What an incredible film. Definitely worth watching. The atmosphere is solid from start to finish, with a nice soundtrack and superb acting from a well picked cast.

Exactly what I expected. Another pushed out predictable film from DC with a non-existent storyline, generic action scenes and character development. What a surprise!

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation9
Aug 7, 2015
Loved it, watching this film from start to finish. I feel it is even better than it's previous film Ghost Protocol. The action and stunts are really enjoyable and the camera angles, speed, as well as timing is done just about right so you're not too confused as to what's going on. Something that this film series always gets right. I also liked that they kind of bumped up the storyline as well, whilst still making it somewhat similar to it's previous films. But I still feel that it needs to be worked on as it's still very similar to the previous two films, the third and fourth one. But maybe we will see an improvement in it's sequel. But lets be honest, the MI series is best known for it's action and great acting, not it's storyline. It was just a great thrill ride and it's one of those films that I wish was longer because I enjoyed it that much which is kind of rare for me. Especially films that come out nowadays. I cant wait to see what they do next to raise the bar with its sequel.

Terminator Genisys9
Jul 7, 2015
I really enjoyed Terminator: Genisys, I think it compliments both the first and second film which I really liked a lot, and it explores the storyline in a much more different way this time in comparison to what the normal storyline is - that's not to say that the characters goals have changed of course. The action in the film was done very well, and unlike other big films that come out, the love and detail that has been put into the CGI is fantastic. There was never a moment where I became concious of the fact that the CGI or any of the action sequences seemed out of place or poorly done. It all blended in very well together. It's difficult within a classic franchise to have different actors playing as certain characters. You would want Linda Hamilton playing as Sarah Connor, and all the other original actors back in, but of course sometimes this can't always be the case. I am really glad they picked Emilia Clarke as she looks very much like a younger Sarah Connor or Linda Hamilton should I say. I think she played the part perfectly. Arnold of course did a fantastic job, making subtle joke references to his age and making a few other references to the older films as well which was great. As for Jai Courtney, who was a very important piece to the role did a good job as well but I wish his character seemed a little more out out of place, and surprised to be back to where he ends up. Overall I think Terminator: Genisys is definitely worth watching despite the critic reviews. If you're a big fan of the first two or three films. I think you would need to watch them first though to understand Genisys a little more.

Jurassic World5
Jun 13, 2015
I'll try and keep this as short as I can. Jurassic World is a fantastic film, but you should go in with arms wide open, and try not to think too much of it's previous films. It's as simple as that. Jurassic World suffers a few clichés and a couple of moments that you'll expect. But Jurassic World was still a great film despite those flaws. I would have rated this film an 8, but because of the fantastic soundtrack I've given this a sold 9. If you're of course going in to see explosions, guns, people being eaten, ripped to shreds, that's what you're going to see. But if you're going into the cinema expecting a complex storyline and well developed characters. Then maybe you shouldn't go and watch it. Anyway, I personally thought that Jurassic World was a fantastic film, Chris Pratt did a great job on his role, and so did Bryce Howard. Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson, eh... Well, they did ok for the most part. The overall film was very detailed and immersive, which is another thing that I liked a lot about the film as well. The storyline again, not really complex, you kind of know what's going to happen. That's all there is to it. Just expect lots of action, and some thrill.

Nightcrawler9
May 8, 2015
What a fantastic film, there were so many moments where I expected things to happen, only to be surprised that there were no clichés and many moments where you can predict what was going to happen; making the film even more exciting. Jake Gyllenhaal absolutely smashed the part, he did so well playing as the main character as there were many moments where I genuinely felt creeped out, the film transitions really well from scene to scene, so that you're not bored, or confused at all. The only flaw that I can think of with this film is that it wasn't long enough, there was never a moment where I was bored, or wanting it to end. I was just immersed. But really, it's all about quality over quantity so I can't really complain. I just really hope they make a sequel to this, I can't wait to see what happens next.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles3
Jan 2, 2015
Whilst the action and effects may be fairly good, the storyline and overall voice acting is very poor, you can predict what's going to happen easily, the voice acting is cheesy, and its just a generic hollywood film being pushed out for a quick buck. I'm surprised this film's budget was even over $50 million, I fail to see how it is so expensive compared to other more impressive films I've seen.

Movie 434
Oct 26, 2014
Movie 43 seemed like an interesting film. It has all of these actors in it. Surely it must be good? Well, that depends on your sense of humour I guess; and your age as well. Movie 43 in a nutshell is full of immature jokes and scenarios that a 12 year old would find funny. I'll admit, I found some of it a little bit funny myself, and found the overall concept of the film interesting, trying to find 'Movie 43', but just end up watching one weird short scenario after the next. But the ending wasn't anything special, and the humour became quite dry towards the end of the film. I do disagree however, that this is apparently the 'worst film of all time'. Or the 'citizen kane' of bad films. If you think that, try watching The Room (2003). You'll regret calling this film 'the worst film of all time' after you've seen The Room.

Spirited Away4
Oct 3, 2014
Spirited Away is great in terms of it's weird, imaginative characters, and somewhat confusing storyline but the voice acting (English dub) is just really cheesy, and bad.

X-Men: Days of Future Past9
Oct 3, 2014
Fantastic film, I really enjoyed First Class and was eager to see the sequel as soon as it ended. I'm not a huge X-Men fan, and haven't really followed it that much in terms of comics and its previous films. I have seen X-men 1, 2 and 3. But I haven't seen the Wolverine films. Days of Future Past is very entertaining throughout the entire film, very well done and enjoyable. Although the storyline isn't complex the action is where the heart of the film is, and I enjoyed every second of the film.

Pulp Fiction was something special. Something different, with fantastic character development as well as dialogue and memorable quotes. It's definitely worth watching.

Guardians of the Galaxy5
Aug 7, 2014
Not a bad film, some funny moments, great cast choice and good acting. A few boring clichés, standard CGI. I liked the film, I enjoyed it. But it doesn't really stand out as its similar to other films that get pushed out nowadays. Although I will say it picks a weird balance between a comedic and serious effect here and there. But it's still worth watching.

300: Rise of an Empire4
Jul 25, 2014
It took them seven years to make a sequel. There isn't much to say about this film. It's disappointing. The storyline isn't really anything interesting because its pretty much the typical revenge **** like in almost every other film thats being released nowadays, the characters are boring, they're the standard characters wanting vengeance, and the CGI is insanely bad. At some points it actually felt like I was looking at video game gameplay... As a comparison as this film has large battle sequences, Lord of The Rings budget was $93 Million and the budget for this (ROAE) was $110 Million. A film from 2001 had more believable CGI then a film from 2014, and I'm not even a fan of Lord of The Rings. Of course, they're making another sequel for this film when they could had easily just made this film another 30-40 minutes, then it would had been the end of it... Either way, I hope they do a better job next time. Although, what do we expect digging out a sequel to a 7 year old film? It'll probably be another 5 years for the sequel.

Kung Pow: Enter the Fist10
Jul 17, 2014
This film is random, weird, and hilarious. I don't know why the critics have rated it so low. It's a well done parody / tribute to the 70s martial art films, with out of sync hilarious voice overs. I wish they made a sequel for this. I don't care what the negative reviews have to say, this film was brilliant.
Jun 10, 2014
Frozen2
Jun 10, 2014
This film made 1.2 Billion? I'm not into musicals, so I thought hey maybe the storyline is great which is why its so popular... But no. The film has the most typical boring cliché storyline, and you know whats going to happen 30-40 mins into the film. I wasn't expecting the best storyline in the entire world on a scale of The Matrix or anything like that. But they could have done a lot more. Not to mention the overall animation could had been a slightly better as well. The characters aren't interesting either, nothing really appeals to me about this film. But hey, if you like musicals then you'll love this film to death I guess.

The Green Mile10
May 18, 2014
Despite the film being 3 hours long, it's definitely worth watching. It's really interesting, and I recommend not looking into this film at all as its better that way. The soundtrack for this is brilliant as it's by Thomas Newman which got me to watch this film in the first place. The film is like an adventure, its sad, it's very dark, its a mix of a bunch of things which is what makes it great as well. Not to mention that all of the actors for this film were perfect for their roles as well.
May 18, 2014
Godzilla8
May 18, 2014
Godzilla is a great film, all of the actors in it were great and were definitely chosen well. The CG is pretty good and believable except for one part or two in the film. The destruction and chaos is eye candy and was really well done as well. The storyline is fairly interesting as well besides not being much of one. This film is definitely worth watching. But do not expect an insane amount of fight scenes as the film is more focused on the humans rather than the kaijus. The only thing I was disappointed with was the music for this film. There should had been more adreniline rushing music with guitars etc. Rather than a orchestra.
May 12, 2014
Requiem for a Dream2
May 12, 2014
Very boring film, it may show the effects of how bad drugs can be but aside from that the film is just dark, and extremely boring. I don't recommend this film.

Batman & Robin7
May 3, 2014
This film isn't that bad at all compared to what people have said. I mean sure, Arnold playing the character may have been a bit silly / childish in a way, but I think it kind of adds charm to it as the film kind of mixes in with serious and not so serious with Mr. Freeze. The film is actually pretty good and enjoyable to watch, George Clooney did a pretty good job playing the role, and so did everyone else. The special effects / CG was good enough for 1997, it could had been a little bit better but still good none the less. The fighting choreography was fairly good as well so I dont really know why everyone dislikes this so much. It's not the best 10/10 movie of the year Batman film of all time. But it's still enjoyable and worth watching.

The Lone Ranger10
Mar 21, 2014
Whats with the negative reviews? This film is a solid 10 for me. The film has a great flow. A bit of a slow beginning but the explosions and effects are fantastic and so is the acting. The storyline isn't insanely special but none the less it's a very entertaining film. The CG may be a tiny bit off here and there but that doesn't spoil it. There's also a charm of humour in it as well which makes it great. I was entertained the whole way through. I highly recommend it!

Gravity6
Mar 15, 2014
I'm sorry but this film is overrated. It's enjoyable... But overrated. All it is most of the time is Sandra Bullock breathing. Thats pretty much it. There's nothing much to it.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time8
Mar 2, 2014
Surprisingly good. Except one thing I think they messed up on which they really shouldn't had is the clothes that the prince wears. He's wearing Warrior Within clothing, not sands of time. But whatever. Now obviously when it goes from video game to film 99% of the time it goes horribly wrong. But despite the film not being 100% based on the video game it did do a pretty good job. I wish they portrayed it more like in the video game but at the same time you have to make it entertaining for those who haven't watched it. Besides those few things that bored me this isn't actually a bad film at all...
Aug 20, 2013
The Expendables 24
Aug 20, 2013
I enjoyed The Expendables 1 a lot more than this one. One of the main let-downs for The Expendables 2 is that the CGI is horribly done. Its really bad. Now, most of the time I don't notice CGI in most films, but they just made it flat out obvious and disappointing. The worst part is the budget for this film was $100 MILLION... Yet still horrible CGI. I know they had to use it in one part because 'environmentalists complained that filming could damage the cave and endangered species' fair enough... Anyway, aside from the CGI the film has a few funny one liners here and there obviously. The dialogue between the action scenes is nothing special really... There's no real storyline, aside from saving a person and seeking revenge. Overall the film is disappointing, for me at least. There could had been so much more potential especially with the budget.
Jul 12, 2013
Inception9
Jul 12, 2013
I don't really want to explain much as you need to watch the film to understand but anyway, Inception is a film, so if you're not prepared for that then don't watch it. Inception is somewhat similar to The Matrix as this film is based on dreams, and you understand more as the film plays out so it makes you think. The character development could had been better but it isn't that much of a problem. The action is kind of meh... The thrill of the film is what keeps you entertained.
Jul 12, 2013
Django Unchained10
Jul 12, 2013
This film is hilarious with over the top action scenes which Quentin pulls off very well of course like in his previous films. Yes, there is racism and controversial material but so what? It's something different which is what I like! anyway, Django Unchained really steers away from clichés. It's definitely a film I'd want to watch again.
Jul 12, 2013
The Call8
Jul 12, 2013
A very good film, has an awesome thrilling feel to it. The situation is somewhat cleverly executed and the film itself is something a little different which I like. It could had been less of a cliché but despite that, this film is still worth watching.
May 14, 2013
The Bourne Legacy4
May 14, 2013
This film is just simply boring. It takes an hour just for Bourne to start kicking somebodies ass. What do we get for the first hour? A storyline about some scientists, treadstone, and Jason travelling in some mountain for ages... The action is weak and just doesn't have the thrill like the first two films did. (I haven't seen the third one yet)
May 14, 2013
Iron Man 38
May 14, 2013
Not a bad movie, there is a lot more action than there was in Iron Man 2. It has a strange pace which I can't really describe. I think it could had been better in terms of storyline because it's slightly typical and expectant of what is going to happen, and I think the main character Tony Stark has became more of a joke, and takes things a lot less serious, which I thought was a bit unrealistic considering what has happened to him. But never the less, it's an entertaining movie thats worth watching.
Feb 9, 2013
The Matrix10
Feb 9, 2013
Well, after all these years of gaming communities being inspired by it as well as parodies from other films. I finally watched it. The film is confusing in some ways but it really makes you think. The film is very entertaining and has very impressive CGI for 1999. It's definitely worth watching.
Jan 18, 2013
Dredd10
Jan 18, 2013
Amazing film, I really enjoyed it. Great special effects, the blood was a bit off but thats nothing to worry about. The acting was really good, Dredd is a very dark character in this film. The character Anderson also fits well with Dredd.

Are the critics smoking something over there? It may not have the best script in the world but this was an entertaining movie, and great effects on the predator.
Jun 9, 2012
Alien: Resurrection9
Jun 9, 2012
I dont understand why people are giving this negative reviews. It made have had a cliche storyline but it had more action than Alien 3. I found this movie very entertaining. Ripelys personality isn't much since she's been cloned, and since she was dead already which makes sense. I also like some of the creativity the creativity of Ripelys blood.
Jun 3, 2012
Project X9
Jun 3, 2012
Laughing at the people getting mad how there's no character development and typical how they're expecting the movie to have this and that. I dont care about that. All I care about if its an enjoyable or entertaining film. Thats it. Anyway, I found the film quite lulzy and typical teens trying to get popular and wanting a successful party. Its great when it all becomes chaotic and the entire place is getting wrecked. If you're looking for people partying hard and lots of alcohol and some chaos. Spend a small amount on this film.
May 19, 2012
District 97
May 19, 2012
Interesting film, I think the first 20 minutes were boring but then it became more entertaining. Simple storyline but the ending is a bit different aside from Hollywood cliche endings. I'll tell you that. Also the main character says **** a lot of times... It was unnecessary.
Apr 21, 2012
The Fifth Element10
Apr 21, 2012
What can I say? This movie is epic for its time and is underacted.
Apr 20, 2012
Trollhunter9
Apr 20, 2012
An interesting film, yes it did lose it's build up of tension. But it was something different compared to what Hollywood films are. The Norwegian language makes it a lot more entertaining and just adds a nice feel to it. It's got a subtle atmosphere and there's nothing much to say really. I mean, it's just something different.

Desperado10
Nov 12, 2011
This movie is amazing, the acting, the guns, the action; it's all there. Simple storyline, the main character kicks ass. This is a bit of a hollywood clichà I guess, but it's still a very enjoyable film.
Aug 23, 2011
Rise of the Planet of the Apes10
Aug 23, 2011
A very entertaining and thrilling film. I had no idea what to expect since I didn't watch any trailers or anything. This film blew me away, the CG was amazing. James Franco did a great job and so did everyone else.
Feb 3, 2011
Max Payne3
Feb 3, 2011
I loved Max Payne (video game) so there's a film! I watch the trailer and it doesn't really look like the game
I didn't know what to expect, so I watch it and the action scenes are nice but everything else ****. The best part is, none of it makes sense, its nothing like the game, what about the train station scene (Roscoe street station) the thugs just walk right in and want his watch. Isn't he supposed to kill them whilst they wait for the train? They've all mixed it up and the characters have a terrible roll. They even chose the wrong character that they kill in the ending. Nope, NOT Nicole Horn, someone else! I mean, how can they choose the wrong character! Skip this film, its not worth the time.
Jan 6, 2011
Gulliver's Travels8
Jan 6, 2011
Its not the best movie of all time, but its got a nice charm to it and its a usual clichÃ. Plus, I didnt like the fact that the builders built lights, his house, etc. When it was impossible to get back then so...? Yeah. Doesnt make that much sense "but who cares!" Its still a good film, but a bit boring.
Jan 5, 2011
Die Hard: With a Vengeance9
Jan 5, 2011
Sure, it doesnt have the same feeling as the first or second one but its still amazing for a third sequel right? I mean, look other films that have had 3 sequels, they were bad. The beginning takes a little bit to get your head round. It's basically John Mclane and Samuel L. Jackson solving puzzles by Simon.
