fun experience, retaining the same gameplay that has been tweaked and improved throughout the years to ensure it remains top of the pile. Jarring attempts to meet the needs of young players alongside a World Tour mode that fails to meet the hype placed upon it however, stop this from being an essential purchase. Stick to Arcade Mode and enjoy what made this franchise so great in the first place. A fantastic fighter is there, just buried under the fluff.

One of the best fighting games ever made. It's fun, engaging and the community around it is awesome. I just wish there was more things to do and unlock as someone who likes singleplayer.

Drive impact-drive impact-drive impact.
**** - drive rush - again X times.
Turtle-turtle-turtle.
Throw-throw-throw.
Absolutly greedy monetization.
I want to love it, but it's purely garbage, that provoke abuse specific things.

Season three and they still haven't removed the Throw Loopz. An excellent game if you are approaching Fighting Games for the first time, but unfortunately it is full of scrubby mechanics deliberately designed to help casuals to steal some matches. This wouldn't be a bad thing in itself but the way the Drive System has been implemented makes the game volatile and **** the last time, remove the throw loops. You had already done it in SFV but with that game you had to win back the public, unfortunately here the sales are high and the casuals are happy to steal rounds from time to time by guessing out the opponent
