The developers split DreadOut into two parts, and the first half is frustratingly short. It will take you 2-3 hours tops, and that’s only because the game sometimes forgets to tell you when an interactive object is nearby, forcing you to run in circles looking for it.

Купил эту игру, потому что мне она напомнила очень классную, атмосферную страшилку под названием "Fatal Frame 3" игра в не на PS2, вот мне показалась эта игра похожей, решил купить. Зря. Игра просто дубовая, не понятная, я бы даже сказал без сюжетная. Я первый раз вижу игру, где вместо начало игры, мне говорят, выберите акт, АКТ! Какой акт? Я только что зашел в игру! Какой мне выбрать акт? Кароче, -45 грн, по скидке. Возврат делать бессмысленно, но за фул прайс это того не стоит.

Another horror walking simulator. Walking but no jumping, check. Asian schoolgirl, check. Scary asian girl, check. blood on the walls, check. furniture, check. tigh corridors to get trapped and killed in, check. puzzles that are aha puzzles that you either see it or don't and snap pictures of everything you can just in cse, check. jumpscares galore, check. The tension and weirdness was cool at first and the scary girl was very frightening. Jumpscares got me every time. Then when I finally started progressing i had no idea what to do and kept getting killed then going to limbo, came back out and immediately killed again. Now just running and picture taking. I think i'm going to have to just find a walkthru just to get thru this stuff which is no fun. I liked the creepineess and isolation and despair at the **** girl wakes up somewhere, taken from where she was and is tormented by the girl ghost... but then you HAVE to give me more story and let me progress through. At least there is a cute kitty tho.

The first act of DreadOut shows all the potential of the full game, still in development. The atmosphere is thick and scary and wherever you go, something happens. It takes only three to four hours to beat the game, but with so many different ghosts to fend off, it's a trip that's worth your time.

If DreadOut's glimmers of potential are enough to push you past the mountains of frustration and poor design, don't expect a lot of reward for your struggles. The game ends with a limp cliffhanger, no narrative closure and an unenthused "To Be Continued" hanging over the credits.

The framework of what could be a solid title is in place; perhaps even the talent to see it through. But as it stands, DreadOut is plagued with poor design choices and a small budget.

Not half ass bad, but the game is straightforward and too short. The Dev should create longer game timeline, or unless the ACT 2 should be longer and add ACT 3 to ACT 5.

Completely nice start for Indie Dev. Memorable games for this month and give hope for another dev to create better game than DreadOut. Surprisingly Good

ENG RU For the first time I meet the game in this genre, where you need to literally zaklikivat enemies camera and still manages to run and Dodge. Plus, it gets weird in the office, when you turn sharply and you have to restore on the new. The beginning of game strange. but expensive in company through the village to school can stir interest, but everything is empty. Wander around the school, get out of it, then again school, forests, try to understand what you need and when to do, and even at a certain angle or several times, generally rotten, but still constantly in your face shoved these disgusting faces of enemies, in some game than, it is better than their counterparts, but in itself dull and boring. Впервые встречаю игру в этом жанре, где нужно в буквальном смысле закликивать врагов фотоаппаратом и еще умудрятся бегать и уворачиваться. Плюс ко всему начинаются странности в управлении, когда ты резко поворачиваешься и приходится наводить по новой. Начало игры странное. но дорого в компании по деревне до школы может подогреть интерес, но все оказывается пустышкой. Бродим по школе, выбираемся из нее, потом снова школа, леса, попробуй понять, что нужно и когда сделать, да еще и под определенным углом или несколько раз, вообщем тухло, да еще постоянно тебе в лицо сунут эти отвратительные рожи врагов, в каком - то игра чем, то лучше своих собратьев, но сама по себе уныла и скучна.
