The best pure first-person shooter on the Wii. [July 2009, p.84]

Nowhere near classic status, but this is a welcome companion to "Metroid Prime: Corruption." [July 2009, p.78]

While the game does not turn the genre upside-down, it is innovative in certain areas -- for example, it features the most customizable, precise and enjoyable controls of any console shooter created, hands down.

This is one of the best first person Wii games that you can buy because not only is it fun but the graphics and storyline are equally just as good. If you go into this game with a pre-judgment or you think this is going to be some super high-end AAA first person shooter , well forget it because it's not and remember the Wii is only putting out at 480p. Overall this is a really good sci-fi first person shooter with a good storyline and tight controls.

Hey you do you want a game with respawning enemies and invisible mines Then you so have to stop moving and scan the environment for the 20th time this is a game for you. I had High Hopes the beginning was really good just Killing enemies moving from room to room , **** like you have to scan you can open the stupid door , The worst part is that controls and how it feels to play this good it feels like a good wii shooter , All the bed gameplay decisions just made it tedious

The Conduit is a flawed masterpiece: it doesn’t quite live up to the nigh-unreachable hype built up around it, but by breaking so much ground on the Wii it does something more important than meet the hype.

This is the Wii version of Perfect Dark. The campaign, guns, and feel are so reminiscent of Perfect Dark it's undeniable.

If you only own a Wii, this game does provide sporadically impressive visuals, one of the best online experiences on the console, perhaps the best/most customizable controls of any Wii FPS, and a reason to blow the dust off of your system for awhile.

Do not expect to be delighted with this unique adventure, but the game itself, especially in terms of gameplay, will be able to enjoy you wile it lasts.

There’s not much to hate about The Conduit outside of some lamentably uninspired design decisions. There isn’t much to love, either. It feels like a 10-year-old game at times, albeit a reasonably polished one. It’s on Wii, though, and that will be enough for some people.

Nothing more than an occasionally attractive run of the mill FPS, backed up by a decent multiplayer mode that stands out due to the relative weakness the Wii has in this area.

It seems set with doing the bare minimum (a lot of the time, not even that) and expects it to be acceptable just because it’s splashing around in a small pond starved of enough shooters to hold the flag without it.

Played for around five minutes.
Gave up.
Difficult as **** to play.
Graphics are strange, and from what I could remember, somewhat ****ty.
Was addicting.
If you are looking for a game that is so **** challenging and **** addicting, this game is recommended.
If looking for a game to play casually, or just not freaking hard as hell,
DON'T **** BUY THIS.

This is great FPS game for the Nintendo Wii, the devs actually put a lot of effort into it.

I bought this game for £13.50 which is a good price for what i got. The pros are it has good graphics, fast paced gameplay, nice selection of weapons. There are some serious difficulty spikes in the game though, so be warned one section in particular had me losing lives endlessly even on normal difficulty. I dont mind a challenge but this was ridiculous. this aside a good game that was very entertaining and worth the asking price. Overall a 7.

SummaryThe Conduit is a first-person action shooter that promises to provide some of the best visuals seen to date on Nintendo's Wii gaming console.
