Ghost of Yotei10
Feb 7, 2026
It’s hard to put into words what an amazing artistic journey this game is. It feels like constantly walking through a perfect painting. Those carefully staged moments, crafted by countless developers to give you that “wow” feeling, seem to be a requirement at every turn in Ghost of Yotei. It’s as if every inch of the world and every vista has been thoughtfully considered and perfected by the art directors. The feeling of wandering through a fairytale-like myth never gets old. While the story is a bit more straightforward than in Tsushima, it feels more personal and offers room to explore the world in different phases. That, too, has been refined to near perfection. It feels natural to do more than simply check off main quests. The main character, Atsu, resonates with me more than her predecessor, Jin, thanks to the emotional depth invested in her development. All of this is supported by a fantastic soundtrack, excellent sound design, fluid and well optimised gameplay, incredible boss fights, and meaningful improvements to the weapon systems. Everything comes together seamlessly, making you feel that vengeful Onryō in every fiber of your being. Could it be even better? Almost no game is perfect, but Ghost Of Yotei comes close. Only the facial animations for the non-main characters were notable for their drop in quality. The world could also use a few more random encounters, unique to each region, to make it feel even more dynamic. But in conclusion; this is the feudal Japan game I’ve always dreamed of. Ghost of Yotei is a masterpiece.

Mafia: The Old Country7
Dec 9, 2025
Simply a true classic mafia story. Well-written, memorable characters, and Sicily as a magnificent canvas. The story, the music, and the atmosphere make the game. The decision to return to the old country was a good one. On the other hand: the mediocre gameplay, predictable progression and empty world let the game down. Every now and then it really feels like a toned down red dead redemption. It could be so much more if the world does not only function as a background. Overall, it's still an experience that truly fits the series.

Dispatch hits all the right spots with a banger story, amazing cast, perfect voice acting and a great animated style. It fits and it works. The dispatch gameplay feels repetitive fast which was my only letdown. The puzzels made up for it. At the end it was an amazing experience that felt like my own. An absolute recommendation.

Alan Wake II9
Nov 6, 2025
Alan Wake 2 is the most disturbing and terrifying game I ever played. The constant ominous and disturbing feeling of a nightmare combined with a world where you feel lost in the darkness makes this game one of the best horror stories in video game form. The story is complex but therefore interesting. However, it occasionally loses its balance, causing you to lose track of the narrative. Besides that, Alan Wake 2 is a work of art within the genre.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 3310
Jul 12, 2025
What began as an attempt to see if a turn-based game would be right for me ended in a surprising perfect fit. Claire Obscure delivers exactly what its title suggests; the stark contrast between expectation and outcome couldn't have been bigger since the game has become my game of the year and perhaps even one of the best games ever made. It's creative, emotional and daring to assert its own identity. The wondrous and dreamy worlds, the perfect soundtrack, the sound design, and the deeply layered combat brought to life with flawless animations couldn't have been crafted more perfectly. It's challenging to grasp, but the more satisfying it is once you master the system and can use its combat elements against the various enemies. The same goes for the story. Perhaps the best I've ever experienced in a game. The mystery haunts you and leaves you hungry for more answers. The characters are human and become more relatable as you uncover more answers. The story concludes in a climax where I could hardly make the given choice. Literally the only thing I missed in this game was a database where you could quickly read about the lore, characters, or parts of the game you can't remember right away. This doesn't detract from what is essentially a perfect game. Claire Obscure: Expedition 33 is a gift for anyone who loves games, created by developers with vision and a lot of passion. A standing ovation for Sandfall Interactive!

Beautiful world, suitable music and a story full of wonders. But the traversal and especially combat are not fun anymore after playing more than 2 chapters. It doesn’t do anything to keep the player engaged. Unfortunately, it is a typical Gamepass try-out game.

Assassin's Creed Shadows5
Jun 28, 2025
Assassins Creed Shadows is a feast for the eyes. It is one of the most beautiful open worlds that exist. At the same time, the world gives the player nothing more than great sightings. It hurts as an AC fan to see this franchise decline like this. There is almost no creativity in the mission structure that is filled with meaningless conversations, the world is very empty without any form of interaction that suggests that you are actually in an interactive world and don’t you dare to deviate from the designated track. You will immediately be punished by poorly passable mountains or forests. You can actually say that this is a linear game in an empty open world. This makes the entire charm of this franchise disappear. The exploration, the discovery of secrets and the feeling of ‘I'm going to do one more thing'. It is completely missing in this game. The story itself missed pacing since the biggest part of the story (act 2) you are running around following up leads that are organised via an objectives board. The whole game is played trougout this menu which can feel like a chore very quickly. And if you just want to go trough the story you have to give in into the massive board that grows and grows with side content due to the fact that you need a certain level cap for main story missions. Unfortunately, this whole game lacks the DNA of Assassins Creed, which makes you wonder if it will ever return at this point. Pro’s :- Graphics- Sound design- Sound track- Change of seasons Cons:- Traversal- Mission design- No dynamic world events- Character customization- Slow leveling system- Two protagonists- Repetative content

Astro Bot9
Sep 27, 2024
A cheerful, colorful and musical adventure for young and old. Astro Bot knows how to make a name for itself with this first full game within the platform genre. Whether you want to get through it quickly or are looking for more challenges, this game knows how to guard this boundary well and gives the player the choice. Despite the good balance, it sometimes felt repetitive because (most) worlds and enemies feel like a skin of the same mold. The game IP themed worlds is where the game shines the most. Last but not least; no bugs, lags, framedrops or errors. A very well build game!

Rise of the Ronin8
Sep 13, 2024
Strong, addictive combat. A story that goes deeper than the most chosen 'revenge theme' and a world in which you can really feel like a Ronin. Rise of the Ronin is an entertaining action-adventure with enough content to satisfy many types of play styles. At the same time, this last point prevents the game from an excellent status. The world is full of content with the well-known icons that you can quickly get tired of it. For me personally, it resulted in the choice to go for the main story alone. This gave some direction in the large open areas. The open world became a canvas instead of a vast sand-box with little adventures. Still, the game is a blast until the end because of the story, the interesting characters and the combat. Even the graphic style fits what Team Ninja wanted to create. Pros:- Combat- Story- Characters Cons:- Bloated map- Collecting supplies had no weight because it was not necessary to progress- Inventory management

Fantastic world building, level and art design. Overall, Jedi Survivor is a mature and more in-depth experience compared to its predecessor. Pros:- World building- Art design- Combat Cons:- Inconsistent framerate- Save points

Marvel's Spider-Man 29
Jan 12, 2024
Bombastic from start to finish, a compelling story and the smoothest combat you can't experience in any other game. very simple; Spiderman 2 is the best superhero game ever made. In this second part, Insomniac manages to narrow the gap between gaming and films without losing sight of the gamer's experience at any point. However, there are some things that make the game not perfect. The world is still filled with a lot of filler content and it mainly feels like a canvas for the traversal. Boss fights are also a thorn in the side with three or sometimes even 4 phases. It's the little things that take you too far out of the flow of the otherwise flawless adventure. All in all, this game ultimately makes it a must play for every Playstation 5 owner. Pros:- Story- Combat- Graphics - Sound design- Music- Enemy variety throughout the story Cons:- Open world filler content- Side missions- Boss fights

Nov 9, 2023
Jusant is an amazing, sereen experience that feels unique every step of the way. Climbing has never been this detailed and fun in a game before. It results in a rewarding the journey during the level progression. Unfortunately, the story is told in letters left behind by others. It is not engaging or very interesting. But the fact it is still an enjoyable experience says enough. Pros: - Climbing mechanics
- Art style
- Length of the game Cons:
- letter based story

Assassin's Creed Mirage7
Oct 26, 2023
With Assassins Creed Mirage, Ubisoft promises to 'go back to the roots'. Something that in this case gives a divided feeling on several levels. Ubisoft proves that they are masters at world building. Mirage presents a world in which you can literally lose yourself. It is therefore fantastic to have Baghdad and the surrounding area as your playground. At the same time, it is also the only thing the game excels in. The combat is weak and mainly a way out if your stealth approach didn't work. The characters are mediocre and the story is literally all over the place. It is told through various clues that can each be picked up independently of each other. This results in a vague mix of elements that have to make sense in a confusing investigation menu. And most of the storytelling is strung together by notes in the world. You cannot expect the player to be really invested in the story if it is mainly tied together in this way. The fact that the last hour of the game has more pacing, storytelling and character building than the 29 hours before says a lot. But there is something about the AC world that will keep you on the hook. The vibrant world, the atmosphere of the setting, the culture that you slowly get to know by collecting different information points, the soundtrack, the language. At the end, Mirage is just fun! Ubisoft shows that you can still forget the time when you sneak through the unforgettable world as an deadly assassin. Pros: - Vibrant World- Atmosphere - Soundtrack- Stealth gameplay- Gaining historical information during playtrough Cons:- Combat- Story- Characters- The ending proves that the storylines of AC games are still to far fetched - Screen tearing on Xbox

Starfield8
Sep 28, 2023
Looking at the stars in the sky on a clear evening. The black cloth with white luminous points. So far away from everything that is our reality. Starfield gives a glimpse of what the other reality could be. A game for the dreamers, the philosophers or anyone who looks at the stars at night. It is unique in it’s atmosphere and scope but at the same time recognizable in shortcomings that many games have exposed in the past. Still, Starfield is a unique experience that I wouldn't have wanted to miss. If only that the game gives me even more food for thought of what we as humans are part of. Starfield is a lot. And maybe it also wants too much. Side missions that are continuously added to your activity log, a universe filled with people that cannot function without your help and game modes that are in-depth but often not necessary to properly experience the game. At the same time, it suits the setting that a lot is possible but not much is needed. Don't like the (side) missions? Go out into the universe yourself and discover new planets. And this is the most disappointing element of this game for me personally. Exploring is something that forms the basis in a space setting. Yet you will notice that the universe is filled with empty shells. Logical because they are deserted planets that differ from what we know on Earth. But it still doesn't feel well developed since the player is mainly walking from interest point to interest point with nothing in between. Land on any planet and you will notice that you always have to walk far for repetitive settings. This really gets in the way of your imagination and the will to keep exploring in search of something new. It's pretty much the same and feels soulless. The main story makes up for it’s shortcomings . It is the common thread that ensures that you do not drown in the amount of content and can complete your adventure with some guidance. It is a story that maintains the mystery of the universe and is satisfying enough to keep going. This without offering a superficial conclusion at the 'end' of your adventure. Ultimately, it makes the old-fashioned elements in the game fade away. The many loading screens, the continuous management of your inventory in many menus, the dated and bland characters that accompany you. Ultimately it doesn't matter in the overall experience. It is unique, gives food for thought and makes you dream about everything we cannot comprehend. At the end of the ride, Starfield is just plain fun! Pros:
- Detailed artstyle
- Sounstrack
- Combat
- Story
- Scope of the universe
- Almost no bugs Cons:
- Characters - Inventory management - Loading screens
- Exploration
- Ship combat
- No 60fps on console (logical but still a pitty)

Planet of Lana is a hidden gem within the puzzle genre. The story is personal, mysterious and leaves room for your own interpretation. And it is precisely the interpretation that makes the story so interesting. There are several ways to explain the events Lana is facing. The art and sound design are top notch and make the game unique. Here and there the puzzles feel repetitive, but this will not hinder the experience the game gives you.

Superliminal is a first class experience. What an incredibly beautiful game. The developers have found a perfect balance between executing the puzzles and telling the underlying idea without losing the space for your own interpretation. There's just enough to keep you playing without getting discouraged by over-thought-out puzzles. The style and music complete the package. Kudos to the makers and coders who managed to make this happen. Superliminal is a real gem within the genre.

Great vibe and art style. A perfect game for the Switch that you play every now and then. What is nice about this game is that it explains step by step what the possible combinations are. It keeps the levels fresh and challenging without losing track of the player. The makers don't force you to do anything impossible either. No super highscores or unbearable challenges. It is never an experience full of irritations. Just a nice game! Pros:

The Callisto Protocol7
Jul 31, 2023
The Callisto Protocol is a wonderfully atmospheric linear rollercoaster that almost feels like an old school game. It is not too much but just enough. ****'ve played 2/3 of the game. It seems as if the developers suddenly thought, let's make impossible fights regardless of the difficulty. It results in exposing all the game's flaws. Save points that are not planned well, always short of credits, ammo, health, the combat that falls short with more and stronger enemies and so on. The result is mainly irritation and a bitter taste of the game in general. It is a shame since it is mostely an adventure that is fun to go through. In conclusion, it is a fun game with major flaws. Yet it is worth your time if you can get it with a discount. Pros:
- Atmosphere - Hack and Slash
- Graphics Cons:
- Leveling system with credits
- Combat is far from perfect - Difficulty end stages of the game are out of proportion - Level design is repetitive

Jul 8, 2023
Luigi’s Mansion 3 is the most fun Nintendo game I have ever played. Every level is such a joy to walk trough. It is like unwrapping an animated Nintendo Movie with an own identity on each floor. The boss fights are challenging and until the last level the attacks of the enemies are varied. At the wnd this is a must play for young and old Nintendo players! Pros:
- Level design
- Boss fights
- Animations Cons:
- Controls are not as smooth as the combat desires sometimes
- Final boss fight is not balanced compared to the rest of the game

Alan Wake Remastered5
Jun 24, 2023
Maybe I don't see the hype around this game, but basically Alan Wake isn't much that special. The most positive part of the game is the story. It's food for thought and is deeper than most horror games. The atmosphere is also consistent and pervasive. Yet it also disappoints. The gameplay loop is extremely basic, repetitive and often even boring. The port on the Switch is also downright bad. All in all it was not the impressive experience that many claim it is. Pros:
- Story
- Atmosphere Cons:
- Gameplay(loop)
- Nintendo Switch port

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores7
Jun 18, 2023
Burning Shores is a graphically beautiful adventure that doesn't have as much impact as the main story, but does deepen the character of Aloy. It is not a must play unfortunately since the story does not add anything to the main events. Pros:

- Enemy design Cons:
- Difficulty settings in the main game were more balanced
- There is a big choice for Aloy at the end of this DLC. Although there is a choice, the writers made very clear which path the player should choose.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II5
Mar 31, 2023
Call of Duty MW2 is a well-known formula that even manages to get boring during the short 4 to 5 hour campaign. The non-creative mission design quickly becomes repetitive and at the end it is always the same conclusion storywise. On the other hand, the game looks phenomenal for an FPS and the extra features of the Dualsense add weight to the many available weapons. The multiplayer had lots of modes for every type of player. At the same time, it is very hard to find those modes you looking for in the many menu’s and pop-ups to make sure you are connected, subscribed or logged in. Maybe it's just a personal conclusion that Call of Duty doesn't have the effect it used to in the past. In the end, I simply didn't enjoy this game and won’t likely play this franchise again. Pros:
- Graphics Cons:
- Downloading the game
- Downloading pack 1
- Downloading pak 2
- Downloading Warzone
- Downloading any other modes - Ending the main ‘villan’
- Mission design

God of War: Ragnarok9
Mar 15, 2023
God of War Ragnarök is a bombastic AAA experience filled with memorable moments full of action and emotion. It's arguably one of the best linear story games ever made. Still, Ragnarök is by definition no better than its predecessor from 2018. The story feels less compact, intimate and focused due to the many perspectives. The gameplay isn’t varied despite the small tweaks and because of this the gameplay loop sooner or later gets a little in the way of excitement. You can clearly see when you are in an 'arena' to, again, overcome the next button smash encounter. Nevertheless, it remains special that it is precisely in this game that human emotions are portrayed so well. Every character feels incredibly human, it almost looks like a movie adaptation of a mythological script. Even kratos will face and show his emotions. It is clear that Santa Monica has created unforgettable boss battles, characters and conversations. Although the story felt too divided, which resulted in loss of interest in some segments of the story, it still feels I missed much within it because there is so much to take in. It makes sense to play the story again or explore all the side activities in the world to understand this adventure even more. One thing is certain; God of War Ragnarök fires a lot of epic moments at you in the 20 hour journey through the 9 realms. Pros:
- Characters (Odin in particular)
- Voice acting
- Bombastic experience
- Story details
- Art design
- Sound design/Sound track Cons:
- Less focussed story than it’s predecessor.
- Design of the menu’s. It is to difficult to understand all the possibilities for the casual gamer/ non GOW fan

Hogwarts Legacy7
Mar 1, 2023
Hogwarts Legacy is packed with content, secrets, and stories, but it mostly suffers from the fact that everything feels repetitive after the 10 hour mark. Hogwarts itself is the main star in this game. The castle is amazingly detailed, full of secrets to discover and really feels like the magical place described in the books. Avalanche did an amazing job creating the iconic building inside-out. The world beyond the walls of Hogwarts is big. Actually, too big. It is an amazing world to see but not to explore. Perhaps the world is the representation of the problem of this game; there is much, but at the end, much of the same when following the main story. Fortunately, there is enough variety in the activities outside the story. From taking care of your magical beasts to working out every detail in your room of requirement. Avalanche has really looked closely at what is possible within the world of Hogwarts Legacy. Still, I was left with a bittersweet feeling. The game does everything it could have done but misses the mark on some essential points. Because of this I lost the fun of playing the game halfway through the story (finished the story after all). At the end a golden future awaits. A lot of people and fans are incredibly happy with how the game turned out and it seems like there are way more magical stories to be told in the Hogwarts Universe. Pros:
- Artstyle
- Music
- The castle
- Animations Cons:
- Main story
- Side missions
- Mission design
- Character conversations
- UI
- Switching between spells

Hi-Fi Rush8
Feb 19, 2023
Hi-Fi Rush is a masterpiece of consistent artwork in every detail of the game. At the same time, the gameplay rests too much on the same elements and an old-fashioned way of implementing them. Have you played the first half hour of the game? Then you have already gone through the entire gameplay loop. Apart from the nice boss battles, it is much of the same, all the time. While the gameplay is addictive and the art style amazes you every time you enter a new area, the continuously repeating loop eventually gets in the way. Nevertheless, this is a game you dreamed about as a kid. It looks like the cartoons from your childhood. But this time you walk through it yourself! Pros:
- Artstyle
- Rhythm gameplay mechanics Cons:
- Short gameplay loop
- Quickly feels repetitive

A card- and mobile game. Two categories that I normally resolutely skip. Still, Marvel Snap convinces with fast, challenging rounds that constantly make you think about your next move. The structure of the game is simple, but the execution is well thought out with addictive elements that keeps the player in the gameplay loop. The finishing touch; cool card designs and the possibility to collect better cards that can change you strategy. Marvel Snap really is an addition to the game library of your mobile devices! Pros:
- Fast pace and short gameplay loop
- Card designs
- Collecting cards Cons:
- No in depth options for you card decks/collection (like trading with other player)

Cyberpunk 20778
Jan 29, 2023
After several tries and years of waiting, Cyberpunk 2077 is finally a game that is memorable in a positive way. At the same time, it is a game full of contradictions. It does so much right but falls short to be called an actual RPG. Despite the different options in dialogue that can ultimately lead to different endings, Cyberpunk basically feels like a well-written linear game in an open world setting. This is not bad since the story is strong, the detail is great in weapons, cars, environments and characters. On the other hand, the world never feels completely 'alive' as very little happens in the world outside of your own story. In the end, after all the broken promises of CDPR, a very fun and nice game remains that is definitely worth playing and feels like the basis and start of the Cyberpunk universe which is very exciting! Pros:
- Story
- Characters
- Voice acting
- Details in weapons, cars and the world
- Atmosphere Cons:
- Skill/leveling system does not feel rewarding - Crafting
- Save points
- Almost no world events
- Mobile phone feels more like a burden because you will be called all the time

Writing a funny script and making matching characters is extremely difficult. High in Life is one of the few games that proves to be a perfect match for the genre of comedy. Talking weapons that each have unique functions, an amazing art style and excellent voice acting makes this game a must play. it feels unique and addictive. On the other hand, the variation in enemies is weak, so the missions structure feels monotonous. Yet it manages to keep you interested because of the beautifully worked out worlds. High on life is a surprising gem that actually makes you laugh out loud! Pros:

- Guns
- Funny scipts
- Worlds Cons:

Resident Evil 28
Dec 6, 2022
Resident Evil 2 is a classic horror game in which the atmosphere is crucial in combination with the puzzles of your environment. The structure of the game really gives you the feeling that you are in control of your discoveries. Everything has been carefully mapped out to discover what it takes to make progress. In addition, it is nice that jumpscares are not used obsessively because it is not necessary to make the gamer feel scared. A weak point of the game's design is the two-part story. Where you expect that you can discover a completely new area with the second main character, this turns out not to be the case. You'll have to go through the same area (you've already completed with your first character) with minor tweaks here and there. At the start of your second character's story, your first play through seems to be totally forgotten. Yet, both story are needed to understand the full picture. Nevertheless, this is a game that will leave you on the edge of your seat while you lose track of time! Pros:
- Atmosphere - Zombies
- Story
- Puzzles of the environment - Dualsense features Cons:
- Two-part story that have a lot of overlap and yet are not connected as a whole

A Plague Tale: Requiem4
Oct 27, 2022
This second part of A Plaques Tale shows that it is better to close the book for good. There will undoubtedly be a third part, but is that really necessary? Requiem excels with unprecedented environmental graphics. It is wonderful to see how the views come to life through the realistic world building. At the same time, it doesn't do anything new in terms of gameplay. If you played part 1, you have also played part two. You can expect some minor tweaks but it's no more than that. Then one thing remains; the story. It feels like a hit or miss. For me personally it was an absolute disaster. None of the emotional bond between siblings came through due to the terrible voice acting, poor lip-sync and unrealistic approach to the conclusion. It's all a bit too far fetched and overdone. Hugo is the personification of this game. He feels more like a burden than the brother you want to give everything for. Maybe literally because you have to hold his hand and comfort him the whole game long. For now it's finally time to let go. Pros:
- Enviromental design and graphics Cons:
- Voice acting
- Minor additions in gameplay mechanics
- Hugo
- Story (for me personally)

Beacon Pines7
Oct 16, 2022
At first glance, Beacon Pines seems like a simple game. However, if you spend time exploring the characters and the story, there appears to be a lot of depth in the mystery of Beacon Pines as it is told by a narrator who reads a book to the gamer. The way of storytelling has to be your cup of tea tho. For example, the gamer has to read a lot to be able to make sense of the course. If this isn't an issue, you'll love spending your time in the atmospheric village that comes to life with its beautiful art style and soothing soundtrack. The story is not chronological as you can influence your adventure through 'charms' (key words) you collect during the story. As a result, you often encounter story endings that require you to go back in time to be able to positively transform your story. It feels like a setback but you actually learn more about the storyarcs of the characters. At the end, it is a nice little experience where the story is surprisingly cool. Pros:
- Art style
- Story
- Characters Cons:
- A lot of conversations between characters felt to long since you have to click to go to the next sentence

The Last of Us Part I9
Sep 23, 2022
Leaving the price tag aside, The Last of Us Part 1 shows that it is still a phenomenal masterpiece. Although the remake is unnecessary and way too expensive, the upgrades in the UI, AI and graphics are very pleasant. The gameplay is brutal and the story more compelling than ever due to better movements and facial expressions. But unfortunately, it was decided not to take over all the mechanics from part 2. Although Joel is more cluncky than Ellie in part 2, it could certainly have been possible for Joel to dodge the clickers by means of the dodge mechanics (understandable less fluid but still). In the heavy battles this is really something he misses. The AI on the other hand does feel like a breath of fresh air. Enemies feel smarter and actually try to box you in based on your last known position. At the end, the Last of Us part 1 is a real treat for the fans and is still a 10/10 masterpiece. Approaching it as a remake, it is almost perfect with a couple of flaws in the dated movement of the main character. It is worth your money, but not for full price. Pros:
- Better AI
- Facial expressions - Graphics
- Sounddesign Cons:
- Movement of main character feels dated compared with part II

INSIDE9
Aug 3, 2022
A fantastic horror story with simplistic controls that still feel profound due to the thoughtful level design. Art direction, sound design and animations are good and support the overall experience. The story remains a mystery until the last minute and provides the necessary theories. Last but not least. The puzzles are challenging but not impossible to figure out on your own. Inside may be the best game in it’s genre!

As Dusk Falls8
Jul 25, 2022
As dusk falls is perhaps the biggest surprise of the year. The concept is clear; a decision based story in which the player can make crucial decisions in the story. Sooner or later your choices have impact. As dusk falls is excellent in it’s storytelling and believable characters. Wrapped in a clear graphical style that works very well once you get used to it and a timeline that isn't chronological makes this story compelling right to the end. In fact, the final piece gives you food for thought and makes me long for an extension of the story. Pros:
- Story
- Voice acting
- Art style
- Many story paths/different outcomes
- Replay value Cons:
- There are some moments, altough not much, were the game is not giving the player a choice while expected to be.

SIFU7
Jun 26, 2022
An unforgivable game that sometimes gets in the way of the fun. SIFU is a game where fast and smooth hand-to-hand combat has never been portrayed so tightly. It feels satisfying and is addictive. Still, it is not a game that you can recommend to everyone. The gameplay is so fast that there is almost no room to make or practice more difficult moves. The result is the well-known button smashing that actually is not the way you want to play it. There is an option to play SIFU at an easier level. However, you will be through the game within a few hours, which is not worth your money either. Altough it feels like a souls game, it is not in it’s core gameplay. For example, after a few runs there are quick ways to maneuver through the levels and there is the option to soften your runs via shrines. The conclusion is that SIFU is one of the better beat 'em up games that you can play right now. However, you need to know what you're getting yourself into to avoid disappointment. Pros:
- Satisfying gameplay - Level design
- Art direction Cons:
- Very, very difficult on regular mode, Short in easier mode

The Quarry8
Jun 16, 2022
The Quarry is a gripping horror story where it's hard not to play one more chapter than you planned to. The tightly directed story has a nice pace due to alternation between tension and humor. The cast is strong and comes across very well because of the good voice acting. All together they are a believable group of teenagers in a dangerous situation. Technically, it's not a perfect game. It is clear to see that not all the characters' movements are recorded in the mocap studio which breaks the immersion. This is also an issue for some really weird transitions between scenes. The choice of music and timing of shots are off sometimes. Nevertheless, it is a cool experience due to the atmosphere, the characters, the well-designed danger (unnamed for spoilers) and the many options to influence the story. Pros:
- Great and momorable cast
- Voice acting
- Atmosphere - Influence on story
- Replayability Cons:
- Character models
- Character movements during gameplay
- Transitions between scenes are off sometimes

Unpacking8
Jun 8, 2022
Unpacking is a soothing, pleasant and serene experience in which the storytelling is told through the details. It's amazing how the main character's story can come to life through objects without even seeing her for a moment. Controls on console are not great since it is a point and click game but it is not too bad. The game doesn't try to be more than it is, and for this experience, it just fits.

Sniper Elite 56
Jun 5, 2022
Sniper Elite 5 is not the most advanced or modern game. In fact, it looks more like a previous generation game. Still, it's a game that's hard to put down because, simply put, it's fun. It remains satisfying to take someone out from a distance with the well-known bullet time. Still, you sometimes have the idea that the game can take a very long time because there is so little variation in the mission structure. Also, the gameplay is very clunky for a game where precision is so important. This game is therefore an excellent addition to Gamepass, but cannot be justified as a separate purchase. Pros:
- Bullet time
- Fun levels Cons:
- Mission design
- Clunky gameplay
- Automatic save points - Graphics
- Voice acting

Trek to Yomi5
May 27, 2022
Fantastic atmosphere and setting, nice level design and a fitting soundtrack. But gameplay wise it is horrible. In a game where timing is so important, it l missed the mark completely. The irritation will regularly arise because the character does not perform your desired action on time or not at all. The result is a lot of unnecessary repetitions of levels you've already completed. Pros:
- Atmospheric black and white world
- Soundtrack Cons:
- Gameplay/Controls

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection9
May 1, 2022
Unbelievable how good Uncharted 4 still is today. The smooth gameplay, breathtaking locations and beautiful graphics. The game is still among the best. Add to that the various well-polished performance modes, the 3D audio, haptic feedback and Lost Legacy as an extra storyline and you have a great package to relive on the PS5. Pros:
- Well-polished performance modes
- 3D audio
- Haptic feedback/adaptive triggers
- Stories, locations and soundtrack of both games Cons:
- Main characters still can’t sprint while in heavy combat
- Too bad the first Uncharted games are not included. It would be a perfect complete edition

Life is Strange: True Colors7
Apr 15, 2022
Life is Strage: True Colors tells a strong, gripping story. However, the pace of it’s story is occasionally slowed down by long scenes and ramifications in the storytelling that were not necessary. The music, atmosphere and character building, on the other hand, are on a high level throughout the game. Unfortunately, the choices that the player can make do not have a major impact on your story. Yet, at the end, it feels like your own designed storyarc for Alex. Pros:
- Music
- Atmosphere - Story Cons:
- Unnecessary side steps in the main storyline
- Controls of the mini-games
- Performance mode

Bloodroots7
Apr 3, 2022
Nice artstyle, fun levels and enough variety in weapons. However, in later levels this game can be so difficult that it can work against ypur experience. There is also no degradation in difficulty. Either you play the game in the regular mode or you play it in an extremely easy mode. Too bad that there is no middle way found. Nevertheless, it is a fun, fast, trial and error game that will push you to the limits! Pros:
- Artstyle
- Weapon variation Cons:
- Difficulty modes

Tell Me Why6
Apr 1, 2022
A tragic story with impactful moments. However, the stoytelling manner is painfully slow at times. The gameplay mechanics remain basic troughout the game but are enough to empathize with the characters. The art style and the soundtrack are strong yet, in the end this is not a must play game. Pros:
- Story
- Art style
- Soundtrack Cons:
- Facial animations
- Character animations
- Gameplay

Horizon Forbidden West9
Mar 8, 2022
Once in a while you play a game that just fits with everything you like about playing games. Horizon Forbidden West is that extraordinary once in a while experience. What a phenomenal journey this game is! Where its predecessor was fun but it just wasn’t convincing, part two does everything so well that it is one of the best and most fun games I've ever played. The world is beautiful, the music fits into the overall picture and the combat is very satisfying right up to the last arrow you will shoot. Never before have I noticed almost no difference between main and side missions. Together with the incredibly detailed NPCs it really makes it worth looking beyond the main story. I found the story intriguing and mysterious. Where I sometimes found the first part difficult to follow, this story was no less complicated but more accessible. Especially with the idea of what awaits Aloy, this was a worthy sequel to the story. Aloy herself has also grown in depth of her character. She is fierce, witty, funny, compassionate and has become a true icon for Sony Playstation. I wouldn't call the game perfect. The performance mode on the PS5 is just awful. This game is made for 30 fps. Unlike the attack, Aloy can hardly defend herself. Roll or run is your only option. The photomode is limited compared to other games. The AI of machines are only focused on Aloy even in combat with a companion and sometimes you will be annoyed by the autosave that is missing in the open world. A number of points will certainly be improved through patches. Nevertheless, this game is almost perfect and I did not expect to be so carried away in a world full of so much detail in environment, machines and people. Chapeau Guerrilla Games!! Pros:
- Aloy
- The world
- The art design is outstanding
- Character design
- Machine design
- Quests and mission design
- Sound design
- Story
- Overal atmosphere - Graphics
- Cinematic creativity in every scene Cons:
- Performance mode is horrible on PS5
- Defence Combat is limited
- AI of machines are only focused on aloy even during combat with a companion
- Missing autosave in the open world irritates sometimes
- I wish there were more missions in the tropical erea
- No blood in the whole game because of the PEGI 16 rating but it would make the game a little more mature
