The Last Jedi did for me what I never expected. This film changed the way I saw Star Wars. The Force evolving in such a unique way, the mythology of the Force, and an end battle that gave me chills. I don't care how many people hate me for this, I think The Last Jedi is a masterpiece.

Creed was just fantastic. The characters are very well fleshed-out, Stallone gives a performance I thought he could never do, and ultimately the film becomes one of the best sequels ever made.

I liked Rocky, but I feel like there were a lot of scenes and character moments that seem to come and go out of nowhere.

The Babadook is a very unsettling film. Its atmosphere always puts you on edge, and never lets you go until it ends. Even when it ends, you still get the feeling that something's not right.

I Feel Pretty is not going to be remembered as one of the great comedy classics, but its message is nice and unique, the leads are likeable, and gets a few chuckles out of me.

Tim Burton's reimagining of Planet of the Apes succeeds in terms of makeup and costume designing, but falls completely flat on its face with its script, acting, and direction.

I really really enjoyed A Quiet Place. Lots of great visual storytelling, brilliant acting, and (mostly) great characters. Although the parents make a choice that sounds incredibly dangerous and irresponsible.

This film is very unevenly toned, there's not many smooth segways in between scenes, characters will talk about random things, and will randomly switch between emotions for no reason. But that's what makes Where the Wild Things Are so unique. These things would normally be issues in most other films, but Spike Jonze has these through the lens of a child's mind. Children ARE random and irrational at times, and this film more than most others, knows exactly how to portray these feelings.

Rampage is decent. The Rock is very charismatic, the effects are really good, and the plot is (mostly) comprehensible.

Admittedly, Tomb Raider is a very fun action film with a badass and likeable lead. Not complex, but simple enough to make sense in its own context.

I have never seen a film like this before. I've never seen this plot done before. It's very clever in concept, but once you see it in execution, it takes in a whole new level of amazing. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a fantastic science-fiction dramedy and has a great message about the importance of memories, good and bad.

War for the Planet of the Apes was gut-wrenchingly epic. Andy Serkis gives the best performance of his career, the visual effects are stunning, and the visual storytelling is down-right poetic at times.

The Boss Baby has some dazzling visuals, but it becomes very confusing to the point to where I have no idea if what I'm watching is actually happening or if it's all in the kid's mind.

I can't say this is a full-on ZERO, since I chuckled twice in The Emoji Movie Plus, some of the visuals were decent. But at the same time, I cringed so badly with just about every other line that was said.

I honestly thought Captain Underpants would ****. I thought it was a very stupid idea. But after watching this movie, I laughed my ass off. Pretty great, if you ask me.

If I'm being honest, The Lego Batman movie is the most hilarious spoof movie I've seen in decades. The film makes fun of how weird the caped crusader has been over the years, and yet simultaneously celebrates how awesome he truly is.

Shyamalan is back. Split is absolutely fantastic, and James McAvoy honestly gives an Oscar-nomination worthy performance as Kevin Wendell Crumb and 9 of his 23 different personalities.

The Big Sick is a very wholesome movie. Kumail's friendship with his girlfriend's parents feels very natural, which leads to some great laughs and great dramatic moments.

While the beast's CGI should have been better, I thought this was a very enjoyable Disney musical. Yeah, it's a lot like the original, but the original was good. So, why should I complain?

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is a fantastic film about anger and how people deal with it. But weirdly enough, it often times takes it in a humorous way, which weirdly works.

Wow. I never would have thought a movie where a lady f*cks a fish would be any good, but in a way, I was right. It was a brilliant film. It goes beyond the whole fish-f*cking and actually puts it in the perspective of characters trying to find meaning in life. Great job, Del Toro.

Logan is brutal, bloody, and violent. But at the same time, Logan is sad, somber, and heartfelt.

The beginning felt too much like a cartoon, but once the title "X-Men: Apocalypse" pops up, the film INSTANTLY gets better.

Deadpool is a relentlessly funny comedy that quite honestly rips the superhero genre a new one.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is awesome! The action is spectacular, the effects are mind-blowing, the characters are very well fleshed-out, and the stakes feel very important.

While the finale is a bit too jarring in tone, the rest of the movie is the best Wolverine stuff I've seen until I saw Logan.

The first movie in this franchise that I'd call GREAT, X-Men: First Class thrives with very down-to-earth characters, the best being Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr.

The only thing X-Men: Origins has going for it is Hugh Jackman. He's still amazing as Wolverine. But with horrible CGI, a confusing plot, and of course, the dreaded treatment of Deadpool, this film just ****.

I liked The Last Stand, but probably because I didn't love the previous two films.

X2: X-Men United is a big step up from the first film. The action is better, the pacing is better, and Wolverine is given even more depth. However, X2 still has some bland side-characters, and the stakes never feel THAT high.

While I appreciate X-Men for taking superhero movies more seriously, it doesn't hold up overall as a film. The effects are horrible, the action's terrible, the characters aren't interesting (except for Wolverine), and while it's amiable that the movie attempts to have a message of racial prejudice, but the film fails to show any of the good people who WOULD support the mutants. Again, X-Men has an important place in film history, but I feel like it's aged.

The action is outstanding, the characters leap off the screen, the villain Syndrome is hilariously accurate to the toxicity of fandom these days, all put together in a screenplay by Brad Bird that makes The Incredibles Pixar's best film yet.

While Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is better than the first, it still stands at the same level as the first with nice visuals, good performances, but with characters that I still don't really care about.

Nothing in this movie is necessarily inappropriate for kids, but at the same time, it's incredibly stupid and offers nothing of real value.

Only slightly higher quality than a SyFy channel movie, The Legend of Hercules' production value makes it one of the worst action films I've seen in recent years.

So, the moral of War Room is if your husband is abusive, then it's YOUR fault, and you need to pray to God for him to forgive YOU and let him do all of the work instead of getting counselling or if all else fails, a divorce. That's a disgusting, sexist message.

While Norm of the North isn't offensively bad, it's still really f*cking stupid. Twerking polar bears galore.

So, Left Behind assumes that if the rapture were to happen, everybody left behind would just automatically start turning into thieves and have no sense of humanity, elderly people who have a weak state of mind would ALSO be left behind, and even MUSLIMS get left behind??? You do know Christians, Muslims, and even Jews worship the same God, right?

Whoops, the franchise just got worse. Plot points that go nowhere, the characters still act like idiots or jerks, blah blah blah, you've heard this before.

I've never experienced a movie like this. The first act was boring, the second act was so bad it was funny, and the third act was so bad it was scary.

This movie is so pointless and stupid, I'm not going to even bother giving D'Souza my attention. I'm probably just going to use this time to make some lunch.

While Elsie Fisher and the rest of the cast give A-Grade performances, and Eighth Grade most certainly is the most realistic depiction of Middle School I've ever seen, it's so realistic to the point of me questioning why it even exists, if nothing of real interest or lasting conflict happens.

I thought Justice League pretty enjoyable. Everyone's performances are really good, and the dynamic between the characters are fun to watch. But, there are a few problems. For one, the CGI is pretty weak. Some shots look like they'd be great video game effects, but they don't look convincing in real life. Also, I feel like Justice League was trying to "fix" the issues than angry fanboys had. But, however, the things they were "fixing" were things that didn't even need fixing. For one, the tone felt VERY different from the other DCEU movies. But unlike the X-Men movies or the MCU, the tonal shift feels very abrupt. We went from a more aggressive franchise with little bits of humor to being more kid-friendly. Again, I don't mind if they want to go a little lighter, but it's pretty clear that some of the choices to make it lighter were not part of the original vision. Another example is the color. It might be brighter, but you can tell that from the way it was shot, you can tell this color pallette was not the original style for the film. It gives the film a more washed-out look. Also, the music is pretty disappointing. What Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL did in Man of Steel and Batman v Superman was incredible. The music in those films were both fun to listen to, yet aggressive enough to be intense. Danny Elfman's score feels very out of place, even adding some unneeded callbacks to the '89 Batman theme and the '78 Superman theme. But, even though I wish the studio didn't feel pressured to make it more kid-friendly instead of just sticking to the tone and style they had with the previous 4 films in the franchise, Justice League is a decent film with nice character interactions. And no, there's no Snyder Cut. Give it a rest.

I honestly loved Christopher Robin. Granted, we've seen this story before, but I feel like this movie does it in such a heartfelt and different way that it FEELS new. The visual effects are shockingly incredible. The CGI stuffed animals seamlessly blend into their environment. And of course, Jim Cummings is just fantastic as Winnie the Pooh. This rivals his performance as Tigger in The Tigger Movie as his two best performances he's ever given.

Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind is an absolutely fascinating documentary that shows the life, career, and psyche of one of the funniest comedians who ever lived.

Look, the original show is better, but honestly, Teen Titans Go! To the Movies is relentlessly funny and the cast is just as awesome as always.

Jesus Christ, where do I start with Nightcrawler? This film is terrifyingly honest about how shady the news can be. Gyllenhaal is absolutely excellent and truly proves the villain can be the lead in a movie.
