Way better graphics, story and playability than Eye of Beholder and other similar games in the genre.

Great game, I played this game when I was younger and I re-played it again for the first time in 12 years...honestly I still enjoy the game. I find new secrets and weapons every time I play through the game and still find it challenging as I did back then. The music still fills my head when I get a reminder. The game is difficult hard to get going properly on newer systems but DosBox seems to work 100%.

Really great game. Huge amounts of time and effort were invested by the now defunct Westwood Studios to give birth to this masterpiece. This game is an inventive and cinematic RPG filled with plot twists, decent combat in an expensive and detailed world. Its engine wasn't up to par with other games at the time, but Lands of Lore 2 was so well done with what it had that it probably still haunts some people's memories today as being a truly unique experience. Its scale is epic to say the least, and it was also very funny and challenging. I can't believe that no one ever rated this game before..!
