This movie could be good, people behind this guys just wasted this opportunity. Don’t ask us why we review bomb it. We only need a satisfying and enjoyable experience, this story delivers none of them. Kirk Cameron should remake this film.

This isn’t a movie it’s just some sitcom documentary of being with families on Christmas but even on those standards this is completely an atrocious mess the way it shows it’s message is so superficial and flat that it leaves no impact or lesson on Christmas in fact it actually makes us hate Christmas call it more like ruining Christmas the acting and dialogue what acting there isn’t any it’s just Kirk cameron having a random discussion it’s like being nosey o listening to a two person conversation that isn’t interesting it’s boring as hell this has about the same awfulness as the Nicolas cage film left behind because the connection between these is they both **** and Cameron was in a let behind adaptation before all left behind adaptations **** and saving Christmas Island is a real snooze fest 0 stars

Terrible movie with really terrible message. I wish that Mr. Cameron finally saw the errors of his ways and just vanished from the public eye altogether.

Christian right-wing propaganda at its finest. A tasteless film that does more to hurt Christmas than save it. Kirk Cameron is a ignorant **** whose a disgrace to all "Christians" he claims to represent.

There is a reason why Kirk Cameron won the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Screen Combo for him with his ego for this film. Its an utter travesty spewing a bunch of nonsense. If anything it made me want to tear down my christmas tree and replace it with a Festivus tree. Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas is the worst film I have ever seen.

There are tons of bad movies out there, but this one is just flat-out insulting. Normally I'd bash the terrible comedy, bad camerawork and lame script (trust me, I still hate them.), but it's the message in this movie that makes me want to attack Mr Cameron with a sharpened candy cane. The fact that there's apparently a 'wrong way' to look at Christmas is just narrow-minded and borderline offensive. What if we don't want to treat Christmas like the greatest day ever? What if we don't want to ignore the bad parts? I always saw Christmas as a season of mixed feelings personally. A confusing time where we don't always know how to feel. The Charlie Brown Christmas Special absolutely nailed this message and that was made in 1965. A good 49 YEARS EARLIER! Y'know an article on Kirk Cameron's website said that Atheism is founded on fear and prejudice. After watching this, I believe I've found a greater source of fear and prejudice. Fear that rational minded people are finding entirely logical flaws in your holiday and using prejudice to force them to change their ways. Please Please PLEASE do not watch this movie!

This move is about as intelligent as the moron who succumbed to Kirk begging people to give him 10/10 because his movie was the worst rated in history. Without that moron this movies real rating would be 0. How the movie cover even translates in to two guys crapping on in a car for 60 minutes is beyond me. Thank you Kirk Cameron for proving you are a **** bag.

In my long 15 years of movie-going, I have always awaited anxiously for that movie that made me choke: the moment has come with K. Cameron's Saving Christmas. A disrespectful tribute to Christmas and film-making, so disturbing to watch that I rather pass up on acid rain than watch this again. Just no. One of the worst films ever made, in my opinion.

This movie was TERRIBLE! Movies like Olive the Other Reindeer, Shrek the Halls and A Charlie Brown Christmas do a way better job at saving Christmas than this trash. The storyline was crap. The humor was garbage. Do not watch this because it ****.

Very sorry I sat through this and contributed to its loss/profit. …Okay. It will probably be a loss but less of a loss because of my patronage. Its poor: plot, acting effects. Erm… …It could be a nice story if the myths and untruths on which it is supposedly made where embellished for children. It fails in almost every department and even the children complained to me. I fear it may have permanently traumatized their Christmas experience. ***Parents alert**** There is a fair bit of lying and blatant rubbish Children may pick up on. I cannot even find the strength to comment on this movie. Read one above that is lower than a 3 and you should be there. I read a few and they were on the button (Apart from the fake ones like “ I was a Muslim and this movie converted me to Christianity”. Pfft. To all these reviewers claiming instructions for ATHIESTS etc. Look! people there is no war between religion and Athiesm, Athiesm is just an short explanation that you prefer to believe in things that can be proved or experienced objectively. Therefore It’s a march of reason, progress and intelligence. Just get on board, and we can move forward as a species together. … and make better movies. A turbulent and fitting end to the year that was 2014.

For years, I had stopped going to church. I had lost all my joy in the Christian life. Now, I have a reaffirmed joy in Christ that I haven't had in years. Thank you Kirk cameron for displaying the TRUE story of the holiday season and rejuvenating the most important aspect of my life--my spiritual life. Well done and continue to spread the message of the true meaning of Christmas. continue to change lives.

****'t even know how to begin this. Before I saw this film, I thought everything about Christianity was pathetic and that Christian were brainwashed fanatics. Afterwards, I found myself with no choice but to fall on my knees. KIrk's message about Saving Christmas was just so real to me...I never recognized just what a spiritually-dead and materialistic world we live in until now. We need revival. And it will not come if Santa Claus takes that wheel--only if JESUS does. the message of hope and forgiveness offered in this film is just breathtaking. I'll admit it--I cried after seeing this. And I changed my heart. Well done--Kirk and the crew. You guys are doing the world a service that our Hollywood saturated culture needs to hear.

Before I watched this film, I was a CONFIRMED ATHEIST. Now, I am a devout Christian. Kirk's message about the true meaning of Christmas just made me realize the narcissism of my own heart and what a mindless consumer I was like everyone else--especially during the holiday season. Even as a churchgoer for many years as a kid (because of my parents) I never truly felt the presence of God in any special way. But the way Kirk described the Christmas **** just paints such a vivid picture of the life of Jesus, and how we're all broken people, how we all need forgiveness. I can see all the negative reviews this film is getting--but I don't care. It brought me to my knees and I can safely say I will never look at Christmas--or life, for that matter--the same way. Thank you, Kirk Cameron, for helping me get on the straight and narrow and coming to terms with the sin in my own life that I never fully comprehended.

It deserves 10 stars to the Kirk telling the Historical accounts on the: (1) Book of Genesis and the Origins of trees, and winter solstice (astronomy of the planets aligning with this particular solar system), and their actual meanings; (2) Book of Exodus - specifically about the Tabernacle and what inside of the Structure, and their references; (3) Saint Nick (known as Santa Clause) and that he was part of the Council of Nicea, that he was also born-again, and help others with gifts. (4) Books of the Gospels (which are technically Old Testament) - Tree is the main central theme, in that Christ is God Incarnate (Fully Man and Fully God); He (Christ/Messiah) was born in swaddling (burial) clothes, that He was meant to die. He couldn't sin at all, and He was tested at all points, and still did not sin at all; He (Christ/Messiah) was beaten, Crucified on a Roman built Cross, died, covered in swaddling clothes, then buried for 3 days and 3 nights, and rose again (Resurrected). Why did He (Jesus Christ/Yeshua Messiah) do this? He did it for you, for every man, woman, and child is born a sinner because of Adam in the book of Genesis sinned, and we inherited this sin nature. This is what the movie is really about! It's about the Gospel, that Christ died for sinners! People who say 'Christmas is pagan', need to watch this movie, and then go back to the Origins, from the book of Genesis, whether's it's in your Torah or Tanak, New Testament, Gospels, History, Apostolic Writings, and/or Bible. This movie is really a commentary of Biblical History, and that you can still receive Salvation for your sins, and that you can be a child of God through Christ's Blood Sacrifice (The Perfect Lamb of God, Old Covenant typology). The media in news and movie reviewers view "evil is good", and "good is evil", and view this as the "worst movie ever" (in reference to Saving Christmas).. Really, it's the worst movie ever? Are you sure? What about James Cameron's Titanic, which really wasn't about the Titanic? I mean, you see the Titanic here and their, but it's about adultery, if you understand the term and it's origins: engagement, and it really means = to be married. What about Michael Bay's Transformers (2007)? You get the Transformers with very few lines to them (robot characters), and the lines are given to an actor and an actress, who are unknown until this movie came out. I felt like I was watching a cross-between Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Clueless (which I can't recommend either movie). I would hear from people in my area, that it was "a good movie!" and "Megan Fox is hot!", and in translation: "Good special effects, hot girl, and no substance to the story at all." Is their such a called movie plagiarism? It would apply to this particular movie! What did these two do, along with other movies who fall hard in Hermeneutical and Exegetical (Science and Art of Interpretation, letting the writer(s) speak for themselves, and having good application to what's being written/said) standards? In the fiction historical background, and non-fiction (literal history) accounts who fail to follow manuscripts that is it's history, and it fact, people get praised to doing something that receives an F-, and get ridiculed for A+ when it comes to movies, documentaries, and commentaries. It's really: "Let's apply A+ to Ivy Leagues with their buy-out program" and "Let's apply F- to who understand True Interpretation of things." In today's society and since the 1920s-1930s, the view is: "reject it: if it convicts us, you need to a full 180 in your so-called life style (it's really a death-style), corrects these forms of so-called theologians views (****, fascist, communists, socialists = aka liberal and moderates), has True Supernatural substance to it, and it's True Historical accounts, it doesn't do my homework (research) for me" which Saving Christmas actually does. Yep, you get to your homework (research) on this Bible Commentary, Bible History, and actually documentational History (do Origin Source Research).. While the majority of society (not just in North America) embrace superficiality (i.e. Transformers, Titanic), and reject Hermeneutical and Exegetical standards, and perform Exegesis (let's take a mass amount of liberties, and give a folklore, myths, add deceptions here and their), and it does my homework (research) for me. It's: "Oh, I don't have to my homework for me! Hooray! I can be lazy!" Come on! Push yourself! Overwhelm your selfishness! Do the homework! Stop being lazy! This is a great example, to show, that Kirk Cameron wants to speak the majority who are in the two world-views: (a) Laodicean society (In the Bible, in the New Testament, read the book of Revelation, Chapter 3). (b) Corinthian society (In the Bible, in the New Testament, read the book of 1st and 2nd Corinthians).

What was this?! This was ****! It is the worst possible Christmas movie to date and I'm not even joking, taking LSD while watching Disaster Movie would be better than this, and Disaster Movie led up to its expectations.

Linus' speech on the stage in "A Charlie Brown Christmas" does more for "saving" Christmas than Kirk Cameron could ever do. The amount of eye rolling and groaning this movie causes is off the charts. Surely he'll blame the heathen critics for it's disman box office. But poorly reviewed recent Christian movies have made bank. His movies are just bad. And the hip-hop routine? Words can't describe the cringeworthiness of that.

If nothing else, this film will make you think: "Oh my gosh, Kirk Cameron is still alive." A sad realization in and of itself, sadder yet is that he's still managing to be on the brink of relevancy. The only reason I know about this movie is because my grandmother posted about it on her FaceBook page. I watched 15 minutes of it and I think I saw enough to make as good a critique as anyone could. The thing about Kirk Cameron is that that he has neither the directing, writing, or acting skills to make decent snuff film so I don't think anyone was expecting anything more than a good laugh if it failed badly enough. Unfortunately for those of us hoping to find chuckle or too: there is no laughter to be had here. I mean AT ALL. I've seen funnier Werner Herzog films. The humor in this movie is physically and psychologically tolling. The plot makes me think he didn't even try. And, If I didn't know better, I would think he had never actually heard of Christmas and had kind of Wikapedia'd it five minutes before writing the **** incompetency on display throughout this movie would be astonishing if anyone else had made this film, and the pandering to the narrow-minded right is about as obvious as Kirk Cameron is relevant.
