Crystal Story: Dawn of Dusk is an interesting game, but there are little things that may frustrate players. As the first of an episodic series, it feels a little bit expensive, especially for the number of hours you get out of it.

Crystal Story: Dawn of Dusk just feels too incomplete to recommend at this moment in time. There's the likelihood that the game will improve as new updates are finished and added, and I really hope that will be the case. But currently a mess of frustrating mechanics spoils this retro throwback.

As a retro Zelda with some interesting turn based combat concepts this was ok. But the amount of bugs and lack of checkpoints made this extremely frustrating. The puzzle sequences are unintuitive and difficult.

There's no way to rebind the keyboard keys. This is unacceptable in this time and age. Try again. And next time don't forget how to make a proper interface.
