Metroid Prime Remastered9
Sep 9, 2023
This is a great remaster of a timeless classic, which just doesn't seem to age at all. This was actually my 3rd time playing through this game, (twice on Wii Prime trilogy) and it is still just as enjoyable. The greatly enhanced dual-stick controls makes the gameplay that much better, and as you lock on to enemies, you get kind of an auto-aim, which makes shooting enemies and bosses a breeze. There is also an option for classic Gamecube controls and Wii-style motion controls, but I personally preferred, and stuck with the modern dual-stick option. Simply a masterpiece that should be experienced by anyone into action/adventure games, and now made that much more accessible with enhanced visuals and modernized controls. One small nitpick is the amount of backtracking you have to do in this game, but that doesn't hamper an otherwise great experience. Highly recommended!

I count Breath of the wild among my favorite games of all time, and have actually finished it 3 times! That being said, I was very sceptical when I saw the trailers for this, as it looked too similiar to the previous game, and unfortunately I was right. From the start of the tutorial area, to the overworld, story and gameplay, you really do feel like you're playing the exact same game, with a few tweaks and new gimmicks. It took Nintendo 6(!) years to develop this game, which you should really count as DLC, and not a new game in it's own. I lost interest about 2/3 into it, because the magic I felt playing Botw in 2017, just isn't present here anymore. I genuinely hope others can find more enjoyment with it than I, but for me it feels like a chore unfortunately..

this DLC is just very poorly done.. the story is outrageously bad and it doesn't add anything interesting to the series whatsoever. since Guerilla insists on going the political correctness route, I for one am not interested in the future of this franchise. I'll never buy anything they develop again.. Thankfully, us action/adventure fans still have the Legend of Zelda.

Where to begin with a fantastic game like this. The moment you start playing, the impressive visuals just stuns you - the amazing attention to detail everywhere, the lighting, the textures, Aloy's model - it's all simply astonishing! I don't miss owning a Ps5 in the slightest with the Ps4 still able to impress with graphics of this level. It is so much fun to just run around and explore this beautiful world, doing side missions and hunting machines for useful parts. I instantly got sidetracked and just forgot about the main story for hours, while the world slowly but surely got revealed to me. I was hooked for 14 straight days, and thought about the game even when not playing - it is very addicting! As with all video games, some slight annoyances are unavoidable, and the climbing is something that instantly comes to mind. it was a bit clunky in the first game, and they improved it somewhat here, but it still is one of my least favorite parts about the game - especially after the climbing I'm used to in Zelda Breath of the wild. Melee combat is also still not very rewarding Imo, so I stuck to ranged weapons about 95% of the time, but I didn't miss it much, as using your bow, spears and sling is very fun, and excellently implemented. Also, in the heat of combat, Aloy often takes too long to recover when knocked down by machines, which can be frustrating when struggling to take down a challenging machine. These are very minor issues, and didn't affect my enjoyment of an otherwise excellent adventure throughout, but still worth mentioning. One of the very best games the Ps4 has to offer, and a superb choice for any action/adventure enthusiast. If you're a particular fan of this genre, you'll probably also love this game - highly recommended!

I guess we all just have to settle with the fact that after Reggie left, and Mr. Iwata unfortunately passed, Nintendo will just never be the same. The quality of the games they produce just doesn't feel the same as earlier, they are constantly making poor business choices, they release underwhelming remasters, as well as lackluster celebrations of anniversaries, (see Mario's and Zelda's, last year and this year) They keep pretending that joy-con drift doesn't exist, as well as refuse to significantly upgrade ancient hardware. This last "effort" in the Metroid franchise is just another example of a company well past their prime unfortunately. I know I've had quite enough of this..

I really wanted to play this game with a "normal" control scheme, even though I really liked playing it with motion controls on the Wii, and finished it 3 times. But unfortunately, using the right control stick to swing Link's sword feels really awkward to me, so I was quite disappointed. Thankfully, using motion controls still feels responsive so i just stuck with that when playing this version as well. I feel this is a very underappreciated game in the franchise, it is actually quite good Imo. Definitely not the best in the series, but there's plenty of fun to be had. There are some small improvements in the game besides the resolution & framerate bump - like being able to skip cut-scenes, skip FI's annyong interruptions etc. Those probably won't convince you to like the game any more if you didn't already, but for someone like me, it's great. I gave it a 9/10 on the Wii, but I feel the improvements aren't significant enough to varrant a score higher than 8/10 for Switch, as there's no graphical improvements other than resolution - no improved textures, lighting & effects etc. And the new control scheme leaves a lot to be desired Imo. A really fun game overall, but this version could be much better if Nintendo for once was willing to put in the actual effort.

Half the framerate, but still full price - go figure.. and that's just the beginning of the shortcomings in this version. The visuals are very lackluster compared to Ps4's version - which I own and really like! the controls are poor, because of the horrible joy-cons and their drift issues. I would never support a severely downgraded version **** just because "it's handheld, duh.." and I would implore you to not purchase either. If you release a severely lackluster version ****, the price should also reflect that! not even the most hardened Nintendo fanboy could possibly refute this.

I played the demo of this game, and what instantly stood out to me in a very negative way, were the sub-par visuals. Grainy textures, boring lighting, and overall lack of deatil in the world. There's nothing in this game that couldn't be done equally good or maybe even better on the Ps3 or Xb360. But that isn't a knock against Capcom, as they're trying their best with the hardware they have to work with - the Switch is simply horribly outdated, and the visuals hurt the experience to a degree that makes it a deal-breaker. The gameplay unfortunately feels uninspired and boring, there's nothing new or exciting here. I would rather recommend Monster Hunter World. I'm being generous giving this a 5/10

The main problem with this game, is that it came out alongside Zelda Botw - which I played first since I'm a huge Zelda fan. So needless to say, this game never got the chance from me that it truly deserves. In a way, that last Zelda adventure kind of ruined open-world games for me, because all other games in the genre feel kind of restrictive and linear in comparison. But I decided to give this game another chance, so I recently bought the "complete edition" and am currently playing through it at the moment. And oh wow, what an amazing experience! I have been playing it nonstop for several days, and I'm having a real hard time putting the game down - it's very addictive! If you played games like the recent Tomb Raider games, and FarCry Primal, this game will feel very familiar - you certainly see where they took several of their ideas from, sometimes to the point of almost being copy & paste. But I don't mind, as those are some of my favorite games on the Ps4 - especially FarCry Primal. What really stands out to me in this game, are the fantastic enemy encounters you'll have with the games creature-like machines. You'll encounter anything from Horse-like creatures, to Raptors, elephants and even a gigantic T-Rex! These fights encourages lots of strategy, because some of them are VERY tough to best. They will charge at you, shoot at you, and even borrow under ground to launch an upward attack - it's all very impressive. I can't remember the last time combat in a game was this engaging. I also have to mention the visuals. Just wow, is the first word that comes to mind! Lots of effects, lush environments, and great character models. Aloy look really great, with her thick, beautiful hair blowing in the wind as you run through the open environment. Of course, not matter how fantastic a game is, it's never without minor flaws. And one that instantly comes to mind is a somewhat confusing gear-upgrade system. I feel like I never truly get the hang of it. It should have drawn it's inspiration from games like Fallout 4 for instance, as I loved the way you upgraded your guns and armor in the game - very intuitive. The climbing can also feel a bit finicky sometimes, and isn't as good and intuitive as games like reboot Tomb Raider for instance. These are very minor complaints mind you, and the game is a truly amazing experience. One of the absolute best games on the Ps4, and even one of the best of the last generation Imo. It gets a 9,5 score from me, with the title of "highly recommended"!

Another garbage title from one of the worst devs out there: Naughty Dog. This developer apparently loves excessive violence, foul language and blasphemy. And for this I will throw my copy in the garbage instead of reselling it, as I don't want to contribute to anyone else playing this trash. How good the gameplay and graphics are is completely irrelevant, when the game is all about foul language.

First of all - the game is FANTASTIC! I finished it when it first arrived on WiiU several years ago. And thus the reason for my low score. this is a 2013 Wii U game..! with no significant improvements, at least none to justify the price of $59.99. It actually cost more now than it did 7 years ago, go figure.. Do Not Support Nintendo's greed please - that will only perpetuate the problem. I'm not against ports, don't get me wrong, I am however against ports of old games at full price. This should be $20-30 tops!

It's been a while since I played this game - I bought it sometime during the 2017 Christmas season. But the first thing that hit me when I started playing it again was "wow" !! These visuals are extremely impressive, especially considering how underpowered the Switch is compared to the competition. This game easily rivals most games on both Ps4 and Xbone - at least in the graphics department. The sharp textures, the amazing character models & animation, the level of detail in the courses, and not to mention the lighting effects! just wow!! The game's appeal is further enhanced by small, but very noticeable tweaks to the gameplay - like two item boxes, an immensely improved battle mode, and other small improvements. Needless to say, this is my favorite MarioKart to date, and I've played it countless hours since it first arrived on WiiU back in 2014. The Switch version is much improved, so I won't go back to the older version any time soon. But the game is fantastic on both consoles.

what could have been a really great celebration of Mario's 35th anniversary, turned out to be a mediocre one unfortunately.. this is such a huge missed opportunity. the omission of Galaxy 2 is bad enough, but there's really nothing extra to this compilation - it's as bare-bones as it possibly could get. 3 old games with enhanced resolution - that's it! what about some cool concept art, or something other extras, how about actually updating Mario 64's visuals to at least the standards of Galaxy 1 - I would've been more than pleased with that. but no, Nintendo is all about maximum profits, for minimum efforts - as usual..

Such a fantastic hidden gem for the Wii. it definitely went under my radar for years, even though I really like these Ubisoft strategy games. You can either follow the story - which also cleverly serves as the game's tutorial, or you can just create your own little adventure, and there are several customizable options to choose from: if you want natural disasters to occur on your island or not, how much money & resources you want to start with, how advanced you want your civilization to get, etc.. The graphics are colorful, the music is exhilarating, and it's just a really fun experience to create your own little society on these small islands. Recommended!

Imo, the reviewers were a little too harsh on this game, It is really a fun action/adventure game. I like the combat system with the ability to unlock new movers and powers. It may lack the depth of games like the Ratchet&Clank remake, but I played through it with my 7 year old son, and we actually had a blast. If you're into the genre, I think you'll have quite a bit of fun with this one. Give it a try.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening8
Oct 3, 2019
I only tried the original game for a few minutes, so this was a completely fresh experience for me. I've read that this game is almost completely true to the original aside from the visual makeover. So if that's the case I must say I'm impressed at how well it's held up, considering it is originally a 1993 release. The two last dungeons were surprisingly complex and challenging for a Zelda-game that was originally made for the Gameboy in 1993, I really had to use my brain finishing those two, so that was also impressive. I'm a bit torn on the graphical style, sometimes I really like it, and other times I wish they went another direction. One thing about it that's a bit bothersome is the blurry effect on the top & bottom screen, I don't know what that's supposed to imitate, but it's slightly annoying. The frame-rate also dips quite frequently, and it's very noticeable. It isn't game-breaking mind you, but it's hard to understand how Nintendo could let this slip, especially with such a simple art-style. I guess we'll just have to settle with the fact that the Switch just isn't powerful enough.. In many ways this is classic Zelda at it's finest, with catchy music, an interesting world to explore, and complex dungeouns, but something that kind of ruined the experience for me, was the ending. The thing I like best about the Zelda-franchise, is that the games makes you feel like a hero that is on an important quest to save the world from evil. I didn't necessarily get that here unfortunately.. There are also no memorable characters in the game, so the story feels a bit dated in that regard. All in all a really fun game, classic Zelda in many regards, but with some disappointments regarding story especially.

Disney DuckTales: Remastered8
Sep 11, 2019
A great remaster of this classic Nes-game, with a really charming artstyle and fun dialogue. The original (surviving) cast from the Ducktales-series are voicing the characters as well, so that's really cool. It does have some old-school difficulty, but that can be altered for more layed-back playthroughs. I personally didn't do too well on the higher difficulty settings, so I adjusted it accordingly, making it much more enjoyable. It is a really fun game overall, a little bit short though, like the old Nes-classic, but you'll have a genuinely good time playing, which is what is most important.

This is the first game in the series that I finished, I played Pikmin 2 for a little while, but lost interest after a couple of hours. This one on the other hand, I played until completion. And it was really great fun. These games are really interesting and unique, there's really nothing quite like them out there, they have that typical Nintendo-charm, with bright & colorful visuals, quirky humor and a high fun-factor. The new bee-Pikmin are also really cool, as they bring new strategies to the gameplay. The fruits you pick up look highly realistic, and the "monsters" roaming around all have different and unique appearances. The boss-fights are quite challenging, and requires a healthy dose of strategy to beat. I highly recommend this one, particularly if you're into strategy-games.

I don't understand all the mixed reviews this game has, it is actually pretty great. There are four sports available, with several Cups in each. This is of course a game best played with family and/or friends, as playing alone isn't that compelling. But as a party game, it is really fun, and the game does what it intends to do. The controls are tight, responsive and intuitive, and the visuals are bright and colorful - Classic Nintendo-quality in other words. Our favorite is Dodgeball and Hockey, they're the most fast-paced and fun Imo. The game is also quite cheap now, so that makes it even easier to recommend.

This game is pure genius, I can't believe I haven't tried it out before now. The minigames are simply hilarious! One of the "boss-fights" simply consists of standing in a pathway between a toilet for ladies and one for men, and guiding the right person into the right toilet, who other than Nintendo comes up with things like this. The Wii is home to soo many hidden gems, these small quirky titles is what makes this console simply one of the best of all time. It's just great fun for anyone. Highly recommended!

Punch-Out!!9
Aug 23, 2019
A really fantastic and under-appreciated gem for the Wii. It's an arcade-style boxing game, with gameplay based on memorization and quick reflexes - don't expect a realistic boxing experience here. the graphics are truly amazing - some of the absolute best, not just for the Wii, but the entire 7th generation. The animations are so well done and over the top, and the humor is simply hilarious. If you played the original on the NES, you'll instantly feel familiar with this game. Little Mac is a really great character, very likable. The way this little guy takes on these huge fighters over twice his size without any fear is really cool. And this game is also VERY challenging - I can't stress that enough. You have to have a lot of patience if you want to beat the later figthers, there is a lot of trial and error here to learn their patterns. But it feels so rewarding when you do, and makes you feel really powerful . Like a small freight-train or something, lol. This game is a lot of fun, lots of replay-value, one of the most challenging games I've ever played, and has such amazing visuals. Highly recommended!

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon8
Aug 11, 2019
this was a highly anticipated sequel for many gamers who loved the first one on Gamecube. some of the first things you notice playing the game, are it's impressive visuals. they look really nice with lots of detail and some excellent lighting effects. this game is easily on of the most impressive-looking on the system. there are some downsides in my opinion however, and they affect the gameplay to the point that they unfortunately drag the whole experience down a bit. the first game was much more about exploration, and you could more freely explore the Mansion at your own pace, while this game is much more based on a mission-structure, where you'll constantly be brought back to Prof. E.Gadd each time you perform a task. that unfortunately creates a more restricted kind of gameplay, and is also a bit annoying. but overall, the game is quite fun and you'll be amazed at some of it's clever puzzles, challenging boss-fights, and excellent visuals. in my opinion, not as good as the first game, but a really fun experience nonetheless.

a truly uniqe game in the strategy/rpg genre, you will probably never play anything like it. it is also quite deceiving, since it looks very kid-friendly, but it is actually very challenging, and recuires a lot of strategy in order to beat the various enemies and bosses scattered across the land. some downsides are the map, and the difficulty of navigiating through it when you get a little further in the game. it also takes quite a long time to upgrade & build your "kingdom", since money is a little hard to come buy, at least when you have progressed a bit. all in all, a very unique and fun experience, which you'll probably never play anything like again. definitely worth a pick-up if you're into the genre, it's also quite cheap now.

a truly fantastic 2d-platformer with brutally challenging, old-school difficulty. some people may be a little bit put off by it's difficulty, and I must admit I was a bit myself in the early stages, but that eventually wore off, and I welcomed it more and more. the feeling of satisfaction after beating it's toughest levels was very addicting, and just made me want to play more until I finally beat it. the bosses are also quite tough, but the strategy for beating them are really fun. man, I remember these games being quite challenging when last I played CrashBandicoot 2 many years ago, but they're much more brutally difficult than I remembered. that is both a positive and a slight negative thing, because I really welcome a challenge, but these games can seem downright unfair at times, which may turn quite a few gamers off - at least those who didn't get acquainted with this level of challenge back in the day. anyways, the games are classic CrashBandicoot, and are just as fun today as when they were first released, and I recommend them to anyone begging for a really challenging platformer. Crash 2 is my personal favorite.

not having played these games as a kid, I really looked forward to this remaster when it was announced. but since I didn't play them back in the day, I don't have the same nostalgic feelings, so it quickly got a bit repetetive basically doing the same thing over and over. the graphics for the most part look really great, like a DisneyPixar movie or something, but that novelty quite rapidly wears off unfortunately. the games are fun, don't get me wrong, but without nostalgia-glasses on, one has to admit the gameplay is a bit dated, better suited in the time platformer/adventure games like these were fresh and new - in the late 90's. if you played them as a kid, I bet these will be really fun again with that fresh coat of paint, or if you have smaller children, they'll probably also love the games.

The Conduit8
Aug 8, 2019
a really fun shooter/actiongame overall for the Wii, where FPS - at the time, was a surprisingly absent genre, considering how well the motion controls worked for these kind of games. the controls are spot on, very fluid and easy to use. The visuals are also pretty solid, with impressive effects such as shimmering water, reflective surfaces, etc. This feels a bit more like an old-school FPS, like PerfectDark, and maybe TimeSplitters, and almost a bit arcade-like in a sense. there are some difficulty spikes here and there, making it a bit unbalanced, but when you finally beat those stages/sequences, it feels like an accomplishment. for people who has played a lot of shooters, this game might not seem too impressive, but if you only had a Wii back in the day, this was a pretty solid option. and it was a fun experience throughout, which is the most important aspect of playing video games in the first place.

For some reason, I forgot to leave a review for this game after I beat it a few years ago. I never played "a link to the past" when I was younger, so this was completely fresh experience for me. And I really liked it. Particularly great that you can complete any dungeoun in any desired order, plus you can get most of the useful items right away, you can "borrow" them that is. But thankfully, you can purchase them on a permanent basis later, which is fairly easy considering how plentiful rupees are in this game. the world is also mostly open at the beginning of the game, so you can explore pretty much at your own pace. There are several intersting vistas, so exploring is fun. I also liked the sidequests, being a completionist isn't a problem when it's that much fun.

a great sequel to one of my favorite games of all time. it has a lot of creative new levels and power-ups, but maybe the single best aspect is the inclusion of Yoshi. he brings a lot to the gameplay, and some of the most fun levels to play is where he's available. personally, I do prefer the first one to this for several reasons, the biggest one is I don't particularly like the overworld map used here. I prefer the style of Mario64 and the first Galaxy-game, where you have a hub you can explore, where the worlds are connected, it gives off a more exploratory feeling. here I feel things are a bit dumbed down, where you just travel from world to world in a much more simplified manner. but this is a minor complaint in the grand scheme of things though, as the game is fantastic, and everyone who's a fan of the genre should play it.

I think this game gets a lot of un-deserved criticism. sure there are quite a few things that keeps this game from being truly amazing, but overall, it is a really fun game. I've heard quite a few complaints about the motion controls for instance, but for the most part, they worked almost perfect for me. and I love how they're implemented, it gives the combat that extra depth and challenge. instead of just mashing a button, you have to use strategy and think about how your enemy reacts - really cool in my opinion. the game is quite linear though, so you usually don't feel too compelled to explore, but there is some incentive for that too sometimes. the story I though was really good, and I really like the characters and many of the side-quests you do for them. I also loved how you can upgrade your equipment. that gets really addictive and fun. I'd love to see a HD-remaster of this game for the Switch, as that would make the great art-style really pop. I think the game is visually gorgeous, but unfortunately hindered by a low resolution. I didn't like the game as much the first time I played it, but then I did a second playthrough a couple of years ago, and it made me appreciate it a lot more. after my first playtrough, I would lean more towards an 8/10, but now I definitely think this game deserves a 9/10. and I have to mention the final boss - perhaps the best in the entire series. it was really great! a bit unconventional in many ways as a Zelda-title, but definitely an excellent game overall.

a really fantastic game, and my personal favorite in the series. I had such a blast playing this game with my friend almost everyday through the summer of 2002. the controls are excellent, the music superb, and the levels really fun and interesting. I remember it was really addicting to complete every level with every character - we didn't stop until we'd 100% it. it is really great fun, and I even play it occasionally to this day. one of my favorite games of all time.

this is the first game in the series I ever played back in the day, and needless to say, I really liked it. by today's standards, the game might fall a bit short however - especially for anyone trying it out for the first time now. but for us who played it in the 90's, it's a classic that always will be remember as one of, if not the best in the series.

I finished this game a few years ago, but forgot to leave a review for it, so I guess I'll write one now. for me, it's a hard game to review, because I did have quite a bit of fun with it, but it also felt like a chore quite often. the game is just plain weird.. and I don't know if it's in a good or a bad way. it definitely falls into the action/adventure genre a lot more than the Rpg genre, and doesn't really focus on building your character. but you can buy some artifacts to enhance certain aspects of it. the combat is like the rest of the game - a bit weird. instead of wielding any weapons, you simply use your "crystal powers" to pick up & throw things at enemies - both objects laying around and enemies themselves. the story is okay, not too interesting unfortunately, but it was interesting enough for me to follow it to the end & finish the game. some of the boss-fights are really fun though, and there are also some minigame-like segments that feel very arcade-like. all in all: an okay game overall, but not very memorable unfortunately.

man.. do i have great memories playing this game. it was such a unique and fun experience when it came out. it was just such a blast building your house, starting a career from scratch, and slowly improving the life for the sims, or destroying it - if that was your thing. to this day, I prefer it to the newer games in the series. it is just simple, relaxing fun.

the game has a handful of quite fun standout minigames, but it isn't very memorable unfortunately. it definitely didn't leave the same impact as WiiSports (resort) did. me and my family played it a little bit for a few days, but the game is more or less quite forgettable. overall an okay game, but nothing special.

a fantastic game in the series, I really loved it. it is really cool that each character has their own special item, and combining two different characters can make for some strategic fun. this is my personal 2nd favorite of the MarioKart's after Kart8. really great fun, and highly recommended.

I just finished this game yesterday, the story that is, and needless to say, I had very high expectations considering all the praise it's gotten. this was my very first time playing this franchise, so this review will also reflect that somewhat. one of the first things I noticed starting the game, and it was quite discouraging too, is how underpowered Kratos is in the beginning. just beating the most basic enemies almost became a chore, especially since they consistently seem to gang up on him from behind, making for some cheap deaths early on. what was really exciting was several of the mini-boss fights. huge cave trolls, rock-monsters etc, not to mention these Valkyrie-creatures, which are a great challenge to beat. it was really satisfying to finally bring them down after a tough fight. so later in the game, Kratos does get significantly more powerful with better equipment and stronger weapons, but in my opinion, it just takes too long to upgrade it. the story was another thing I didn't particularly care for, there are just too many twists & turns all the time, making it feel inconsistent and downright confusing. it almost felt like the point of the whole game was lost in translation or something. thankfully, there is a particular character you meet mid-way in the game, that also joins your journey, that is very likeable. all the cut-scenes & cinematics became very tedious towards the end, and it almost felt like playing an interactive movie, that really detracted from the overall fun quite a bit unfortunately. I didn't feel compelled to explore much either, the world simply isn't that interesting Imo. it is too linear, climbing is very slow and awkward, and the travel itself is also too slow. for the most part, I just followed the story to the end. this review might seem overly negative, but when very high expectations aren't really met, this is bound to be the result. I did really like the game overall, it has a lot of interesting things going for it, like huge creatures that look amazing, many of the enemy encounters were great, and the visuals - just wow! the characters look amazing - especially Kratos. the details on him are simply wonderful to look at. this game might be the best-looking this gen, at least from a technical standpoint. there is so much detail everywhere and in everything, and I played this on a Ps4 slim, which is comparable to the base Ps4 in terms of power. the Ps4 is truly a powerful little machine, capable of graphics & performance such as this game, I'm just amazed. overall: a very good game with great high's, but also disappointing low's. there are several times in the game it feels like a chore, and this can last for several hours so that isn't fun. but there is also much greatness to it, like enemy encounters, the visuals, up-grading your characters weapons and equipment, and some of the vistas are also interesting.

as a person who is kind of out of shooters as of late, since they all kind of feel the same, this was really a refreshing experience. the campaign was a great ride from start to finish. it felt almost arcade-like in a sense, and didn't take itself too seriously. there was great action combined with simple objectives to solve, and getting inside a Titan and just blasting through everything was really fun! it actually reminded me a lot of "The Conduit" for the Wii - that one also had a kind of arcade-like shooter experience. if this is the series standard from now on, I'm really looking forward to Titanfall 3. excellent game overall!

Shadow of the Colossus7

the only thing remarkable about this game are the boss-fights. I agree with one of the critic reviews that wasn't blinded by nostalgia and gave it a 7 stating: "those who didn’t have the chance to get acquainted with it probably will not understand what we saw in Shadow of the Colossus 12 years ago, when gaming reality was completely different." definitely a good game in several ways, but severely lacking in content and depth.

another excellent exclusive for the Ps4. the fast-paced action, and great controls makes this a pleasure to play. the story is also quite interesting, and you continually want to progress further to see how it all ends. I had a lot of fun with this, and would recommend it to anyone into action games in general. I'm not particularly a huge Marvel-fan, but this game was great from start to finish.

the reason I'm giving this such a low score isn't to troll, but to show that I find it unacceptable that they continue to release games with profanity & blasphemy. the Lord's name is taken in vain trough-out the game numerous times, and I haven't even made it past 2 hours in it..

These games are full of juvenile sex-jokes & swearing, and the the music is also quite juvenile.. I couldn't even get through 30 mins of this game. This might seem cool when you're a teen full of raging hormones, but as an adult - I find these games unplayable because of it. The games are also very poorly optimized for Switch, still rendering in 720p - in Tv-mode !! It has a slightly improved framerate, but is still unable to keep a solid 60fps - even on supposedly significantly more powerful hardware. Get used to seeing dips into the low 50's and even sometimes 40's. go figure.. My personal recommendation is to stay far away from these, they're utter garbage in my humble opinion.

This game is a masterpiece in almost every way possible, and as near a perfect game as it possibly can get. If you have a Switch or Wii U, it doesn't matter - the game is amazing wherever you're able to play it. Don't miss out on one of the best games of the last two decades, and definitely do not even bother to read any review that gives this less than an 8 - those are immature fanboys trying to ruin the overall score of the user reviews. But the critic score speaks for itself - there's really no need to elaborate. Go buy this game now!
