Paper Mario: Sticker Star8
Aug 15, 2024
This game is criminally underrated. It has a really creative gameplay gimmick of rebuilding parts of the world with stickers. The lack of EXP and levels is refreshing due to the lack of grinding. I will say that there are items in the game that there is no hint whatsoever as to when you need them or how to get them but this was a minor inconvenience that barely detracted from my experience. Also.... why is Bowser's Castle so short?!

Pokemon HOME0
Apr 6, 2024
Worst subscription service ever. You have to pay $15 PER YEAR (adds up fast) for basic game functionality, and once you move your Pokemon in, any that are dexited from whichever Switch games you have saves on are permanently stuck in Home. Nintendo will delete them if you refuse to pay the price to keep them from dropping the axe on them. Do you know what this is? Your data generated on a console you own is being held hostage under threat of deletion. This is ransomware! But, unlike ransomware, you have to keep paying and you can't even call the police or report it to the FBI. Absolutely predatory business practices.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus3
Feb 2, 2024
Truly atrocious game, I hate it so much. The story and Pokemon are cool but you can honestly just play Platinum instead for most of the same Pokemon and better story and gameplay. There is SO MUCH stupid braindead grinding in this game! You need to accumulate several different types of points to rank up and to buy various items and you get them in such small amounts compared to the actual amounts of points you need. This is just so stupid and genuinely not fun. It's a giant waste of my time and I wish I didn't need to do this stupid grinding to access basic parts of the game.

Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension8
Oct 15, 2023
Good game, though you might need to have watched the movie to understand the full story on what is happening. It's a game based on the TV show Phineas and Ferb, and follows the storyline of Phineas and Ferb when they are travelling through the dimensions on their way back home. The part we saw very little of in the movie. This is basically Super Mario 3d Land on DS, it has similar creative level designs and similar gameplay. I should point out however that Ferb is excessively useful in comparison to the other characters, as his ray gun has the best potential to defeat enemies and can solve nearly all the different puzzles. For comparison, Perry, one of the other main characters, has no readily usable ranged maneuver. (this is a game where the enemies primarily use projectiles so this puts Perry at a considerable disadvantage)

Super Mario Galaxy 210
Oct 15, 2023
Excellent 3d platformer game. A true masterpiece, it has great level design, great gameplay and controls, and it has a good variety of different level designs. One galaxy you could be in a relatively normal looking place but there are some very abstract and unusual ones, this variety makes all of them memorable.

Super Mario 3D Land9
Oct 15, 2023
It's good but not quite as good as its Wii U counterpart, which is confusingly similarly called "Super Mario 3d World". This one has some interesting level design but it lacks variety at times. There is only one character (Mario) and there isn't multiplayer. Aside from that I did enjoy playing this game, but I do like Super Mario 3d World better.

Super Mario 3D World10
Oct 15, 2023
Excellent 3d platformer game! I got this with my first-ever Wii U and have had tons of fun playing it with friends. The 3d controls are surprisingly easy to learn, especially for a game that isn't a turn based RPG like Pokemon. It also provides a challenge at times, it's much more challenging than the other Mario games on the Wii but isn't absolutely crushingly hard.

Pokemon Black Version8
Oct 5, 2023
Very good game, the story is among the best in the series. I really like the new Pokemon, and I underappreciated the Fifth generation in the past because of my strong nostalgia for third and fourth generation, but I like it quite a lot nowadays. However: I must warn you to definitively get White version if you have no other available Pokemon games. It has 100 extra version exclusives not in Black because of a postgame area called White Forest (Black version has Black City instead).

I formerly disliked this game along with the rest of Generation six when I first tried them, but once I got to actually appreciate the good parts I ended up really liking this game. Mega Evolution is my favorite generational gimmick, because it takes Pokemon I already liked and makes them even better! I do think this game is somewhat too easy and lacks postgame, but other than that I recommend this over the Switch games namely SwoShiCrap and ScatVomit. UPDATE: I accidentally put a 2/10 on this game, I did not intend to do so. I was writing the review from my mobile device and may have accidentally touched the wrong button. Sorry for the inconvenince, my actual score is 9/10.

Pokemon Ranger7
Oct 5, 2023
I played this primarily for the Manaphy Egg but I still find the game fun and replay it maybe once every one-and-a-half years. I find its take on gameplay interesting, though I think it would be better if there were more Pokemon you could send to the mainline games than just the Manaphy. Also, you can only send the Manaphy Egg once per CARTRIDGE, not once per save file, so if you transfer the Manaphy egg to Diamond/Pearl/Platinum you literally have to buy a new copy of this game to get another. Aside from that I like this game and it's fun if it's your taste.

ROBLOX1
Oct 5, 2023
This game is not only bad on its own but is bad for the game industry as a whole, and can harm children. **** is a game that creators can create games inside of, so when you play **** you're not playing a game called "****" but instead a game created by the community. This causes problems because it opens it up to highly inappropriate sexual content. I have heard countless different stories from parents who have experienced a variety of unpleasant things including but not limited to predators and "condo games" (don't look this up unless you're an adult). In addition, this game has damaged Pokemon beyond repair, starting with 2014 when tons of content was cut from the otherwise great Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire during development just because kids these days have tablet games like this. Now that we're at Scat and Vomit the damage is extensive and has resulted in Dexit and DLC trash.

I like the gameplay and adventure, but the levels are far too linear aside from the short puzzles like fixing a pipe or moving a crane. Also, the gravity in this game is crazy, like the dial was turned up to 350%. Why is there even a jump button if you can't even jump three inches off the ground anyway?!

Sep 23, 2023
While the game does have a bit of backtracking, it's still a fun game. The gameworld is somewhat less immersive than the first game but it more than makes up for it with the cool abilities you unlock to traverse. The battle system is the best it's ever been, like partners have their own HP now! The story is really good, though since it's a sequel you should probably play the first game first.

Excellent game, the story is good, but what's great is the gameworld and gameplay. Action Commands make the battles feel more interactive than typical role playing games. Pokemon Scarlet / Pokemon Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero - Part 1: The Teal Mask0
Sep 20, 2023
Shouldn't even be a full postgame let alone a DLC. I think this DLC is very rushed and incomplete, and it only brings 200 or so Pokemon back, not the full dex. Plus, they split it into *two separate but identical versions*! Don't buy the DLC, anyone who has played Emerald or Platinum knows that this is less than their postgame content yet is sold as a stupid DLC.

Pokemon Colosseum9
Sep 5, 2023
Excellent game, but mostly for pros and experts. There is a story mode and a battle mode, where you can get extra Pokemon, challenges and prizes for Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. I strongly recommend however that you get Pokemon Ruby and/or Sapphire plus maybe FireRed/LeafGreen/Emerald before trying this game. It is significantly harder in Story Mode plus the Battle Mode is designed to be used with these forementioned other Pokemon games. If you're used to the newer games I recommend trying one of the GBA games and seeing if you like it before buying Pokemon Colosseum. Also, if you're adapted to Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, get 1,000,000 times more skilled before even considering Colosseum. Overall, very good game, I recommend it to the correct audience. If you've played the GBA games and like them this game might be fun for you.

This game deliberately unfairly disadvantages minors and even some adults. If you're not allowed to go anywhere then you can't get anything in this game, besides there's WAY too much grinding for rewards you'll never get. Aug 23, 2023
Absolutely overpriced and sold in several parts. It's also lacking numerous features from previous games, the PokeBall Plus being the only way to get Mew is just a giant cash grab. In short, play FireRed/LeafGreen instead, they have 200+ more Pokemon to collect, more content, and can actually interact with other Pokemon games to get even more content and gameplay.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond / Pokemon Shining Pearl Double Pack4
Aug 23, 2023
Get Platinum instead and maybe buy an Action Replay to get the mythicals. Switch games are low quality cash grabs with excessively strict terms of service. BDSP is also riddled with softlock bugs. I was once softlocked in Amity Square because for some weird reason they made following Pokemon count as solid objects. I also had a friend send me a picture of him stuck in between unbreakable snowballs in Snowpoint Gym. These were not issues with Platinum so why now?! Finally, the fact they kept the dex cuts for a remake is unacceptable. I think part of why remakes are fun is it's a good old adventure you already liked but with new Pokemon and new features. If I want to limit myself to the original 493 I can simply play Platinum instead.

Pokemon Sword / Shield Dual Pack1

So, I like (most of) the new Pokemon and features but the rest of the game is very subpar. The story is too linear but is impossible to speedrun because of all the cutscenes, and it doesn't have a full dex. The boss trainers are too easy but on the counterside, competitive games are flat out unbalanced. They removed Mega Evolution but introduced Zacian, Calyrex, Regieleki, and Urshifu, which are crazy-broken. Besides, three out of four of those are completely locked behind an overpriced DLC so you will be at a disadvantage unless you buy the DLC.

It's... a very good start but it is lacking extra features that were the reasons why I liked past remakes. The graphics don't bother me whatsoever but the fact they kept the dex cut since Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, and didn't add Platinum's content to the postgame, and removed several moves that balanced the game (Pursuit, Hidden Power [except on Unown which you shouldn't use anyway], etc).... Play Platinum instead honestly. It's less than half the price, it has better content and storyline, and isn't on an overpriced console.
