I didn't have high expectations from this game and maybe it influenced my attitude, as I really liked the game. I would said that just every part of the game was upgraded. In that remastered version the graphics looks good too. You realy feel it, when you kill zombies or other enemies, sensitivity at a high level. By and large this is the game with the very-very high quality of everything: from simple things like taking stuff from the ground to the gameplay and the whole story with good-worked characters. The only things that not so good are the notes about the game's world, they are too simple and casual.
RE fans will love it 100% because it is too similar to it. For me the game is very very good, but not perfect. Generally, the main thing that the story, the characters and the whole vibe are mostly reached me. I'd even said that there are some Heavy Rain vibes in the game because of the daughter's part of the plot.
In short, the game has become a little better in all its aspects. The most improved part of the game is the story and the relationship between the characters. There are really emotional moments during the game. Otherwise, it's still the same game with minor gameplay changes. I'll just add that maybe it should have been made a little shorter.
The most disgusting and weak part of the whole series. The only way to get any joy and fun from it - to play it with somebody in the "movie night" mode. I can't imagine to play it alone and finish it. Everything is bad in this game but the main idea and the setting. And even those good parts were poorly developed, so it's not enough. The characters are not interesting and even stupid. The gameplay is boring and degraiding. All those elements when the course had been changed are useless. The most collectables are useless too, especially the coins, which you can spend on some lame models. There were some detective movie inserts which could help save all that, but they just were not combine good with the all other parts of the game. So in my opinion there is no way the game is liked by anybody who played other good game of even some other successful parts of the Dark Pictures Anthology.
The feelings of the game are really mixed. Because it has a very interesting and excited setting for me but it is absolutely bad in many other aspects. For example, the gameplay, which seemed not so bad in the begining of the game, became boring after 3-4 hours of playing. I won't even write a word about the plot and the characters, those parts are the weakest. Another good thing but the whole astrotheme is the graphics and the whole environment, which I find rather pretty.
While playing I went through various feelings to this game: from the pure delight to the tedious monotony, but the general impressions are great as you can see from my score. The game's atmosphere and the setting are the most great sides of GoT and those parts have a great influence on such stuff like side quests, colectable and other side activities, so all those things turned out very and very strong. The vibes of deliverance the home island from the invaders were enough interesting and exciting to me.
I also could refer the combat system to the advantages because it felt fresh and not boring almost the whole time of playing (it is 70 hours in my case). The open world is how expected became the most controversial part of the game. On the one hand the views and the nature of game's world are beautiful and they are also stayed fresh and nice the whole 70 hours, typical enemies' camps, mostly typical points of the inerest and a fading interest in those activities closer to the end of the game on the other.
The game's story, the characters and the plot's curves are also not the best side of GoT but they are on a good medium level, some gamers will fully like it.
I would said that the side stories and the world's notes are even better than the main plot. Summarizing all that has been said, I can say thatI loved the game, a very few games caught my attention for 70 hours and longer, so I can call Ghost of Tsushima one of my favorities, but I cannot deny obvious sick sides of it.
I can't share everyone's excitement about the game. Yes, it looks pretty for a game from 2017, but I'd said that this on is the only obvious advantage of the game. The setting and the gameplay are absolutely not for everyone, so some people are in love with it, and the others (like me) simply paseed it quickly and that's all.
The weakest part of the whole trilogy in my opinion. After the second one they had all the potential to make even more great game, but unfortunately they couldn't. Maybe the thing is in the setting and all this Maya and Mexican stuff are not for everyone. The first time I get in Paititi and started doing the side quests, that was a disaster, I wanted to drop it, but later, closer to the end the game became more pleasant and I finished it. The first location and then the location in the church were really good, for example, so maybe the thing is really in the setting of the game. Although, the game's mechanics and graphics felt worse too, so I bet it is not only the setting problem.
The graphics and the gameplay of the remake are rather good, but I really didn't like the fact that there are not too many locations and you shouldrun the same places but with other characters or in the main campaign or in the DLC.
So, it was pleasant to run the story one time, but next activities are controversial.
Of course it is obvious that RDR 2 is one of the best games ever (so I won't mention all the great and goregous aspect of it and will only point out the bad sides), but I would say that it will fit not to everybody. The whole game's potential can be only opened and discovered by spending a lot of time there. If you just finish the story without exploring the open world you won't understand the scales of the game.
The same thing with the side stories and characters, there are many which are not worse than the main's ones.
So, if you haven't 100+ hours to be immersed in it completely, you may not like it like many people do. I wouldn't also say that the main story and characters are the best I've ever played, so as the gameplay, but the general impression after the game is still great.
The game seemed beautiful and pleasant to play the very first time I had ran it. But after 5-10 hours I thought that I couldn't finish it because of it complexity. Now I have 40-50 hours played, finished the main story, trying to reach the hidden finish and playing from time to time in the DLC's contetn. So my advice to all who didn't like the game in the beginning - read some guides and practice more. After you understand the whole mechanic of the game, you can get a real pleasure from this game. Only a few moments disappointed me - the plot and the ending of the game are blurred in places and sometimes the locations and the enemies there were too similar to previous runs.
I had very various feelings while playing this game: sometimes it became too boring with all those tons of text and all the political stuff and sometimes it was very interesting to know what would happen next. This game is really one of the best RPG I've played for many years. Not that RPG with magic, orcs and etc., but the RPG where you can realy play the character you want to be with the setting and the decorations the developers offering to us. So we here have the really good game, but because of too much boring political things in dialogues (which often are too bloated) and because of the weak finale I can only give seven.
Sometimes it is better to leave old games in their time. I played it on PS5 after the first part of Mafia and I was disappointed with it's technical condition. As I remember the original version on PC wasn't in such a bad state. But the story and the characters of this game are still the most strong part so they are save the balance for Mafia II: Definitive Edition.
When I started it, I had remembered nothing about my first experience with this game, so I tried it as a new, I can say so. The game will be rather good for those who likes an atmosphere in games, and for those who likes all this little-town-mystic themes too. But as a game, this remaster not the best one - the technical part wasn't upgraded so much so it would goes as a new game.
And the gameplay itself is not very variative, so the story and the atmosphere are save this game.
I was a big fan of TMNT in my childhood, but of course I've stopped watching and playing new versions of games and movies of the series. So I was glad when I saw this one in the PS Plus, I tried it and my feelings were mixed.
It was pleasant to see all the characters of the universe, but the length of the main story and the game's variety left much to be desired.
There were so many good words about this part of the series so I expected something special. Cold War is really much better than Black Ops 3 or 4, but it is still CoD with it's typical multiplayer. I tried almost all modes of it and there was nothing new or interesting. This time they have worked better on the single campaign, and especially on the atmosphere of some European locations, but I can't say that the game is great or something.
It is one of the most difficult game to give the score. On the one side - the gorgeous world, places and all that connected to the historical part. But on the other side - rather wick story and it is even doesn't end in the main game, you have to buy the DLC to get the whole story; the Ubisfot's features like towers, camps, typical and boring quests and other things are very tiresome too; and also the technical and graphic part of the game is not so great. So every person choose what is more important for him, and eventhough in the second third of the game I was just waiting when it would have finished, I still liked the world of the game, they just should have done it shorter.
Of course we all are disappointed with the way the series is developing: instead of upgrading the game's aspects and technologies EA is just farming money from kids with all those colored cards. But this is current reality and let's try take it more easily. The last few parts I played the career mode only and played just versus CPU, but in that part of the series the gameplay is too scripted even for me. There are not so many new and interesting features in the single mode too. So it is just 4.
The game causes different feelings - the story and the characters are interesting and alive, but the technical side of the game leaves much to be desired, for me. But my score is 7 because there were much more good emotions while playing it: the atmosphere, the relationships between characters and etc. The gameplay and the graphics are really from PS4, so I think it plays the role. So, I definitely recommend it to play whenever you played the original one or not.
The only good thing in this game - it's graphic. In some moments the game looked really nice. All other aspects are bad - the characters, the gameplay, the plot. In my opinion this one is the second worst part after the one with the sunken ship.
I played the Remastered part the first and the only time, I didn't played TLOU dozen times like many others, so it was only my second time playing this game. After the first time I didn't understand the greatness of the game (so did I after the second time) though, but this time I liked it much more. The most important thing that it became really more beautiful and it was a great pleasure to discover the locations and game's details. Of course, the gameplay and the whole technical aspects are on the high level too. In my opinion, the story itself not the strongest part of the game, as well as the secondary characters. So, because of it i give it not the highest score. If we don't talk about the game's price)
If you like the previous Spider-Man game, you will like this one too. Maybe it was not so obvious for people, who played it on release, but now it doesn't cost so much and I think it is a wonderful game in such class. I cleared the map on 100% and it was exciting enough. Of course, some activities were very similar to each other, sometimes fight with similar enemies were boring. But when you mix it with the main and side quests smartly the game plays with bright colors. So I can definitely say that I enjoyed playing it. Besides similar activities I also didn't like too cliched and sleek moments in the character's interactions, often they were too children's and infantile. But in total, with all game's technical beautifulness, I liked it not less than 2018 game, so I gave it the same good score.
It started rather exciting, but the closer the game got to it's end, the worse it got. Even if we omit the technical part of the game because of it's year, the game is still bad-optimized and bad-looking for 2018 year. Of course, the graphics and such things are not so important for games like this, but it was simply unpleasant to play at some places because of those factors. So, we only have the puzzles, the story and the characters left here, but all these parts were also weak in my opinion. There were a lot of puzzles with not very obvious decisions and often they were not very interesting. The story started well but become worse and worse up to the end, and the final was the most disappointed part of the whole game (even worse than the endless backtracking throught the whole game). The characters weren't as bad as the other aspects, but in sum with all bad sides closer to the end they annoyed me too. Strange game, not the worst of course, but I won't play it again.
Maybe it should be played at it's time. Because for 2022 it is just a calm and sad mobile game on console/PC. The story itself wasn't gorgeous for me. The same thing with the characters, only by the second third of the game I finally understood and remembered who is who between them. The gameplay - simple and sometimes boring. The game's style is nice and pleasant, so do the historic facts and the way, the game tells and shows us the spirit of that time and all scares of a war.
Inflated expectations played a cruel joke on me. First of all, because after two years of talking about the possibilities of DualSense, I was a little upset about what I got after playing this game. And secondly, since many people told that you definitely need to play the game in order to feel all the charms of the new generation, but it seemed to me that this was not the case. From the pleasant - the Playstation subject and history, and in everything else - it's still techno demo + platformer (not my favorite genre)
The game is for South Park fans only in my opinion. A side person won't find here an interesting gameplay and won't understand all the humor of the game. But for the real fan of franchise it will be a pure diamond. It was the first game in the last few years which I passed through in a week or something. I played almost everyday for few hours, in a weekend I played 5-6 hours and I wanted more and more. For me that is the main sign that the game is very-very good. I didn't get tired of the gameplay even by the end of the game. But the most wonderful things are the whole story, the characters and all the collectibles in the game, I found all of them and didn't tired too. I reduced the score because of two things - there was a drawdown in the last third of the game, and even with all these great sides of the game for me it was a little bit moments of a backtracking which sometimes made me tired. And of course it cannot be nine or ten because it is not a big game with gorgeous graphics, mechanics and a cinematic story. A great recommendation for SP fans!
The best game of the anthology in my opinion and the User Score proves it. The most worked characters with different and interesting personalities (the main part of such games I think), the updated gameplay, more interesting choices and the more structured storytelling in general. The graphic and the optimization in the game are worse than in the past part, but here you don't look at it so intently. They are moving forward in the right way with this series.
I felt very strange during playing this game. From one side - pleasent atmosphere, beautiful graphic even on PS4, some interesting moments in the story and in the gameplay. From the other side - in general almost all aspects of the game are medium or below: the story itself, the game mechanics, the wick characters and etc. The thing which was annoing me the whloe game - B12's voice, I put the score down on one point because of it. Really, when the game positinons itself like relaxing and the whole 5-6 hours you hear that terrible sound - brrr.
It was unexpected good. Maybe because of a pause after I passed the 4th part or maybe because of previous games I played as they were not the best quality. But here I was very pleased with game's graphics, it's engine and almost all techincal aspects. Yes, it is not the greatest story and the characters, but it common, generally, I liked the game and recommend it to everobody.
This part is a little better than the previous. Here we have a much more elaborated optimization, very nice graphic an visual options. The developers worked good about many little details of the game like QTE and the whole engine looks more attractive. Also the characters became a way more rememberable than before. The story itself is also more interesting than the story of the ship. But these are still silly-acting people, who speak to each other in a very strange and silly way, so you cannot take everything seriously. A separate topic - stupid and not scary screamers, which are awful.
It was horrible. it is not a good game, it is not a good movie, it is not an interesting story. It is bad technically (I don't remember worse optimisation than here), the characters are very very bad in all aspects. If you don't play it, you will not loss anything.
The second part of this series made a big step from the first part in my opinion. At the start of the Last Light i thought that it was still the same game with little upgrades, but the dipper i went thorught the game, the more i understood the difference between both parts. Yes, technically it stayed almost the same - the weapon, the mechanics, the enemies. But the whole plot settings, the way the team added a lot of new story things in the game itself. It was way more and more interesting to play the Last Light for me and I was really waiting for the dialogues and the story-telling parts after the fights. The main advantage of the game for me was the part of the game when we met one of the main characters here - after that momen the game gave me a lot of new senses and thoughts and I think that it is a great characteristi for every game or for every other form of art. There are still bad sides of the series - one-type gameplay, very similar characters ( I really often mixed them up in my head) and it is still rather old to play it in 2022. In any case, the game left a good and holistic impression.
I would say that the game is overrated, or I should say that it seemed such for me. From the very beginning I was disappointed with it's graphics, but OK, this game is not about the graphics and technologies. So, the main thing, which everybody is talking about is it's story and senses the game carries. Maybe it is so for teenagers or kids, but for a grown man the things discussed in the game are rather obvious and not so complicated. Also I cannot agree with all compliments to the gameplay, to it's diversity. Yes, there are a lot of mini-games, a lot of different components into the main game, but they are rather simple and unmemorable. I can mark the good humor and characters (the Book especially) but nothing else, so it is above medium for me.
I felt in different ways while playing this game. In the very beginning it seemed strange, then it looked great and interesting, after it became slow and a little boring, and then it agai became interesting and exciting. You should to understand, that it is a Japanese game, and there are people who likes such games, and there are people who not. Even if you are in the middle between these two - you like it. I think that all of you know what is this game about, so I won't say anything about the gameplay, the characters and other things. I just can say that this game is very similar to that which I imagined in my childhood as the best game for me. But since the development of the game ended under certain circumstances and the whole game came out a little torn because of this, this very much undermines the legendary and cult status of this game, although it is still too multifaceted and different-sided.
For me this part took a step forward compared to the previous part. From the better graphic to the more complete story- the whole components beacme better and more elaborate. Yes, it is still the same Tomb Raider, it is one mane storylane, there are almost same skill trees, the same game mechanics and playstyles, of course a lot of similar puzzles, tombs and treasures. But in Rise all these components are made much much better and in sum with the whole world and it's atmosphere it was pleasent and interesting for me to play the game.
While playing the first 20-30% of the game I just wanted to drop it, but I finished the game and it was not so bad. Technically it is obsolete even after the remaster - bad graphics, too weak game mechanic, simple and obvious story like from a 2005 year game. I was even angry at some moments because of the game's interface and controls - there is too much everything on the screen and you can easy get confused among it before you learn how to use needed components. The good sides of the game are it's atmosphere and the dipping the more you go through the story. For me the main part of this dipping were the notes in which we learnt the lore of the world. So I won't play it again, but I will play the next part of series to learn what will happen further.
The edition itself is rather good with all it's additional content (creator's comments, characters's models and etc.), but there are a few questions for some seasons. The first and the second seasons are good in my opinion (as I see the rating, in people's opinion too). But the New Frontier story and Michonne DLC are rather weak. The final season saves the whole game series a little and leaves some good emotions after ending this huge story. The gameplay of these game is well known for everybody who plays it, so each person decides itself if he likes it or not. From me I can tell that there is good moments as well as bad ones. So if you want to try an interesting and long story in post-apocalyptic world and if you don't looking for a gorgeous gameplay and technoligies - you should try this game.
My first game from the RE series. I was pleasantly surprised when I started the game. The atmosphere, the whole style, the graphics (for the 2017 game), the gameplay and the story itself of course - I really liked all of these. Some bad sides had shown for me closer to the end of the game - very strange shooting sometimes and not really great way to lead the plot to. The last third of the game spoils the impression of the whole story a little, but in sum we have the good story, with the good gameplay and the great atmosphere.
In the very beginning of the game I thought that I won't finish it, but then I liked it more and more. The game looks like a female version of first three parts of Uncharted with the same good things and the same problems as well. In some moments I like the gameplay and in other moments I want to drop it. One episode looks cool and cinematic but another one looks bad even for the 2014 year game. I don't really liked the way how the whole story started, it felt like we started not from begining, but then even this simple plot got me into. Generally, it is not the great game, isn't the masterpiece even more so, but it is rather strong game, which makes me to want play the next part.
It seemed too short for me, as I wanted to play the main campaign only, without other contracts and without playing same locations again and again. But it is still classic Hitman. It is not about the great story, so you just either like the game for it's atmosphere or for it's competitiveness. I appreciate the first one, so I just enjoyed some maps, some I didn't like at all. I hope I will like next two parts more.
I cannot say that it was an incredible journey and a heartbreaking story. Sometimes it was cute and nice, sometimes it was thrilling, but in common I didn't find that deepness, which authors put in this game. For me the whole world of the game, it's atmosphere were empty and not very interesting. Music played a big role in this, or rather its absence. There is just silence in most parts of the game, but the good soundtrack could save the situation, in some cutscenes there are some strange sounds which are awful. The game is too Japanese maybe in all its forms, I think. Technically the game is also horrible, it looks disgusting, it plays bad. The controlling of the beast is impossible, to the end of the game I often became angry on Trico because of it's actions and moves. I won't play it again and don't recommend it to you.
Do not understand such different marks for this part and for Battlefield 1, because BF1 was terrible and boring but this game I really liked. Beautiful and interesting stories in solo campaign. They are so cinematic and so impressive with all these characters and storylines. Maybe it is because of my low expectations. Yes, here is rather standart multiplayer mode with all it's problems and sameness, but in this game I even played online for some hours. So, classic shooter with the main online-part for the most players and the great solo part as for me.
The game seems like a demo-version of GTA+Bully with coop elements. I bought a second gamepad specially for this game and I can't say that I regret about it, but the game is rather short (about 5-6 hours of medium gameplay), it is has the outdated grahipcs, like for 2018 year game. Also, all game mechanics are very similar to each other, but because of the small size of the game do not get bored so quickly. But it was still fun to play in some places.
Journey in the ocean? Or somethnig really similar to it. I wanted to try this game for 20-30 mins, but played the whole game in one sitting (1.5 hours). Meditative and light game for you to relax, nothing else. Beautiful colors, sometimes even wonderful. Great audio effects and music that reminded me of fairy tales from my childhood and that created a pleasant atmosphere in the game. Liked it more than Journey.
This is really unusual game that is not like the ones you have played before. Yes, there are some obvious problems, that many people wrote about - such as a boring gameplay (not for me, to be honest) or a backtracking (sometimes it was really annoying). Personally, I had a drawdown in terms of interest in the game, but it was small and quickly ended. But all these disadvantages are eliminated by the incredible atmosphere, the originality of the game and the twisted and rather interesting plot. The atmosphere of the game is the main diamond for me, because these are the real post-apocalyptic world and moods.
A fun game for 1-2 hours of playing at a party with friends. No more, no less. It is unlikely that you will play it alone, or for more than a couple of hours with friends.
Yoo all know everything about this game. For me, like, for the player, who played every previous part since FIFA 04, the score for this one formed like that: Ultimate team - 0 or 1, it is getting worse and worse. I played this mode less than ever before; Volta - 3 or 4, it was something new and fresh for me, but not so long; Career mode - 4 or 5, some new features, some more lost licenses, but still without big progress. So, in general only 2, because of their mane mode, which is awful.
I am not a hater of the CoD series, but this is the worst part I have ever played. it is looks like Just Cause 4 or Warface or something. Graphic, the interface and the whole decoration looks terribly, something between a mobile game and a browser shooter. About the gameplay and game modes - i deleted the game after completing half of the plot. There is no campaign at all. There are only some separated missions with the same, absolutely empty, characters. I think that all features and the main setting of this part are bad for many players too. Online mode was turned off after one try, and it was not because of my bad skill. The zombie mode not so bad as the whole other game, so the game has my 2 only for this mode. If you are in doubt, my advice - go by.
Average game with its pluses and minuses. Pluses: + strong story as for me; + interesting and memorable characters; + setting and entourage, and the whole environment with all letters, textes and other; + RPG component of the game (the character skill mostly, the items part is rather bad). Minuses: - optimization, it is the worst of all games I have played on PS4; - drops, they were very often and sometimes it discouraged the desire to play; - lack of fast movement, so you had to run through the whole map to your next point and every night the enemies are respawn, so you must kill them again and again; - a lot of unnecessary dialogs, which are just intentionally lengthen the playing time. So the main story and game were near 7 point for me, but all technical problems were really annoying and earned a reduced score.
I can't share such good ratings for this game, probably because I'm not a fan of the online component of such games. The game should be divided into two parts - the solo campaign and the online part. They both are bad for me. There are a lot of beautiful cinematic adds in the cmapign and in the online intros also, the visual is not bad at all, but the whole story and it's raggedness gives you nothing but disappointment. All this solo part of the game looks just like a tutorial before the online play, which is the main part of the game. I played only few hours in the online modes here and I didn't like it at all. For comparison the online mode in COD WW2 was rather better for me. A lot of modes that are almost same to each other, classic chaos, for such gmaes, with random shoots and kills, if you don't play with your own team. The only interesting thing in the game - cards with the short facts about WW1.
